Good Afternoon,

Prayers and PD all around.

Theresa - glad everything is ok with Cassidy.

Stephanie - you never did get back to me about adopting a new family member - - - and were in single digits now. :confused3 :rotfl:

We're off to look at some land that is for sale, hopefully we'll be able to build a new house one day . . . . . .

Well, my day is off to a crappy start. Got into a big argument with xh2b. I can't stand him and I just wish he would be out of my life. He is a &%$(#@ idiot!!! Oh if I knew then what I know now I would NEVER have gotten involved with him. The only good thing is that I have 2 terrific children.

Now I just need to relax and get my blood pressure down!

:grouphug:  :grouphug:

Tammi - I am sorry your XH2B is a donkey's butt. I see that I meant to tell you that this morning when I realized I had 5 minutes to get to work. I hope your day is getting better! If you need a little boost just look at your ticker and think about the magical times you will have with your beautiful children!!:goodvibes

So I just came from my weekly visit to the Disney Store. 40% off the sale price on all clearance!! I bought a zip front hooded Pirates sweatshirt for DS for $10! They also had a new set of Pirate pins - 3 for $9.50 but they were 15% off with my "Wishes Granted Daily" coupon (thanks, Tia!). You all might check with your Disney stores because mine has the set of 3 teeny fairy pins (I wouldn't trust those to trade since they are really small), the set of 3 Peter Pan pins like I bought DS for Easter, a light up Peter Pan pin that I am waiting for it to go on sale, and now the set of Pirate pins. They have a BUNCH of T's for $4.99, toys, some dishes (I bought Brother a Peter Pan bowl with matching utensils), lots of goodies.:)

Tammi-

I am so sorry your ex is a pain in the tushie!!

I hope Jacob is feeling better this morning.:grouphug:

Thanks. He is feeling much better. His ear is still sore, but at least he's not screaming. We'll just keep the Motrin and the drops going.

:grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: I'm so sorry that you have to deal with this! You deserve so much better! Thank heaven you got two angels out of the whole ordeal!

Well, it's a gloomy gray day here in Alpine! Alan and I are trying to think of something fun to do with the kids today, but we're not really coming up with anything wonderful (and cheap!). Oh well, they're not complaining about being home, especially now that we have our yard swing. Katie and Jacob have been on it with their books all morning! They are loving it! I would love it more if it was warmer outside.

I'm so proud of myself! My trip planning is going quite well!!! The T-shirts are all designed, half of them are printed and ironed on (just waiting on a new shipment of paper before I can finish them), my autograph pages are all printed, and I'm working on cutting them out for each kid. I'm just so excited!!! Still to do: make water bottle straps for my kids, get the coupon organizers for the autograph cards, make some quick shorts to match my kids t-shirts (ok, that's not really a necessity, but I'd like to!), figure out why our 2 tv DVD player for the van is only working on one tv, and start planning/buying surprises to make the long drive shorter!

By the way, did I mention that we now have a Disney Character Warehouse in Salt Lake City? It's only going to be open until June 3rd, so I'm planning on hitting it at least weekly until we go. I'm hoping to find some fun things for the trip! So far, I've found baseball hats for each of the kids, a stuffed Donald Duck pirate for Jacob, and a pair of Minnie capri pants for Leslie. Tammmi, I looked at their princess dresses, and they had Belle, Sleeping Beauty and Snow White, I can't remember the sizes, but they were 34.99. Let me know if you're interested!

Thanks everyone. My day is getting better, as I've had time to cool off. Plus I will be heading home in a few hours. My kids want to go to movie night tonight at the church. They are showing Flushed Away. So while they are watching the movie it gives Bob and I time to go out for a quick dinner. Elin, what do you think of The General Store?

Tomorrow we have to be at the soccer field at 7:30 AM for pictures, and we have an 8:30 game. Poor Nicholas has to get up earlier for this this than he does when he has to go to school. Saturdays are for sleeping in!!! Then Bob is going to come over and he is going to help me get a few loads of mulch and redo the swing set area. I figure I better do it now because the next few weekends I won't be able too. :goodvibes

Thanks Glynis, but I think we are going to hold off. I appreciate the offer though! :)

I've been the fun Mom today. I took the kids (and Chris) to a BBQ at our bank. They had food, games and ice cream. Then I took the kids to the park to play. They've had a good day with plenty of outdoor time :thumbsup2 Now I need to write those darned donation letters.

Most of the time. :goodvibes

Alyssa's on a Knock Knock joke kick. Her two favorites are:

Knock Knock
Who's there?
Boo
Boo who?
Don't cry, it's just a joke (insert name here :rotfl: )

Knock Knock
Who's there?
Who
Who Who?
I didn't know you were an owl (insert name here :rotfl: )

Matthew is eating table food already (he's got 8 teeth now) and he's still army-crawling all over the place. I can't wait to find out his height, weight, etc. tomorrow.

