Bernadette -- First of all... HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!! Also, your pictures of the castle were spectacular!

Thank you!

Does your new camera have image stabilization? I took those photos without a tripod. I thought the ones from May were a bit better. I had a gorilla pod on my camera in May that I just used at an extra hand hold.

I think I should make DH a card  so I need to take a break for a while...

It does have image stabilization. It was one of my criteria when looking for a new one! So did both the Canons I had previously so I am sure it had kicked in when I took that fountain picture 2 years ago at night.

Thanks for all the compliments on the TR & photos! I hope to work on it between laundry today. I've got 2 loads of winter stuff left over from last week and this weeks stuff.

We have a contractor coming today that will be doing our roof. Our porch roof over the front door is rotting so we really need to take care of that. He's going to put a couple of gutters up on the roof over the porch to make sure we don't have the same problem again. We are also going to do the rest of the roof. It wasn't as much as I had feared. We're also getting a new screen door on the front door. I've hated that thing since we moved in 23 years ago. It was old then. We're getting one with a self storing screen. We had another bid that nearly the same and this guy put an addition on my MIL's house so we feel good about him.

Today is soccer too so lots of running around.

It's our 23rd anniversary and we aren't sure if we'll go out or just get take out-probably take out after all those soccer games.

Tomorrow is the mother/daughter girl scout tea for Lizzy & I and my SIL is here from St Louis.

Happy Anniversary Bernadette

I am so excited, I finally made the decision to get new luggage. I have really wanted the Mickey luggage but was just not sure I wanted to spend the $$. I finally justified the $20 per bag and was ready to order it last night. I was checking my email and noticed I had received a new email from Disney.com and it was advising of 20% off items. I went on site and chose the color I wanted (taupe) and put in the code and to my surprise, got the 20% off. So with taxes, shipping and the 20% discount, I got the set for $61.52 :woohoo: :woohoo: :thumbsup2

Terry - Yay for luggage!

I put away one more suitcase today. Now the only one in the hallway is my carry on. I really need to stick it in my closet or something.:rolleyes1
I have 2 loads of laundry left to wash, but I think I have made tremendous progress! DS won't have to go to school naked on Monday.;)

Evening everyone!

Bernadette I love your pictures! I do not really care for Stitch, but those are my favorite, so cute! Good luck with the roof & new door & HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!

Anne Marie hope you can get the air fare figured out :wizard:

Kim sounds like you are having a rough day  Hope your boys settle down soon. Trust me I understand what you are going through

Elizabeth good luck with the new neighbors, hope they are good ones ;)

Terry congratulations on your luggage! I bought the red set a couple of years ago & I love it. It made it through our trip to Europe, but does have a few battle marks

Debbie so happy to hear the weather changed & the sun was shining for you today :goodvibes

Sorry if I missed anyone :wizard: &

:wave2: everyone.

Mom and Dawn are now completly up here. All that needs to be done is clean the old place and slowly move and empty all the boxes that John and I have been storing.

After the parade we found the perfect spot to watch the fireworks in the front of the castle. The girls and I had our photo taken while we waited. Joe was getting tired and wanted to leave but I told him we were going to watch the fireworks. He was in Emma’s stroller so he was nice and comfy. We had the perfect view to watch Tinker Bell fly from the castle. When she didn’t fly at the beginning of the fireworks like she normally does I thought she wouldn’t be part of the special fireworks but instead she flew in the middle of the program and it was really quite spectacular. The kids were very excited to see her. In some of the photos you can see the pirate skull projected on the castle. After the fireworks we found a bench to relax on while we let crowds disperse a bit before we left the park. The girls wanted to do a few rides but Joe was quite miserable so we left-getting one last pirate family photo before we left the park.

Bernadette, those are some amazing photos of the castle and fireworks. Did you have a tripod or are you that steady???

Bernadette, wanna come along in Jan. and be my photographer? :teeth:

I should have warned you about those questions. ;) I'm glad that your experience was good. Mine on the other hand was not. My kids were awful and this teacher is going to be about the same as the last two we've had. I still haven't decided the best way to handle it but I'm not thrilled to say the least. We were leaving when you were coming in that's why you didn't see me. Probably wasn't the best thing to introduce me then anyway because I was super mad and I wouldn't want to give Bob the impression that I'm like that. I'm only like that half the time. Mostly the half that my kids are home. :rotfl2:
:lmao:

Yes I forgot to mention this, those pictures are awesome!
