Elizabeth -- did y'all get any of the thunderstorms last night? Kaufman missed most of it, until around 10 or so. We got rain and a little wind, but not much.

We got several waves of wind and hard rain, but nothing horrible. And no hail, which is good since the car wasn't parked in the covered part!

If you all could send some DDA pixie dust my way, I would appreciate it. Nicholas is supposed to have a soccer game tonight, which would be his last, since he will miss 3 while we are gone. However, they are calling for passing T-storms, which could cancel his game. He really wants to get to play tonight, so I'm hoping that the rain holds off.

No rain!!:wizard:

Hope Terra is feeling better and that she doesn't get sick again. :wizard:

I hope Terra is over her vomit virus!:wizard: I hate those!

Sorry I dropped off last night. My body decided to throw a kidney stone at me! So, I had a horrible night! I don't think it's passed, yet, but at least it's moved to a better area. Yuck! In case anyone is keeping count, this is stone #19 since 1992. Have I mentioned how much I hate them!!!

Anyway, I'm feeling halfway human, now. I need to get going and do some errands before the stone decides to make another appearance. Pixie dust that it passes quickly, if you have any to spare!

Feel better soon, Glynis!:wizard:

On a whim I went and got a TB test this morning. I figured I would e-mail the Stupid agency and tell them I have the test completed so now they have NO (valid) excuse not to send me for interviews. If they are going to ignore me then I am going to nag them.:)

I finally remembered to call and cancel our old internet service, so that's done. I got an e-mail yesterday that our rebate is being processed for a $20 Best Buy gift card. $20 cash would have been better, but I'll take the gift card! DH is supposed to get a $30 cash rebate for his cell phone, but it hasn't shown up yet.

Still no word from the interview family.:sad2:

I hope this stone passes through quickly and as painless as possible!

That was quick! The agency responded that all of my references are in and my background check is clear. Um, duh? BUT the ONE job they had that sounded PERFECT for me has already been filled. I think I said that would happen, didn't I? Their registration process is so freaking LONG that by the time you finish all the good jobs are gone! But at least I am clear to interview now, so if they get a new job in that looks good I can ask to interview for it.

In the meantime I should really get going on my psychic hotline. And maybe do some pin sharking on the side.;)

 ouch!

Good morning everyone! I hope this morning finds you all well. Terra and I had an interesting and yucky night that I am hoping is over. She work up about midnight and threw up all over herself, me and the bed. After about 20 minutes I was finally able to get her reasonably cleaned up and her hair rinsed out in the sink. Then of course came the requisite laundry to put in and other clean up. We then spent the remainder of the night sleeping in the recliner. That was so much easier to do when she was a 10lb, 22" baby as opposed to a 38lb, 40" 4yo. Luckily, I was tired enough that it didn't seem to matter that I was losing feeling in my feet and arm.

We had another minor incident this morning, but nothing since. All along she's been as happy as can be so I'm not sure what it is. I talked to Kristi this morning and apparently Connor did the same thing overnight, though Terra and Connor haven't seen each other since Monday afternoon. She is eating cinnamon toast and apple juice now so I'm hoping the rest of the day will be an easy one.

Hope the virus has run it's course & she is better now.

How hard is it to make coleslaw, or should I just buy it?
I make mine. Shredded bag of cabbage, approx 1 cup mayo, dash of white vinegar, pinch of salt, pinch of sugar, parsley, pepper.

Sorry you have to go through this again, hope is passes soon.

HELP!! Does anyone have the dark T-shirt Transfer instructions on their computer. I need them in the next 10 minutes :scared1:
I guess I am too late but what I do is print the design (do not flip) on the paper. Allow to sit for 30 mins for color to set. Cut out design. Anything you leave blank will be white. Peel backing off place on shirt, cover with the parchment paper. Iron for aprrox 11/2 to 2 minutes. Allow to cool & remove parchment. Oh & always wash the shirt first, dry with out using fabric softner.

So I feel silly asking for the pixie dust when I know you all have everything crossed for me already but:

The loan has been approved with the provision of one more piece of paper coming in from my student loans....I just hope what the underwriter (who I accidently called the undertaker yesterday;) ) is asking for is even doable!!

Thank you Tammi, Cahnon and Ann Marie for the ideas for coleslaw.

Glynis, pixiedust that the stone moves on quickly.

Elizabeth, well now that you got the TB test done, :wizard: that the right job comes along quickly.

Theresa pixiedust: :wizard: pixiedust: :wizard: pixiedust: :wizard:

I'm sending all the good thoughts and pixie dust you could need!!!!! I really want this to happen for you, Theresa!!! You're in my prayers!

Just popping in with a  Things have been a little  with my new charge. We had a incident yesterday between him and Molly and I have warned my girlfriend that if it happens again that I can't continue to watch him. Other than that we are enjoying the nice weather and being outside.

Right now Eric is on the phone with the county regarding our property tax assessment and he is :furious: Our tax assessment is $80k higher than our neighbor who has the exact same house as us. And it is $20k higher than 2 houses on our street that are again the exact same model as our and they are considered waterfront but we aren't. Of course, he is getting no where and just getting a bunch of BS. I have no idea what is going to happen but it just makes me want to :scared1:

Theresa~ Sending a ton of pixiedust: your way.

Glynis~ I hope you feel better soon!!!

Tia~ :wizard: that Terra is over the sickies

Elizabeth~ I sure hope that you can get the whole job situation figured out. pixiedust: I'll send some cake your way!

Sending out  and :wizard: to everyone I missed!!!

Ouchie! I hope that it passes quickly and as painlessly as possible. :wizard: Phil gets them a lot too so I have witnessed the pain involved.

So the end result is that the County will send someone out to take a look at our property. Not that it will make a difference.

This is so crazy...Our neighbors house is closer to the water and her basement is unfinished but our assessment is $80k more because we are considered waterview and we have a finished basement. How do they know we have a finished basement and she doesn't~ someone told them,
Our neighbor is not considered waterview but again she is closer to the water :confused3 Ridiculous!!!

Thank you Marci!

Garrett has a scrimage game tonight, hopefully it will be canceled. The weather here is chilly with drizzle & wind. I wish the weather would make up it's mind. warm or cold lol

Congrats on losing 20 lbs Janet!

Don't you just love it when you get a good deal!

All this talk of airfare I decided to peek at my air for August. I try not to look after I purchase.....

I got $89 (jetblue) going to MCO & $99 coming home (american) for the 5 of us.

Now the JB flight is $120 & the AA is $309!!!!! :scared1: I am so glad I booked when I did back in February.:cool2:

Hope Terra is feeling better :wizard:

That is great news. You are going to be a HOMEOWNER!!! I am so happy for you. A bit of good news in an otherwise gloomy day.

Thank you all for your T-shirt Transfer help. I have a coworker going to WDW tomorrow and I made designs last night but couldn't find the instructions to give to her. I was saved by the DDA.
