How hard for all of you! That poor little tyke, and poor you and the guys! I hope the house sells quickly for them. where in Richmond?

In Powhatan. They bought a house that was built in the 1750's - fully restored on about 20 acres of land. Her DH does restoration work for a living and they've been looking for this kind of house forever. This is just a really rough time in the housing market. I hope that they sell their old house soon. It's near Shenandoah and is on conservation property. It was a nice house too. It's just more contemporary and people who are looking for farms want farmhouses. KWIM? I don't mind helping. I would hope that someone would help me if I were in the same position, ya know?

 at Tammi! Sounds like you're busy too. :wizard: to Alyssa tomorrow.

I'm feeling a bit off tonight, well actually for the last week or so. Lots of aches and pains and my stomach has been off. I wish that I would either get sick or get well because this in between stuff stinks.

:goodvibes for you to feel better!

Afternoon all..

Sorry to have posted and ran last night. I got caught up but then the girls demanded my attention. How dare they!:confused3 We have been nonstop since Friday night and it's gearing up for another busy week and weekend.

We had soccer and grocery shopping Friday night. Then my cousins Mike, Jim and Jim's son, John drove down Saturday from MA/CT for the O's/Red Sox game that night. My mom got 4 free tickets from a company she deals with. The seats were 8 rows from home plate. It was John's first game ever so he was pretty excited that the seats were so great. It's too bad the O's stomped the Sox. Seemed like it was an impossible thing as the O's have to be the worse team in baseball. We had lunch here along with my parents and sister before they left for the Harbor and dinner there. My mom and another friend came over Saturday night and played cards til the guys, Eric was the 4th one to go,got home about 11:30. Went to bed around 12:30am after chatting with the guys. I was up yesterday morning at 5:30am to get showered and all 3 girls ready for breakfast at 8am. We met back up with my parents and sister. Said good bye to the 3 and they got on the road around 9:45am. We went shopping at Target, Emma's soccer game at 11am and they to my girlfriend's house for her DD's birthday party. We got home around 3:30 yesterday afternoon. Mo took a 2 hr nap, unheard of for her!! Emma and I watched a movie while Eric was in the basement for about 6 hrs doing homework.

This week is soccer Tuesday and Friday nights. Back to school night Tuesday as well. Thursday is my sister's surgery on her knee. I will be taking her and my mom is coming over here to watch the kids, all 7 of them as schools are closed. Molly also starts gymnastics on Friday night. And Saturday we are headed to Dutch Wonderland for the day.

Terry and Steffy- any chance you are free Saturday late afternoon early evening? Thought maybe we could meet up for dinner or something if you are.
How do you do it, Robyn??? :faint:

Biggest news here is that Katie woke up at 5:00 spewing from both ends!!! Poor thing! We got her cleaned up and back to bed, and she's slept the day away. Of course it happens while Alan is gone! I'm just hoping that it bypasses the other kids, or runs its course quickly. Any spare pixie dust would be welcomed!
:wizard: I hope Katie is better in the morning and it stays away from the others.

Speaking of spewing from both ends, did you ever find that Magnetix, Kim???

Hi all caught up finally.

saw the dietician today. I found out that when you count your carbs you can subtract the amount of fiber from the total. I have found a bunch of low carb snacks to try. One being a sugar free strawberry angel food cake. It has 19 carbs but 2 fiber so it is actually 17 carbs. Olivia already had a piece and liked it. For Bedtime snacks I can have 30 carbs so I can have a slice and a small glass of milk.

Hi everyone. What a long, busy day. Monday is now our Religious Education night, at 6:30. So I rushed home from work, helped Nicholas get his homework done and fed them dinner. Then off to RE from 6:30-7:45. Since I didn't want to go back home I volunteered to assist with a 3rd grade class. I would have loved to be able to assist in Nicholas' room since he will be making his 1st Communion this year, but I got my name in too late and they already had a helper. Then after that it was home for showers and bed. Tomorrow we get to sleep in a bit because Alyssa has a follow-up appt. at the urologist in Richmond at 11AM. No sense in me going to work because with travel that will take up most of the day. I'm going back to catch up.

I hope that all goes well with the urologist. Do you feel like things are getting better?

By the way, you said earlier that you were ready for Fall? Well, I looked up at the mountain outside my window, and what do you think I saw??? Yup, the leaves are turning red and orange. Kind of pretty!

My MIL was over yesterday and said that she and her DH were going to be in FL for Christmas with DH's grandmother and they wanted to come to WDW to see us. Oh man. This isn't good. :headache:
Good luck with that, Kim! :wizard:

Heather - Your new signature pic is cute!:)

I spoke to DS. He had a good day but he has homework from 3 different teachers. DH was stopping at the grocery first, then they were headed home. DS said he told his Social Studies teacher that he has ADD and it is hard for him to write things over and over. He has to write 9 definitions 5 times each. He also said before he switched reading teachers that the teacher gave them classwork that was to draw up MORE of those sheets I printed on the computer for him.:headache: They hadn't used any of the 5 they drew up at home! Not such a big deal now that he isn't in that class, but we have GOT to have our 504 meeting! His modifications are FEDERAL LAW. The teachers don't get to tell him to do these assignments with absolutely no regard for the plan we have in place. He CAN'T spend 3 or 4 hours each night doing homework, and the teachers have no idea what the others have assigned. I don't want him to be able to skate by on things he could do, but they can't ignore his modifications, either.:headache: That's why we have his diagnosis documented. He CAN'T spend 7 hours at school and have 3 or 4 more hours of homework every night. Unacceptable.:sad2:
:grouphug: :grouphug:

we were woke up this morning by a puppy whining outside. It seems a puppy managed to find its way under our deck and could not seem to find its way out. So the whole house was up at 6:30 am. Olivia decided she did not want to go back to sleep. I think she took a 20 minute nap this afternoon. She is already out. Which is unusal for her she has been out for at least 30 minutes. I think I am going to have my snack and go to bed as well.

Jeff is off tomorrow so I am hoping to get a bunch of stuff done around here.

Sounds like you found some things you'll be able to live with for the next couple of months. You sound really upbeat!

Good night, everyone! I'm off to do the final tuck in, and then I'm going to bed myself.

I'm home from a fairly busy night at work. I've caught up. I actually just called WDW to see how much an upgrade to a moderate or deluxe would be for Chris and I in October. They told me that there is ONLY availability at Caribbean Beach or Port Orleans Riverside and there are NO passholder rates available anywhere. I can't believe that it is going to be that busy in October. We decided to just stay at POP even though we won't have a coffee maker or fridge, it's only 2 nights I think we can tough it out :lmao:

I hope you get back to your own self, Deb, especially before the weekend.

Chris and I each lost 50 lbs counting carbs. Of course we were limited to 20 carbs per day  If you have any questions we may be able to help out with that.

Thanks, Kim. I am. RE on Mondays, soccer on Tues, Thurs, Sat thru mid-Oct., dance on Fridays, and karate whenever we can squeeze it in. :sad2:
