Deb -- each resort has their own "grocery" part of the food court (not great, but has all the necessities). You can preorder from there (through MS), and the things will be in your room.

More often, DISers use either www.gardengrocer.com or www.wegoshop.com with rave reviews. Those link you to whole grocery stores worth of choices, with the same or better pricing. That variety and pricing might be especially nice for your long stay!

Since we were good yesterday and got our work done I promised DH a day off today . .

I invited our DD and DGS over for lunch, we are going to grill burgers. Althoug if I have to cook and clean up afterwards that's really not a day off.

Well, with one phone call (yes Kathrin is also a morning person!) my day has changed! I am headed to the shower to get ready to drive to Richmond for a day of shopping and lunch at a great mall... Short Pump Center. It has most of my favorite stores, including COLDWATER CREEK and Nordstrom's.

My house is a mess. Still have a ton of laundry. Didn't get to sleep until 1am - now am up for the SECOND bridal shower (for Christine, my friend I've known from High School). Thank goodness I'm not hosting this one!
I can't wait until next Saturday to where I can sleep in!


....now I have to find something else to wear! I wore my pink shirt yesterday! HA!

Good morning It is going to be another beautiful day here. I have nothing to do today, so I am going to enjoy the warm weather & try to get some sun(hopefully not a sunburn). We are going to cook out later, hamburgers & hotdogs. Should be a relaxing day.

I am trying to talk DS into a trip to the zoo with me. It is beautiful weather! I need to have DH go get propane for the grill. We have gone far too long without grilling!

Update on Aidan:

What a great day it was today! We actually got to touch our son WITHOUT gloves! They are now allowing parents to actually touch their children without any sort of plastic barrier. We still must wear the gowns, but we actually get to feel their soft skin.

He is also off of all assisted oxygen, and is tolerating his new feedings quite well. According to his staff they are very pleased with his progress and it looks like the week after next we will be going back down for his last surgery. This will be the time that they re-connect and we can then work towards feeding and coming home.

We posted some new pictures from today's visit. {Hope Mac doesn't mind!}

That is great news. It looks like Aiden is a very happy little boy in the arms of his daddy

Thanks for the info. I knew about wegoshop and gardengrocer, but didn't know about preordering from the onsight convenience store. I am really hoping to have a car for the whole trip so I think I'll just hit a publix or the superwalmart for the items that we will need. the first week I think we will only need snack/breakfast items as I booked DDP I'll be so sick of eating out by the end of that week so I will have to shop and will look forward to making meals in the villa after that week.

I'm glad that most of you are having great weather today. We have rain and it isn't too warm either. Hunter has his bowling tournament this afternoon so that will give us something to do Then we'll hit the SuperWalmart for some groceries before we come home.

We put some training wheels on Hunter's old bike yesterday and now Colby is hooked. All he wants to do is ride that bike around the yard. It's still a little big for him, but with the training wheels he is doing fine.

So I had a huge multi quote post going and then it somehow got deleted. So even though I've read everything it really seems like a blur to me.

It sounds like most everyone is having a good weekend. For those that aren't here's some that it improves.

We went to the zoo yesterday and it was the perfect day. The weather was gorgeous and it wasn't terribly crowded when we were there. By the time we left though it was packed. The girls had a great time and both of them cracked me up as we had to stop and read every bit of info on all the animals.
The girls loved seeing the pandas, especially the new baby Tai Shan.

Of course he was napping...Thankfully he will be here another 2 years so we can go back to visit him.

Here is his daddy, Tian Tian, who was also napping. Molly wanted to wait there until he woke up. It sure didn't look like any time soon. Mommy was also napping but you could only see the very tip of her as she was near the top of their habitat.

And the funniest thing is that no matter where we go or what we happen to read or watch on TV, the name Lucy has popped up everywhere. It's actually quite freaky but Molly found Lucy the goat yesterday!

Not much on the agenda today other than getting caught up on the housework and stuff. I need to get Emma packed for tonight and tomorrow as my inlaws are keeping her overnight. I predict an early bed time as Eric and I have to be up at 3:30am to get ready to leave here by 4:45am. Have a great Sunday everyone!!
