Gotta share my foot/ankle/calves/thighs/back situation. Down in Baltimore, I had on shoes and suffered. The day at Dutch Wonderland, had on Crocs, great day. Today, shoes, I'm in pain. Tomorrow, Crocs!!!!!!
Tom, I'm posting after midnight, so take that into consideration!
FWIW, I would keep CP. even at 5:30. I'd get there a tad early and be out before the party started. I would look at my sheet so I could time out everything I wanted to see while I was sipping my coffee, waiting for the check.
I would have an idea of what was important. What would I feel I missed if I didn't see it.
Oh I wasn't going to go tell her. I'm pretty sure she'll ask but she's more likely to see DH than me. He can tell her I was the one who made the call. I am the one who works at the National Fire Protection Association after all.....
I can't believe with how dry things are that people are still burning. Are they out of their minds? Do they not realize how fast fires can get out of control?
Bernadette -- aren't there any "no burning" laws in your area? Around here we have had a ban on burning because it has bee so dry. If that ban is in place, there should have been no reason NOT to call! I would not worry about it. I think you had a reason to be concerned.

I hope everything is done and ready to go so we have an easy morning. Nicholas is excited, Alyssa is nervous but excited too. He promised to take care of his sister on the bus in the morning, so that's a bit of a relief for me.
Here is how I'm feeling now. Have you heard this before?
Dear World:
I bequeath to you today one little girl...
I trust you'll treat her well.
I had the most relaxing time this weekend. Made Chicken Pot Pie on Saturday and Carol made Zucchini Lasagna on Sunday. I will write more tomorrow and post a picture of the puppies.
The bus almost drove past our house this morning.
The driver said that after a three day weekend, she has to get used to doing this again. It is a good thing that we were outside waiting. She totally forgot that she added our house as an extra stop!
