Theresa I can't remember if I commented on this, but I enjoyed reading your review as well :thumbsup2

By the way, I loved your review of Little Mermaid. It sounds like it was a fun day for you and the girls.

Every time I go to order checks, I want to get the Tinkerbell ones, but Gary would probably have a fit lol

Hope you get some good rest tonight!

Oh, I forgot! I ordered new checks today! They are Mickey silhouette checks. Alan will flip out, but at least I didn't order the Princess ones, right? Since I'm the one who writes the checks out, he can't really complain, now, can he?

Deb I hope you get to feeling better :wizard:

Tammi good luck with Alyssa's appointment tomorrow!

Jennifer glad to her your vist with the DR. went well.

Hope all of the DDA gets a good night sleep :cloud9:

I guess with that I am caught up :)

time for another recap? lol

Elizabeth, Elin, Tammi & Janet, Thank you so much for the compliment's on my Pirate and Princess :D

Elizabeth, I hope they're done moving him between teachers and classes and you can sit down with his teacher's soon. Lots of pixiedust: to you all with getting everything worked out the sooner the better i'm sure for all involved.

Jen. I know you're already off in slumberland or i hope
you are. get a good night sleep, and I hope tomorrow
isn't too stressful and busy for you. i should be around
tomorrow night if ya wanna talk. :grouphug:

Kim, I hope for their sake as well as yours that they
sell the house fast. good luck with all that's going
on.

Theresa, i'm so sorry about your souvenier, if you
seriously want it replaced at least let him know where
he can find it other wise i would just get it myself and
tell him he's gotta make it up to you some other way :P

Tammi, I hope you guys can get into a smooth flowing
routine so it doesn't seem so stressed. Good luck
tomorrow with Alyssa's follow up.

Deb, I found your solution for POP's no coffee maker
in the room http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html?asin=B00005MF9CI have an older version of it. Actually i think mine is close to 15 years old now and it's still going strong..I take it when ever we're gonna be in a hotel and i'm not sure if there is a coffee maker in there and when we go camping with my girlfriend, since i'm the only coffee drinker. it takes about 2-5 minutes to brew a cup and you're on your way, you can pick up a second cup to use for brewing or if you already have your resort mugs after one cup is done brewing pour it in there and start the next, or splt the first cup to get your fix :D. I'm not sure if you guys would drink a full pot normally but this is a great little travel companion for those that need their morning coffee to actually wake up ( like me ). I hope you're feeling better before your camping trip this weekend. and I hope the weather holds out for the kids to go trick or treating.
If ya have a free minutes can ya give me a run down of the counting carbs.. I've seriously gotta do something to get back to me pre babies weight.. i've given up on being skinny i've never been skinny in my life but at least back to the weight i was before my angel's destoryed my body lol

Robyn, I'm glad you got to see all of your family over the weekend. Have you ever gone to DW's halloween set up? we did Hershey in the dark last year for RJ's birthday (they're not starting this year 'till the weekend after his birthday) and i'm wondering if DW's set up is more catered to the little guys. I mean they had a blast
last year with Treatville and all but I'm trying to see if we might be better off doing DW this year .

Janet, I really hope you guys hear something soon with the Jimmy.. I can't stand being with out my truck. this past Jan the Trans went and i was w.o it for a month, needed to save up some mone to get it rolling again. Once the guys picked it up .. they shocked the heck out of me. they called me the next day by noon that the truck was
ready to be picked up. I sometimes would rather take our vehicles (if it's too big of a job for butch to do in a weekend) to a local shop. they can be some of the best people to deal with and they go off of word of mouth more then a dealership there for are more likely to follow up with you and back their work. I really hope you hear something soon pixiedust:

ok i'm caught up again .. speaking of the 'burban being out of commision lol .. Tonight after DH got home from work he started to do the breaks.. and quickly found out that the break hardwear had attached itself to the breakshoe ( or something..) needless to say he couldn't get something off.. off he goes to get the new hardware.... fast forward 8 pm... he comes in gets cleaned up and eats dinner .. then asks me "do you have to go anywhere tomorrow?".." no not really why?".. "well because you're truck's still up on jackstands, i have to fit the new shoes to fit your emergency break cable and i was getting eaten alive so i'll finish it tomorrrow" well good thing i didn't have to go anywhere lol .. so i'm w/o my truck tomorrow .. i'm thinking crafts for the kids tomorrow or otherwise we're gonna be pulling each other's hair out ..

Chris and I each lost 50 lbs counting carbs. Of course we were limited to 20 carbs per day  If you have any questions we may be able to help out with that.

