So other than a very sore wrist and an aching leg I am okay today...couldn't sleep last night so napped through most of the Broncos game....until the last 2 minutes....Jason Elam kicked a field goal as time expired...they couldn't even get the net up behind the posts to catch it:upsidedow What a way to wake up!!:goodvibes So going to love Jay Cutler....cute, Denver native (I think) and already a way nicer guy than Plummer.

I absolutely cannot stand either team, so I suppose I couldn't care less (Sorry Jen!) :rolleyes1

don't care one way or another about the Giants... but do NOT like the Cowboys!

OK, get this! If I put in our dates 12/12-12/16 at AKL it gives me a Passholder rate AND it shows $75 Dining card included! When I put in a duplicate ressie for Pop 12/11-12/16 (what I currently have reserved) it does NOT say Dining card included! How bizarre! Maybe we should move to AKL.:rolleyes1

Elizabeth - there is limited availability for this offer so that may be why Pop is not available but AKL is. We could get AKL but not BC.

Eric has the 30gb video Ipod and loves it. The girls love it as well. He's had it for a while now and the novelty hasn't worn off yet. I want one desperately but can't justify the $$ when I am home 90% of the time and usually only listen to music in the car.
I just purchased a video cord for my ipod at Marshalls. It was around $8. It will allow me to hook up the ipod to a tv. Joe will just LOVE that he can watch the shows or Cars movie from my ipod on the TV at the resort. The ipod manual kept saying you needed a special ipod video cord. I suppose I should try the cord from my camera before I open the one I bought at Marshalls.

Does anyone know if I can burn the tv shows I purchased from itunes onto a DVD to watch in my DVD player?

Bernadette - I think Grad Nights are mostly attneded by FL residents. I could be wrong.

I just now managed to put 2 more suitcases away. I have one more that can go somewhere, I just need to decide where to put it. It is my carry-on, and I will need it for December. Theoretically. Supposing we have a workable ressie for December.:rolleyes1 I want the suitcase to be where I can grab it easily, not nested in a bigger suitcase and buried in the back of the closet.
I would REALLY like to go to WDW May 3 for that pin event. I am pretty sure my bosses aren't going to France until June, though, so I don't know if I could get the time off or not. Not to mention those flier miles are WAY harder to redeem than they should be!:rotfl:
One of my coworkers said she went to a grad night and she's from MA.

I have my suitcases all nested too. Its they only way I can do it as I can't put them in the basement as its a bit damp, we don't have an attic, Lizzy's room only has a little closet behind the stairs and a few suitcases are actually in that-one nested set is under her bed and another nested set is under Joe's bed.

SO...who would go 5/3? Just you? All 3 of you? You & DS? How long would you stay? I'm leaning toward the 5/4 to 5/9 dates.

Ok, back to work. I woke up in panic mode because my list of things to do before we leave Saturday is 3 miles long, and today is my last day off to accomplish any of it! I'm notoriously bad at getting things done after work.

Have a great evening!

Have a GREAT trip!!!!!

I thought you just had to check in sometime during the week of the offer.:confused3 Oh, I see. Your offer STARTS 11/11. Our week starts 12/9, so it is my understanding that you can check in any night that week for a minimum of 2 nights and get the card. It isn't worth a huge altercation, but it is kind of the principle of the thing. They have the offer out there and they are making it so confusing that not very many people are able to use the offer!:headache:
The FEX offer also includes a Disney Dining Card when you book a minimum 2 night stay within the following dates:

10/21 - 11/3
11/11 - 11/17
12/9 - 12/15
The Dining Card for Value Resort bookings is $20 (Code FFB), Moderate Resorts is $50 (Code FFC), Deluxe Resorts is $75 (Code FFD), DVC Resorts is $100 (Code FFE)

You really should qualify! I don't because my check in is 11/8.

The FEX code would not work for me when we tried to book it. The CM also tried FFD. No luck. She ended up being able to book it with CGA-FEQ.

Another interesting tidbit... She said it is not actually a Dining Card but a $75 credit on our room which would be usable only for dining.

I am SOOOOOO tempted to just book AKL and tell our friends they can do as they wish - move to AKL or stay at Pop. I just e-mailed to tell them we are having trouble with our reservation and may end up switching hotels. DH wants to switch to AKL. Hmm.:rolleyes1

We could not qualify any of our rooms at the BC because we are checking in on 10/18. But the check-in on 10/22 for 2 nights got the AP rate/Dining Card deal without a problem at AKL.

I think the rate for a Standard View was $165. Not bad at all! And that was not Value Season. ;) I say GO FOR IT!

With construction?

From what I can tell from the reports on the AKL thread, if you book carefully there is little or no impact at all. That is one reason we upped our room reservation to a Pool view since that should not be affected at all.

I guess I better go home now! I did get one big thing done here today so I'm glad I came in and it is SO quiet! I wore shorts, t, and flip flops as they turn off the AC on the weekends. I noticed when I got here that it was a lot cooler out than at my house. It is now about 60 out. I'm gonna freeze going to my car.

the usb cord...power and downloading can't happen without it!! But the battery lasted more than 24 hours without repowering.

is it not replaceable? or can a generic one from a digital camera work by some chance?

 it is still 86 here!

Weather.com says 62 at my office, 61 at my house and 80 in Orlando. Your hotter than Orlando. ;)

Did I tell you guys how nice & quiet it is here? I think I'm the only one other than security. I guess I really have to go home now as I'm not getting any more work done.
