I have been fine, but busy.
We're off to pick Nick up from his first overnight scout trip without Deb and I.

Yesterday was a long day! I went to work, left to go to Riley's game(they lost 6-8 ), went back to work to finish up. Came home for about an hour & then took Garrett to his game. His team has to show up an hour before start of game, so I went to the grocery store. Dropped the grocery's off at home & went back to the game. Garrett's team won 5-3 We were all starting to think neither team was going to score as neither team did score till the 5th inning! It was a great game though. Finally got home around 9:45, ate some supper, took a shower & fell out

Here's the first draft of our Design for Breakfast at O'Hana, I know the edges are really rough but I figure scissors will fix that.

So here's a new decision I need to make,

We arrive on 9/03 with our DGS, he is a Pirate fan, and there is a P & P party that night. It is the last party and I'm afaid it will be really crowed and I'm also afraid we'll be kind of tired after traveling that day. It may be possible to sneak in a nap after we arrive but it's not a sure thing.

Do you think you would take him or not? I'm undecided about this one.

Glad to hear that Nick felt up to his camping trip, I love the second design Deb. Aren't you the one who made the really cool chrome Cars designs? Are you going to make those?

I think if we do decide to go to the P&P party I'll make DGS a shirt that says,

"Forget the Princesses, I'm a Pirate and I'm here to party!"

We got home a little after 9 tonight. After getting the kids settled down and into bed I started unloading and unpacking. That is going to be a 3 day project I can tell. Then I uploaded my photos and looked at my photopass ones. I can't wait to share some of them with you, but it will have to wait a day or two. Tomorrow I am going to be busy and don't know if I will be around much.

Our trip was wonderful, except the part about missing our flight to MCO last Saturday. More on that in the next day or two. The weather was gorgeous, not a drop of rain, althought it did get pretty hot the last 4 days or so. We had such a good time and got everything accomplished that we wanted too, except I never did catch up with Stephanie. I'm sorry Stephanie!!! But on the upside, Jennifer spotted us today while we were strolling around Fantasyland. It was nice to meet her and Kyle and she is just like what I imagined her to be.

Since I need to be up at 6:30 tomorrow I will say good night and hopefully I will be able to catch up with you all soon. I've missed everyone!

Deb, do you know those are pins? We have the Mickey & Donald ones. I wonder if you could find a picture of the Minnie pin that goes with the others? Although I think you did a great job on the Minnie you have!

I did know that they were pins, but I didn't like the minnie one. They always make her look pretty and helpless and I wouldn't ever consider a pirate helpless

Honeys, I'm home!!!!
I actually got home really late last night, but today was spent with the family resting.. going to get the grand pug ug: from the sitter, getting groceries, and watching Greys Anatomy and Desperate Housewifes


The trip was a blast. We had some issues with our park tickets and the dining plan, but everything was eventually fixed. Next time I will not try to transfer park tickets from one resort to another. It was just too confusing. Plus, we had my Dsil and my DGS with the same name, and me and my DDil with the same name.

The men in my group (including the 3 year old) couldn't get a break. The gate CMs acted like we were theives trying to break into the parks. It was brutal. I spent hours, and I'm not exagerating one minute, at the front desk trying to get our tickets fixed. By Wednesday, only my Dsil's ticket was unreadable. His park ticket no longer has his name. It just says ADULT. Couldn't transfer it over to the room key to save a tree. Oh well.

I must focus on the adoarable memories. Baby K loves me. He'll walk over and actually lift his little face up for me to kiss.

The grand villa got plenty of WOWs!!! I appologized for the squalard, crampled condition of the 3 bedroom, 4 bathroom, living room, dining room, kitchen, foyer, balcony, jazzuci tub and closets galore!! little resort I put them up in. Not one complaint about sleeping arrangements.

The grandchildren had a blast, plenty of space to roll around in. We put our two computers on the round desk in the Living Room, and still had an entire long dining table in the dining room to eat on. It was quite nice. A view of Illuminations through the trees. Nice touch for those days we were back by 9:00pm.

The best highlight for me was the diver at the Coral Reef holding a sign to celebrate my son and daughter-in-law's anniversary. Very, very, nice.

Breakfast with the Little Einsteins had great character intereaction and won the contest for worse food by a landslide.

Well, my eyes are closing. I'll give you some more highlights tomorrow. The tshirts were a big hit, Kristine! My DS and DDIL wore them out to dinner!!!

Nite DDA. I'll read some tomorrow.

Sounds like a wonderful trip. I'm glad that all your planning paid off. It gives the rest of us overplanners hope

I can't wait to hear about the trips and moves and parties etc. Good thing I'm not working tonight. Of course I do need to fit in the Amazing Race Finally.

I did make the Cars design for our trip. The boys wouldn't have it any other way I like the saying for your Pirate/Princess shirts, can't wait to see the design.

Thanks Debbie! Okay, for us in the things we would have done differently... we would have gone to the MK for extra magic hours, even though it was our arrival day. If he loves pirates, I think I'd go to the party. You can always rest the next morning, but he will probably be up and ready anyway. He'll be in Disney World. His schedule will be shot, but he'll be there and having fun.

My DGS3 very much enjoyed the nights where he was out in the world playing. Even when he fell asleep and missed dinner! All they can talk about is when we go back.

Well, I've got a ton of stuff to do today. I still haven't unpacked my suitcase. The mail is seriously a foot high. And I need to find my warranties, my owners manuals, my floor plans and other stuff for my condo. Gotta upload my pictures and have them printed at Costco.

Gotta stop in and visit my friends in failing health. Gotta find my Dad. He hasn't answered the phone all week.

Nick loved the campout though he is very tired now. They did a lot and he made good progress toward his tenderfoot rank. He is happy.
