had pulminologist appointment today for my 6 month check up. i look great she said. my oxygen level was 97%. i was happy with that. they dont want me going below 89% then that means trouble. for a normal person they dont want it below 96%. i got an email from the vets office i sent my resume and they want me to fill out an application, so ill do that tomorrow. prayers and pixie dust i get it. then have to run a few errands and hopefully look at an apartment.

Ok, Ellen and I are playing with Google Groups! Who wants to join and add things and play with us!! I set it up as a private group, so it has to be done by email invite (so it isn't public on a google search for example) Ellen's already put in her Pal Mickey Instructions!!!
Cool - I got the invite and will be joining, even though I'll just get to gaze longingly at y'all's October plans.

So if it's not one thing it's just another. Today they got to remove his tubes again and place him on a simple nasal canula, much more peacefull for him and he's not trying so hard to yank things out. He also is having really good gases and looks like he may stay off for a while.
However, he is also having another echo cardiogram tomorrow, it seems that his heart is showing signs of a typical diabetic mother baby. His walls between the two lower chambers are thick and have not reduced over the last two weeks. So they will look at this again and prescribe some sort of medication to help with it.
And to finish off today's recap: it looks like he will be in a private room for another 18 days or so. Some over anxious doctor didn't wait 24 hours to find out that all his cultures were coming back negative and did a test which CDC mandates a 21 day isolation while the culture possibly grows. So we will continue to have to wrap our bodies in all kinds of protection and look forward to an overpriced room charge for something that was most likely not needed, however I will eat my words if it does come back positive.
