Hey guys, I figured I'd better stop in so you all know that I'm fine. I was in Lansing this week. Since my laptop display went out, I couldn't DIS in the evenings. I am crazy busy on the project at work. I worked all hours of the day and night. It is going very well but there is lots that needs to be done as quickly as possible. Once things get underway, it shouldn't be so bad.

I don't know that I'll be around much this week-end either. We are working on the house and camper getting the house ready for graduation and the camper ready for camping.

I hope that all are well. Here's some pixiedust: for those that need it.

morning all. well the Headache is slightly better today. So I decided to skip the march of dimes walk today.

100 days til Disney!!!!!!!!!:woohoo: :yay:

Yay!! We're at 96 days!:cool1:

I just got a call from the potential employer! This is very bizarre - her DH works for Dadboss!:rotfl2: She said Dadboss always says really nice things about me to her DH and she is convinced that they couldn't ask for a better applicant. So that's terrific! She said her current nanny is kind of deciding this weekend whether she wants to keep her hours or give up her job, but there is also the factor that her English fluency isn't very good. That is causing some issues with their DD6 because the nanny really can't read to her and help her with her homework. So let's hope that she decides to bow out gracefully and go spend some time with her new baby, and I can work out somethng with this family to be my new employers. I hope I like them!

Good morning, Jennifer! I am glad you are feeling a little better! It is probably good that you decided to skip the walk. I think a day of rest would do you good. I did a 5K when I was pregnant with DS. DH told me it was only a mile or so. HA! It was over 3 miles! That was in the days before I was on the planning committee for the AIDS walk so I didn't know how far it was. I completed the walk, but I wasn't happy about it!

I think the walk was 2 miles not sure. But another reason I decided to skip it is when I get hot the nausea comes back full force. So I figured I should not chance it.

Good morning, DDA!

Welcome home, Jennifer! Hope you guys had a great trip!

We're going to look at kittens when DH gets home from work. Still nothing from the potential employer. I think we must have some sort of funny e-mail system incompatibility. I guess I could just send her a follow-up e-mail from my other account to be sure she gets my message.

I would. I'm kind of paranoid that way! I'd either use your other email account or call her on the phone to make sure she got your resume.

I'm so glad that you checked in! I was about ready to send out the troops for you! Good luck with your projects, both work and home!

I think that's a good idea, Jennifer. You gotta take care of yourself!

Wow! I guess Texas isn't that big after all!!!:rotfl:

Seriously, I hope that all works out for you. You haven't sounded this excited in quite a while! I'm crossing my fingers for you!

Ladies How soon did you start showing with your second pregnancy? I kinda noticed it last week. But I really noticed it on Thurs. I had put a skirt on non maternity and you could definitely tell I was pregnant. I saw my chiropractor on Thur and he asked me how far I was, he asked me if I was 5 months. I am 14 weeks today.

That sounds about right to me! With Jacob (my second) I remember wearing maternity pants a lot earlier than with Katie. With the twins, I was in maternity pants at about 2 and a half months. Everyone is different.

June 21st is when I will find out what I am having.

I bet you can't wait!

I know this doesn't really mean anything, but I carried Katie really high. In fact, I felt all bruised on my ribs, because she would drum on them. Really hard!

With Jacob, I carried very low. Extremely low! From about month 3 on, he was very firmly settled head down, and ready!

I haven't had an interview in awhile!:rotfl2: And it really takes a lot of the excitement out of the August trip, knowing that the ticker is also ticking away the time I have left at my job.:guilty: I am encouraged about this family since they have already heard good things about me, and it wasn't like Dadboss was trying to market me to them, he was just talking to his co-workers.

I thought we already agreed it is a boy?;) I carried DS ALL in front, like I was trying to shoplift a basketball. But he was up pretty high, even when I went into labor. And I had the super-dark line coming down from my belly button. It was so dark if I wore light colored pants you could see it through the fabric.:scared:

So, are you ready for verse #2 of "Small World"? When DH & I first got married I worked retail management. The lady in charge of the cat rescue group we just met with used to be one of my part-time employees! She was still in high school then. I saw her name on my Caller ID and I wondered if it was her. Her married name is on her cell, but her home phone is her maiden name. So when we got to Petsmart she came out to meet us and it was her!:rotfl: We always got along really well - I loved working with her. So we chose a very sweet little multi-colored kitty and we will pick her up tomorrow! I am so happy that we decided to go through this rescue group!:goodvibes

Congrats on the new kitty! I can't wait to see her picture.

I'm home. Had a really wonderful trip!!! Perfect combination of friends to share experiences with but also time to myself to go at my own pace and do what I wanted.

Took lots of photos. I've got them all on my PC but haven't uploaded any yet.

I'm really tired. A Disney vacation can be exhausting. Our flight was delayed a bit coming home so I didn't get to bed til almost 1 am and Emma was up sick around 2 am so I'm working on very little sleep right now. Joe was sick while I was away. Emma seems OK now. She has had toast and dry cheerios and is playing happily. Joe also lost a tooth while I was gone. He was very excited about that. Now he has a big hole in his smile. :) Lizzy never had that look as her new teeth always came in before she lost her baby teeth. His other top front tooh is very loose too.

I hope I can catch up soon, post a few photos and do a mini trip report.

Hope all is well with all.
