I just got home from work. My bosses really enjoyed "Wicked". They said Brother was a demon all day today, but by the time I got there he was in their bed watching TV and he was asleep about 15 minutes later.

I used to love babysitting jobs that worked like that!!

So I saw earlier that I was close to this so since I couldn't sleep....I waited for this:

:dance3: :dance3: 8,000:dance3: :dance3:

I couldn't have made it the last month without you all!!

This is the best bunch of women and men that I have ever had the pleasure of knowing....I hope to meet all of you in person some time in my life.

Thanks for bringing a smile to my face every day!!

Theresa - I hope the rest of the move-in goes well! The broken key sounds like quite a problem. A hundred years ago my friend and I were at a bar. She put her car key in her shoe so she wouldn't have to carry her purse inside. The key broke in half. So there we were, stuck in the parking lot. Some very nice police officers helped us get the door open. They didn't ask us what we were doing at the bar, so perhaps they didn't notice we were underage. :rolleyes1 The car had a different key for the ignition than for the door, so we were able to leave after that.

My other key story is the time we were in Honda Pilot that was on loan to us from the dealership as part of a charity event. I wasn't driving - I was in the back with DS. We stopped at the end of the parade route, but we were sort of blocking the floats coming in behind us. The police asked us to move, but the key had completely disappeared. We ended up having to go to the dealership in another car to get another key. They never found the first key, as far as I know. And that dealership never sponsored again, either! :rotfl2:

I am off to bed. Or to "couch" since DS is in my bed. DH is going to work in a couple of hours, so I will just make DS scoot over when DH gets up.

Speaking of DH and work, Toad really is gone! Her last day was a week ago!

Honeys, I'm home!!!! :dance3: :dance3:

I actually got home really late last night, but today was spent with the family resting.. going to get the grand pug :pug: from the sitter, getting groceries, and watching Greys Anatomy and Desperate Housewifes!!:happytv: :happytv:

And Charm School, but I can't admit to that Mindless Entertainment

The trip was a blast. We had some issues with our park tickets and the dining plan, but everything was eventually fixed. Next time I will not try to transfer park tickets from one resort to another. It was just too confusing. Plus, we had my Dsil and my DGS with the same name, and me and my DDil with the same name.

The men in my group (including the 3 year old) couldn't get a break. The gate CMs acted like we were theives trying to break into the parks. It was brutal. I spent hours, and I'm not exagerating one minute, at the front desk trying to get our tickets fixed. By Wednesday, only my Dsil's ticket was unreadable. His park ticket no longer has his name. It just says ADULT. Couldn't transfer it over to the room key to save a tree. Oh well.

I must focus on the adoarable memories. Baby K loves me. He'll walk over and actually lift his little face up for me to kiss.

The grand villa got plenty of WOWs!!!:yay: :yay: :yay: I appologized for the squalard, crampled condition of the 3 bedroom, 4 bathroom, living room, dining room, kitchen, foyer, balcony, jazzuci tub and closets galore!! little resort I put them up in. :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 Not one complaint about sleeping arrangements. :cloud9: :cloud9:

The grandchildren had a blast, plenty of space to roll around in. We put our two computers on the round desk in the Living Room, and still had an entire long dining table in the dining room to eat on. It was quite nice. A view of Illuminations through the trees. Nice touch for those days we were back by 9:00pm.

The best highlight for me was the diver at the Coral Reef holding a sign to celebrate my son and daughter-in-law's anniversary. Very, very, nice.

Breakfast with the Little Einsteins had great character intereaction and won the contest for worse food by a landslide. :headache:

Well, my eyes are closing. I'll give you some more highlights tomorrow. The tshirts were a big hit, Kristine! My DS and DDIL wore them out to dinner!!!

Nite DDA. I'll read some tomorrow.

Thanks for being relatively quiet yesterday! I had visions of spending the first hour or so this morning catching up. ;)

WELCOME HOME, TAMMI & STEPHANIE (and I assume TERRY TOO!)