What to eat for breakfast besides eggs and one slice of toast and bacon sometimes or one tortilla and eggs with bacon sometimes

okay well since I fell asleep at the computer and just woke up I think I will head to bed. Chat with you all tomorrow.

Morning Elin, Heidi and Tammi

Afternoon all..

Terry and Steffy- any chance you are free Saturday late afternoon early evening? Thought maybe we could meet up for dinner or something if you are.

Hi Robyn,

Wouldn't I love too! I have a really important family party to attend. One of those 50 years thingies. I'm off to bed....:dance3:

Before we got our 1st cat, Gary was very adamant that he did not like cats, nor did he want us to get one. Guess who loves them just as much now  Actually he was the one saying we needed to get another one & I kept saying no, until my friend showed me a picture of Mia. I knew I just had to add her to our family!

It is amazing how these macho, burley men get all gooey when around cats. Hal is just so cute when he is holding one of them. Ella just has him wrapped around her little paw. He complains but deep down inside I know he really would miss them if they were not around.

I came home today from work with a heavy duty migraine. All it took was a two hour nap, pain meds and Hal making supper to help get rid of it. Plus the male cats laying with me just a purring away.:goodvibes :goodvibes

Lindsay - I hope you are feeling better while you are in Austin.

Glynis - I hope Katie gets better soon and does not share her germs with the rest of you.

Elizabeth - I am glad you got your AKL ressies all worked out. hopefully your friend will calm down and let things alone.

Robyn - have you ever heard of taking it easy?!?!?

Kim - where are you taking care of this 1 year old? Here in F'burg? or are you in C'ville?

Nope! It's really not all that bad. The one advantage of watching the boys M-F is that we are home and things are relatively slow til about 4:30pm. Our weekends are never slow and rarely do we have one to ourselves. But after being stuck in the house all week I don't mind one bit.

Thanks, Kim. I am. RE on Mondays, soccer on Tues, Thurs, Sat thru mid-Oct., dance on Fridays, and karate whenever we can squeeze it in. :sad2:

See your schedule looks just as crazy!!! I am not looking forward to when Lucy gets old enough to

She has had a setback with school starting, and is having 2-3 accidents/day. But when she is with me all weekend, she is fine, although I'm making her go every hour or so. She is still in pull-ups at night. :sad2: I want to see if there is anything further he can do/recommend for her.

I thought you were going to tell me it was flurrying!

My girlfriend's little girl just started Kindergarten too and is having the same issues. They started a reward chart for her and it seems to be working. Hopefully the urologist can give you some ideas.

Hi Robyn,

Wouldn't I love too! I have a really important family party to attend. One of those 50 years thingies. I'm off to bed....:dance3:

Have fun!! I am sure we will get a chance to meet up again.

Heather- I forgot to quote your post but we've never been to Dutch Wonderland during the holidays. I just found out they do a Christmas thing and I am hoping we can get back up there then. I've heard wonderful things about Hershey Park at Christmas.

Bernadette- Forgot to quote you too. Naps are encouraged here every day!! And I even manage a quick one sometimes too! I seem to be able to get everyone else's kids to nap but my own. Emma and Molly are both terrible nappers.

Hopefully I won't forget anyone...

Jennifer- Glad to hear you had a good dr. visit. The cake sounds yummy.

Deb- Hope you get to feeling "right". Wow, nothing but bowling for the boys. Enjoy the down time.

Glynis- How is Katie feeling today? I hope Alan is home sooner than 2 weeks.

Terry- Glad to hear the migraine didn't last long. I will call you later in the week. We are going with another couple and their kids so I just need to work out times and such.

Tammi- Hope the visit to the Dr goes well for Alyssa

Elizabeth- I sure hope that you and DS can get this school thing figured out. :wizard:

Janet- Love the story about Gary, my dad was the same with our dog when I was living at home. Didn't want one, we brought him home and that was that. He fell in love at first sight and misses him the most now that he is gone.

Kim- Sounds like you are going to be quite busy taking care of the baby. How nice of you:goodvibes Good luck with the inlaws and the intrusion on your vacation. :wizard:

Heather- Hope the truck gets fixed easily and today isn't too bad! Love the new siggy pic! Cute kids

Theresa- I would just replace the plate. Sorry it got broken.

I feel like I missed a bunch so 's and :wizard: all around

Off to start the day...It looks like it is raining, fingers crossed that soccer practice won't happen!

Have a great day, DDA!!

Tammi, I hope you guys can get into a smooth flowing
routine so it doesn't seem so stressed. Good luck
tomorrow with Alyssa's follow up.
Thank you too. I'm sure we will. It will be even easier once the weather here breaks. It has been so darn hot lately that it really wears you out.
