The DDA Trouble Free Zone Part 25

Well, so far, so good! I've been up for a couple of hours, did a load of laundry, a load of dishes, and got the kids off for their last day of school.

I guess I shouldn't say "day". It's more like their last hour and a half of school. I don't understand why they only have to go for an hour and a half. They will be given their promotion cards, and attend a flag retreat ceremony, and then they'll come home. Oh well. They enjoy it!

So they can meet their number of school days? I love the way they stretch every single loop hole.

What a great honor for your grandmother! Sounds like the house was meant to be. What a tragic story.



We are trying to plan a trip and every time we pick a date something comes up. We were hoping to do around Thanksgiving but it's not gonna happen with all the stuff we need to do around the house and me taking off the entire summer. So in trying to minimize Emma's time off from school it looks like next summer will be it!!

Yeah it's really much cuter in real life!

I hope it works out Hopefully there will be a whole bunch of us there. Wouldn't it be fun. I think we need a grand gathering coordinator

I just showed Gary & he said it looks very cool! So I know we will be going to US again in the near future!

Chuck and I decided the same thing today. After this opens, I will HAVE to go to Universal at least once. My Harry Potter addiction is almost as strong as my Disney addiction.

Wow, that concert was much longer than we expected. Nick did awesome. I don't think he missed a beat (he plays drum). He played the bass drum on the first 2 songs and the snare on the last 2 He looked cool in his Mickey duds too. Hunter took pictures so i have no idea if there will be any that aren't blurry.

I don't think that she does sell them. I think that you just have to be lucky enough to have her pick you to get one.

She is simply amazing to watch, and she does say some funny things. She really looks like she is enjoying every minute of it.

Things are crazy busy but I've been missing all of you so decided to take some time tonight to hang out with you all. Mom, my brother & nephew left last night. I've been trying to catch up at work. I really should be working but just couldn't look at it any longer.

Chuck & I were supposed to go to Ludington (downstate) this week-end for my cousin's kids graduation. However, the person that I've been training with so that we would be interchangeable if needed lost his mother today. He'll be off next week. They've requested I come to Lansing for the week. That really sucks because Tuesday is my 25th wedding anniversary. I talked to Chuck though and he knows that I'll be stressed and won't really enjoy our time together. That also means that it doesn't make sense for us to go downstate. So I'll be going downstate by myself for the graduation and then head to Lansing straight from there.

Please make time for yourself. Life is way to short to spend so much time stressing over work. Work is certainly not what you will think of on your death bed. I'm glad that you are here with us tonight. I think we may need to drag you back full time