Elizabeth - I am so glad you got a new kitty.

Deb - LOVE the new designs... great job on Minnie!

Theresa - how did it feel to wake up in your own home this morning? :)

Karen - I think a gift certificate to allow your friend and her DH to go out to dinner would be a wonderful graduation gift.

Bernadette - If you are still here... HAVE A WONDERFUL TIME!

Speaking of designing. Here are a couple that I've been playing with

The second one is the one that we will probably use. I like the first except I think we would only wear it to the party where as the second design we would wear multiple times. Did you know that there is no Pirate Minnie clipart? That is a pirate mickey transformed :rotfl: I think it came out pretty cute.

Deb
Those are great! Your pirate Minnie is awesome!!!!

Tomorrow we're off to the Cardinals game!! YIPPEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Terra is so excited that she can hardly wait. We got her a shirt to wear today and she can't wait to wear that and her hat. She probably would have put it on already, but didn't want to take off her new Jasmine swimsuit that she also got today. I have been promising to buy it for her when they go on sale. Luckily for me, that was just in time to have it to take to CA so I didn't have to break down and pay full price.

Have a great Sunday everyone!
Have fun at the game! Congrats on getting the swimsuit on sale.

I'm going to have an awesome Sunday.

So we got a bit moved today....in between Jim breaking the truck key and rain storms.

We had a washer and dryer delivered (Grandma paid for it.....guilt buying...she doesn't say sorry she just pays for something...don't get me wrong I appreciated it and said so...the sorry would have been more welcome).

We went out for a celebration dinner and to American Furniture Warehouse and made Jimmy scared stiff again....:rotfl: . Chose a new sofa, kitchen table and chairs, entertainment center, computer desk, area rug (that's the biggest oops on our part....the carpet is quite stained) and DVD tower. We did well and spent only $850 for all of it. He just hates making decision that fast.
Congrats on the move!!

We got home a little after 9 tonight. After getting the kids settled down and into bed I started unloading and unpacking. That is going to be a 3 day project I can tell. Then I uploaded my photos and looked at my photopass ones. I can't wait to share some of them with you, but it will have to wait a day or two. Tomorrow I am going to be busy and don't know if I will be around much.

Our trip was wonderful, except the part about missing our flight to MCO last Saturday. More on that in the next day or two. The weather was gorgeous, not a drop of rain, althought it did get pretty hot the last 4 days or so. We had such a good time and got everything accomplished that we wanted too, except I never did catch up with Stephanie. :guilty: :sad1: I'm sorry Stephanie!!! But on the upside, Jennifer spotted us today while we were strolling around Fantasyland. It was nice to meet her and Kyle and she is just like what I imagined her to be. :goodvibes

Since I need to be up at 6:30 tomorrow I will say good night and hopefully I will be able to catch up with you all soon. I've missed everyone!
Welcome home!

Can't wait to see photos when I get home!

Carry on is all packed. It all fit better than I had feared but I did end up putting Pal Mickey in my checked bag. Hope he's OK in there. I couldn't find my Donald Duck hat so that was driving me crazy but I just found it. :donald:

I think we're going to have Mickey waffles for breakfast and then I'll leave the house around 10:15.

Have a great week everyone! I'll be sure to take lots of photos.

Glad you found your hat, Bernadette. Have fun! :wave2:

I have been trying to upload some pictures from Kathrin's new apartment. Photobucket keeps telling me they are "successfully uploaded" but there is a small part of the picture at the top and the rest is a gray mass. And when I try to resize them it doesn't appear to be working properly either! So, here is what I can get on here so far.

In the city of Richmond there is a street called Monument Avenue. It is a 4-lane downtown avenue with a large median in the middle. In that median are statues to famous Virginians (those by birth or those by "adoption"). Her apartment is on a boulevard that intersects Monument Avenue and Stonewall Jackson's monument sits right outside her apartment!

It was a rainy day, so the pictures do not do it justice.
