Amy it is nice to hear from you!

Becky thank you for posting Adian's update

Hi Stephanie!

Our hot water heater is working fine. I had called & a guy was going to come by the next day, but it was working fine by that night. I really think dh accidently turned the breaker off(even though he has not admitted it). He has been doing alot of work in the basement.

Two more weeks & you will be going to Disney :yay: I so wish I could get a trip in this summer with the boys!

Janet, did the hot water heater get fixed?

I tell ya, this being more outgoing is going to be hard.

Yesterday was an uncle's 80th birthday, almost all family and I say hello, hugged, kissed then sat by my mom and pretty much didn't move until is was time to leave.

I'm not sure if I will be bringing a carry on or not. Hopefully I can get by with one piece of luggage to be checked.

So did you freeze at the game last night?

Nope - just when I travel for work - my 26" is for clothes, my 24" is for shoes, toiletries and extra space for stuff to bring back to the office, and a 20" for a carryon for stuff I can't send under the plane. That's the only time I'm a girly girl - because I have to for work. :rotfl: I think for the Oct trip, I'll only have the 26" and the carryon. :thumbsup2

Morning DDA!

Up bright and early for our Easter Cantata! Have a great Sunday everyone and lets hope the sun comes out and there is no more snow on the ground!
Sox lost the game last night, but a whole row of people behind us where Sox fans which was great for Bob -

Yes, I did, after trying on what seemed like a gazillion. I made 2 discoveries as well:

1. Even though I like the thought of wearing a tankini, primarily for going to the bathroom purposes, they don't look good on me. So I opted for a one-piece.

2. After years of buying black based suits, brown is a much better color for me. It goes better with my fare skin, where the black just makes me look pastey. I never tried on a brown suit until today.

I also bought myself 2 pairs of shorts, a denim miniskort, and a pair of capris. Nicholas got 2 tank tops and Alyssa got 2 shorts and 3 shirts. I still need to find her a bathing suit, then I will be done.

Bob should be here in 10 minutes. We are going out to dinner (haven't decided where) and then we are thinking about seeing a movie, but there isn't anything worth watching at the theaters. So maybe we will just get another video.

Talk to you all later.

Sounds like a very productive shopping trip! :thumbsup2

I hope your night was a great one :goodvibes

I have to finish the taxes today. We got them done the other day but I have to write out the final copy. We are getting a very nice refund this year.

We bought Katrina a car yesterday but I forgot to call to get the insurance on Friday so she is taking ours home today. She'll come back when she can to trade ours for hers. They are installing a keyless entry anyway so it needs to be down here for that.

I also need to get ready for another trip to Lansing tomorrow. I have some work to do before leaving as well as getting the house straightened up.

Elin- your birthday is the day before mine. I would live somewhere in Epcot's World Showcase...not sure where yet.

We had the B & B all to ourselves. The owners "decided" to paint the room we were supposed to have http://www.victoriaskeep.com/castleview.htm

so the put us in this one: http://www.victoriaskeep.com/abbeyview.htm

It was beautiful:love:

We went to supper at a yummy place....I haven't eaten that much in the last 2 weeks combined....2 hrs of companionable silence and then a slow walk.

When we woke up, we had an interesting breakfast...Jimmy forgot to tell them I can't eat coconut and he doesn't like asparagus.....there was still enough to fill us up.

We went and visited the castle you can see in the second room's picture....again beautiful!! and slowly walked through the town of Manitou Springs.

I didn't have a inch of stress stomach until we headed out of Colorado Springs....we just really need to hear about our house and loan.

What a lovely evening! I'm glad it was able to take your mind off the house stress for a while! :goodvibes

Speaking of bathing suits. We just put ours to good use. The pool here is 90 degrees. The kids bowled well for 2 of the 3 games and each had a bad game. Oh well, they seemed to have fun and they are enjoying the hotel. Hunter keeps saying this is really nice, we are staying at a Holiday Inn Express so wait until he sees DVC. I think he might flip out :lmao:

First of all, everyone is making me really nervous about bathing suits, and I have to be in one soon -- so I applaud you for already swimming (albeit indoors) and reminding me to stay on track :rotfl:

Seriously though, it sounds like fun -- and now I really can't wait to hear about the boys' reaction to DVC! :)

I do that with Cold Stone....I get 4 or 5 bites and Jimmy gets the rest. That creation sounds yummy.

You are both nuts! (Or maybe just have much stronger willpower than I :rolleyes1 ) ... I take out at LEAST a "like it" size myself at Coldstone, and could definitely finish the "love it" if it were set in front of me! :rotfl:

Wish school was cancelled due to rain :rotfl:

We're just getting rain now, but we're looking at 6-10" of wet, heavy snow overnight. The kids are all hoping that spring break is a day longer! Though I don't think it should be SPRING break if you get a snow day. :rotfl:

Good morning, DDA!

Janet - Have you decided definitely not to go to WDW in August?

Heidi - I don't think being outgoing is one of those things that happens instantly. Try again at the next event!:thumbsup2

The credit report site is still not working so I guess I won't be doing that right now. I need to do laundry.:laundy:

Good morning everyone! I just read the last few pages, but can't seem to remember any of it. And here I thought that I wasn't very tired today. I think it's the cold messing with my head. I knew it was coming, but was bummed to wake up with a sore throat and congestion today. :(

Hope everyone has a nice Sunday! I've got to take Dad to church and pick my BIL up from the half marathon downtown. He was going to run the full, but switched yesterday to the half as he's been fighting a cold or allergies for over a week. Other than that, I don't think that we have much planned.
