We've had several lockdowns in the last couple of days, but the prize for stupidity goes to a man who took his BMW to the dealership for some repairs. They were quite expensive, and he thought they were covered under his warranty. Unfortunately, his warranty had run out, and he was told he would have to pay in full. He got very angry and demanded to see a manager. His words to the guy behind the counter, "You'd better call your supervisor, becasue he has a customer here who is going to pull a Virginia Tech down here!" The guy behind the counter didn't call his manager, but he did call the police. Customer is now behind bars, charged with making a terrorist threat.

How stupid can someone be?????

Okay people, listen up. I need to find a Disney lovin' man while I'm down there. I need a Disney lovin' man so I can have that cake topper on my cake.

Maybe I'll make buttons that say looking for a Disney lovin' man for my DDA buddy for October....

This is the quickest way to tell everyone... I got a reply to my email and he is OK!

This is a drive-by. Wanted to check in to say hi. I've been working from 8am-10pm. I have barely had time to read my email let alone get on the internet. I probably won't be back until Friday or Saturday. Hope all is going well with everyone. for anyone that needs it.

And this is so but do any of you other dyslectics see the prom dress as the porn dress, or is that uniquely mine???

I'll get my new glasses tomorrow.

Oh lastly, I must pout. I have to interview an intern Friday. So, she needs a desk. I have 2 or 3 desks just piled. So my boss told me I had to clean up an area for my intern. So....I was at work holding a bottle of Windex, and a dust cloth. Moving books. Clearing off desk space. Looking like Hazel the maid. Got the only smile from Terry all day.... If she smiles again, I do it tomorrow.

well, there is a dad from Virginia who is in jail for making the same stupid kind of a remark at his child's ELEMENTARY SCHOOL! That may just top your BMW jerk...

Morning DDA! Last day of work before driving to NC! Last night I was a mad woman cleaning this house. Dusting, vaccuuming, sweeping (I love my Swiffer Sweeper Vac!), changing sheets, washing clothes and comforters...all I have left today is one bathroom and the kitchen sink. And clean my car. And pack. $&#*#&$! I always hate typing this, because I suddenly think of more!

I think you are right, Heidi. I am not so certain it is stupidity so much as the current trend of feeling as if *I* am the most important person in the world and *my* needs are much more important than anyone else's. Our kindness and thoughts for our fellow man seem to have gone by the wayside. It is a sad direction our society is going.
