:wizard: for your contract Elizabeth & :wizard: for Karens brother too!

OK. :wizard: Karen's Brother - Be gone with you!;)

I got the first draft of the contract from my new bosses today. They pasted portions of my current contract into it, so it looks pretty familiar!:rotfl: It is missing a couple of clauses pertaining to sick days and vacations that I want to have clarified but other than that it looks good. (Vacation and sick days are in there, it is just a tiny bit vague.) I called my friend to read my e-mail response to her before I sent it, and she happened to be in the car with another nanny. They both thought the response was fine, not pushy or snippy, so hopefully my new bosses will incorporate the changes and be done with it. This is the part whrere I have had a job blow up in my face before, so if anyone has a bit of Pixie Dust to help me get over the hump I would appreciate it. :flower3:

Becky -thanks for the update on Aidan!

Sounds like you had a wonderful day Tom!

Well I spent the afternoon going back to my old stomping ground (about 2 hours north of where I live now). I needed to put some flowers on my Dad's headstone, and I thought this would be the opportunity to show Leighanna where I grew up.

Hope your burn is not to bad Anne Marie!

Hi all,
Just got home from the beach. We saw the annual memorial day air show. Very impressive. The kids played & the weather was great. I sunscreened everyone up but me & I am crispy-fried now.

Guess I am done talking to myself now :rotfl:

This has been a long day! I took Garrett to his scrimage game & it started pouring, so it was canceled. I brought him home & went to work. I was ready to leave work around 3pm & the skys opened up & it rained so hard. The wind was blowing just right & we soon had a flood in our building. We had water everywhere. Between the wet vac & mopping, my back is not to happy right now. It was still raining when I left so I came home. Once it stopped I went to the grocery store. When I left the store I realized I forgot milk  So I stopped by work. There was a lady there that had left her wallet on the counter & it was nowhere to be found. So I went in the office & watched the video. The lady had left her wallet on the counter & the customer behind her scooped it up, just like it was hers. I called the police & had to wait for them. Finally after about an hour I was able to leave. I only needed a gallon of milk :rotfl: The police took the tape so they could view it better & the lady had a good description of the person that took her wallet. I really hope they catch up with her!

Ok I feel better now & the Fuzzy Navel I am drinking tastes pretty good :thumbsup2

Acording to my OB no, it is more dangerous to newborns, as they have not had thier DTP shot yet. I am going to call Olivia's Pedi on tues. as I think the office is closed Mon. anf=d let them know as she has had a runny nose for for about 2 weeks and a cough about a week. she felt a little warm during the night but I did not take her temp. as it was 3 in the morning. I will see if they want to give her Antibiotics. The antibiotics they gave me are a Z-pac

My mother had whooping cough last winter. She caught it at the high school that she works at. We all had to go on the Z pac just to make sure that we wouldn't get it. It took my mother months to fully get over it. I hope that you don't have it as I think it would make your pregnancy much more difficult. I'm pretty sure that Olivia will also be put on meds and your husband should too. Anyone that you have a lot of contact with.

alcohol has a way of making things better :lmao: Chocolate has that effect on me too :thumbsup2 I ended my day with a piece of rasberry cheesecake, vanilla ice cream and hot fudge. I figured if I was going to be bad I might as well be really bad. I do however plan to get back on track. My goal is to lose 12 lbs in the next 8 weeks. I need to make room to gain at WDW :rotfl:

We got a tremendous amount accomplished here today. It feels really good. You are all going to think I'm a big dork, but I've got most of our Disney Outfits packed :goodvibes I had bought new shorts (or bathing suits) on clearance at the end of last summer. The shirts that I designed go with the new shorts so I'm packing them that way everything will be nice and new for the trip. Chris decided that we should just wear plain white T-shirts with one set of shorts so that means one less design to do. I also ordered Mickey Hawaiian shirts from Disneyshopping and I'm waiting for one that I had to size exchange to arrive then those will be set too. So at days end I just need to make new tie dye shirts since the boys grew out of theirs. I think I'll do a blue tie dye for myself as I can't find a royal blue shirt to match the boys. At least I feel like I know where I'm at. We will each have 8 outfits which means I will need to do laundry, but a lot less luggage. I'm thinking we may be able to do 2 suitcases plus our carryons. That would mean we could rent a smaller car.

Tomorrow morning we are taking the boys to a fishing derby. Then I have to be at work at 3PM. I guess the day is already shot ;) Hopefully I will get a lot done on Monday too. The restaurant is closed so I have the whole day off.

Oh that sounds good! We have to treat ourselves once in awhile :goodvibes

Nope you're not a dork! I think it is great that you are getting some of the packing done. Just that much less to stress about when you get closer to leaving.

Have fun at the fishing derby tomorrow! Ours is tomorrow as well, hopefully the rain will stay away long enough.

I just put a second load of laundry in the wash & got the dishes done. I did vacuum when I got home, but thats about it for cleaning today.

what a stinker!! I hope Olivia is okay...how inconsiderate of your co worker.

Theresa. I just found better car rental rates. I am now booked for 22 days with Alamo in a mid sized SUV for $551. I used the Walmart Code 430710, rate/product code BY and a $25 BJs coupon. It's still not as low as I'm hoping for, but it is getting better :thumbsup2

Thanks! Me, too!
My current agreement was drafted by Momboss (an attorney), so it is VERY detailed. Obviously they don't want the contract to be the size of a phone book, but I kind of like having all the details in there. The less that is open for interpretation, the better!

:wizard: that it goes off without a hitch

I'll try that....I can't believe in 8 weeks we will finally meet!!:goodvibes

I'm playing with the code you gave me plus I have an Entertainment book...right now it's a little less than $100

taxes on things just drive me nuts...they upped the rental cost up by 1/5