Those are some of Terra's favorites too. Another is
Knock Knock
Who's there?
Olive
Olive Who?
I love you too (insert name here)

Much better than Kassie (5) and Connor's (2.5) jokes. A sample:
Knock Knock
Who's there?
Apple
Apple who?
Apple apple
or Apple juice

Even when she was on the kick of telling them 20 times in a row, I'm at least thankful that she got the gist of how a knock, knock joke goes.

Chanon -

Your pirate Tigger pin was released at DL today. You might give them a call and ask how much it will cost to ship it.

I called DL to see if they received my shirt for exchange. They did! That was really half the battle! Now I will just hope they have the size I need so they can send it back.

Hi all....Just a quick pop in. I've read along and feel bad that I don't have the time right now to catch up individually. So I am sending lots of 's and :wizard: to everyone that needs some.

Molly had her check up and unfortunately has a raging ear infection. So she is to start on antibiotics and we have to go back next Friday for a recheck. Apparently she also has a large wax buildup in the ear as well, same as Jacob. It strikes me funny that when one of us or our kids has a problem that there is always one or more with the same thing at the same time. I am concerned about the ear infection only because she has tubes in her ears and shouldn't be getting them. Her dr. wasn't too happy either. I don't know what this means should it not clear up by next week. Other than that the appointment went well and Molly is right on track.

We did manage to get most of the things we needed for her birthday party, which is tomorrow. This is for all of our friends and their kids. I just now to need to bake and decorate her cake and make up the coloring books, the kid's favors. Oh and make her shirt. Of course, we also have gymnastics tonight. Thankfully my mom is taking Molly for the night and will bring her straight to the party tomorrow.

I hope everyone has a great weekend. I don't know when I'll get back on as Emma wants us to head to DC on Sunday for the day. She is dying to visit the Lincoln Memorial and since the weather is supposed to be nice all weekend I am sure we will go.

Again, 's and :wizard: to everyone.

Our polo shirts arrived today & I am happy to say I ordered just the right sizes for us all! Garrett & Riley have some wiggle room for growth spurts :thumbsup2 We are ready for Christmas :rotfl: I think this is the quickest I have ever received an order from Disneyshopping.

Good morning. Another busy day here, but what's new?

I need to shower and do laundry, type up a bunch of donation requests for cub scouts, get the boys to the pediotrist, come home and change before heading to work. At least the sun is shining and it looks like I have the weekend off with my family :cool1: It has been an extremely busy week at work which is great for the wallet but not so much for the mental aspects. I hope that we all escape the blahs soon. I really hope to spend some time outdoors this weekend. Nothing like sun to make things better.
:cool1: Yeah a weekend off!

This is wonderful Deb, I hope you all enjoy your weekend together!

After working 9 days straight, I will get next weekend off. I am looking forward to it :cool1:
:cool1: for next weekend.

Emma's are like Kassie's and Connor's.

Dinosaur
Dinosaur who?
Dinosaur sat on the car.

She cracks herself up though.:lmao:

Good afternoon everyone! Is it nap time yet? I ended up with all 3 kids in bed with me last night and there wasn't near enough room for that. Add to that the fact that they were all really noisy sleepers, plus got up at 6:30 and I didn't sleep much or well.

Not too exciting of a day as all we've done is run errands and take people to/from work and school. We're just waiting for Connor to wake up right now so that the kids can decorate visors to wear to the zoo tomorrow. Michael's had foamies on sale today so we got colored visors and animals stickers for them to use. When Rachel gets home, we've got to take her and Kassie up for their dance pictures. I had better hurry up and brush up on my pony-tailing skills. Terra's hair won't stay in a pony tail and mine is usually only done so when wearing a hat so I'm going to have to work hard to get smooth dance-recital quality pony tails going.

Any big weekend plans out there? We are doing April Showers pick up for Girl Scouts tomorrow (collecting personal care supplies for food pantries), going to the zoo and probably hitting Ted Drewes for frozen custard on the way home. Sunday is church, the school district art show to see Rachel's work in it and then maybe the Earth Day celebration at Forest Park. The busyness is tiring, but it keeps Terra and Kassie occupied and not bickering like they have been a lot lately. Plus, it's how I like to be so I don't mind it. I am definitely not a home-body. I get bored to easily.

So all of you Hawaii loving people...I have some questions for you if you wouldn't mind helping me out. Thanks!!

Is there a good age to take kids to Hawaii? Would a trip with several 2-8yo kids be enjoyable? Would it be better when the were older?

If you could only do one island, which is the best option? Any specific locations to look first?

If you had to give up a couple of years of Disney trips to go, would you?

If one does not enjoy hanging out on the beach for very long or often, would that affect the enjoyment of a Hawaiin vacation?
