I can remember this happening a few times during Garrett's 1st year in preschool :rotfl:

Thank, Kim. I put extra clothes in her backpack. One day she went through them all and came home wearing funky pants from the nurses office.

Shane did that too once in kindergarten. He came home wearing something weird and not matching. :rotfl2:

No that would not be alot of fun!

Part of my dislike of cats is that the girls and I are all allergic to them. So I especially don't like the wheezing and watery eyes that I get when a cat is around. ;)

I suspect that I might have a UTI. I had a bit of a rough night. I called my Doctor this morning, but can't get in until tomorrow afternoon. The boys have appointments then too so at least we'll only make one trip. In the meantime I'll drink as much water as humanly possible and see if I can flush it out. I found someone to take my shift tonight so that will give me a little break too. Maybe it's nothing, it's hard to tell, but I know that something is off. The aches and pains are what's throwing me since that usually wouldn't be a UTI.

Now I'm off to play Disney Bingo with Colby. He played one practice game by himself :rotfl:

I have the day off & I am feeling so lazy! I need to get laundry done & clean the house some. This cool weather really makes me want to start baking something :rotfl: I have everything I need to make some banana bread except baking soda  Oh well, not much I can do about that!

Deb - Feel better soon!

Marci - I would LOVE for DS to only have one hour of homework! But I can't imagine getting DS to Shelton and back every day!:scared: Which is a silly thing to say since you guys live so much farther than we do. Anyway, I am going to call the school and the Dr. today and see what sort of progress we can make. One of his homework assignments last night was 20 math problems that he CHOSE to do over because he didn't get a good score on them. But without those he still would have had a solid 2 hours of homework.

It is a very nice day here! The Pearl said 69 degrees when I was driving in. It actually felt COOL when we left the house! The radio said the high is only 80 today! I wonder if it will last? I would love to get Princess to the zoo and some other outdoor things!

I just got a call from our postmaster. She is covering a different office today and they have a couple of pins. She is going to buy them for me and I can pick them up at our post office on Thursday  Now that is great customer service :thumbsup2

Deb

WOW! That is great!:thumbsup2
I still have a couple of offices we could try but I think I am over that. :rotfl2: If the first 7 offices I tried didn't have any pins then the last 2 probably won't, either!

The nurse just called me back and she is going to talk with DS's Dr. about his meds. Her child is in the exact same boat, but he started middle school last year. She said it is a hard transition for them with all the different procedures and teachers and so forth.

I finally managed to sort out which method of payment I used for all of those room deposits so I can watch for my refunds. Hopefully it won't take forever. The CM I spoke to yesterday said it takes 7-10 business days.

She has had a setback with school starting, and is having 2-3 accidents/day. But when she is with me all weekend, she is fine, although I'm making her go every hour or so. She is still in pull-ups at night. :sad2: I want to see if there is anything further he can do/recommend for her.

I thought you were going to tell me it was flurrying!

Ack!!!!! Bite your tongue!!! I'm hoping that's still a long way off. I love Fall, and really want to enjoy it!

Now to just find some thing besides eggs to eat for breakfast every morning

I hear ya! That gets old really fast!!! I have found a great cereal: Special K Protein. It has 9 grams of carbs per serving. It tastes really great!!! It helps break up the monotony of the eggs. Blue Bunny also has some great yogurt that is low carb. It does have Splenda, though, and if I remember right, you can't do the artificial sweetener, right?

Well, I'm off for a while today. I have to take my poodle to get trimmed, and then to do some shopping. My women's church group has asked me to talk about emergency preparedness and to demonstrate a 72 hour kit that I've come up with for my family. I need to flesh it out, and figure out how best to demonstrate/display it.

I've also got pears to pick and can, plums to turn into jam, and I'm running out of time. I need to get it all done before Thursday afternoon when I leave for my brother's wedding. Keep your fingers crossed that I'll get it all done!

That is awesome Deb! Extra cookies for her at Christmas :thumbsup2

Thanks I will look for the special K. I tried the diet coke with splendia and I got a Headache after. But I tried the Kraft sugar free pudding that is a 4 pack it was vanilla and had splendia in it and no Headache. I will look and see about the yogurt.

Wow  That's a lot to do in a short period of time with no husband around to boot. :wizard: :wizard: You can do it.

I'm sure you will, you have so much energy!

A friend at work gave me a jar of blackberry jam she made, I need to try it! We all love it when she makes stuff, because she always brings a little extra for us to try :goodvibes She made some bread & butter pickles that are so good & some cinnamon pickles. They sound weird, but they are very good as well!
