Here is a picture of Leighanna with the Easter Bunny. I just added a little frame around it. It definitely was not as good of an Easter Bunny as Amy's was! My baby is growing up!

I was sitting here doing homework and got an IM from STEVE!!!! (the guy in Iraq)
I was so excited since I havent talked to him since he got deployed in January!
I only got to talk to him for 5 minutes and it kicked him offline, but it was SO nice to talk to him!

He started to give me his address and then he left! I have a huge pile of things t osend him--this just made my day!!

He came back online--we talked for awhile--it was so nice! He told me the weather is g etting hot but hes doing okay! I miss him like crazy so im so happy tonight!

Hello everyone!

Happy Easter and Happy Passover!

It is flipping freezing!! We have spent the day inside except for going to see Meet the Robinson's and then out to dinner. I wasn't thrilled with it. Maybe if I wasn't so tired I would have enjoyed it more. We colored eggs and had our egg hunt, inside. Not as fun as it usually is, but the kids were happy. Tomorrow we are having family over for dinner.

I tried a new recipe tonight that I got from a thread on the CB. It was so good, thought I would share it with you all!

Sweet and Sour Chicken

4 - 6 boneless skinless chicken breast
1 bottle catalina or red french dressing (the regular size bottle) I use fat free
1 jar apricot preserve (regular size) I use All Fruit
1 package dry onion soup mix

preheat oven to 350.

Place chicken in a baking dish. Bake for 30 minutes. Drain off juice.

Mix dressing, preserve and soup mix and pour over chicken. Bake another 30 minutes.


The sauce from this is yummy! I made some rice & put the sauce over it.

Yay for bil's 1st trip to Disney

We had a nice time today celebrating Easter with family. My BIL & his wife told us they are going to Disneyworld in May! They just booked & this is their first time. My neices & nephew are 3,4, & 7..they are so excited. They hadn't made any Adrs so I called in a few for them today..Princess Norway dinner, Crystal palace lunch, Sci Fi dine in.

I am not very good at giving people the benefit of the doubt. I would not make a good juror! Hopefully it will get all sorted out.

I was INNOCENTLY browsing on eBay to see what sort of pirate lanyards are available. The short answer is that EVERYBODY shops at Target! I did see a very cool black one with white skulls & crossbones. But I was JUST looking. I didn't even sign in.

My "cotton candy" Crocs came in today! They look so small compared to the big old Disney Crocs! But they fit fine.

I need to go down to my car and get DS's Easter card out of the trunk. Or better yet, I need to send DH down to get it. It is really cold out there.

Tom - I am glad you had fun with the girls today!

Kristine please don't stop designing yet. I sent a PM to you requesting a design for my daughter. As God as my witness, I am not selling it on ebay. It will be going in a treasure box for my daughter since this is her first Disney trip.

I was up bright and early today We took the kids to an egg hunt at Shaw's. They enjoyed it and won a couple of the big prizes which were a grocery bag of supermarket toys. My favorite is the silly putty which has already managed to attach itself to Colby's bedding After the egg hunt we went to McDonald's for breakfast then off to our community egg hunt. It was a nice morning. My cousin and her son came over after the egg hunt and she cut all of our hair. Let's just say that I have a very different do. We'll have to see if I like it or not Otherwise we did a bunch of housework in preparation for tomorrow. It looks like we'll have about 15 for lunch.

I don't disagree with you about people making an innocent mistakes...

in this instance..as we talked about, it is a profit situation...but it's good to have people like you around...it balances out us meanies!

It is very possible that the person doesn't know that it is illegal to sell anything with the Disney designs on it and that they are just trying to do a service to those people that can't do their own transfers or iron them on. We have all seen requests for this service. I sent a pm to Kristine asking for the username and will send them a pm letting them know it is a copyright infringement. I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt on this until we find out differently.

I'm also going to create a post reminding people that the designers do this for individual use and all they ask in return is credit where credit is due. As well as the info on that it is Disney copyright infringement to benefit from the sale of the designs. Anything else that should be included in the post?

I'm trying to decide if I want to change the color. I've never ever dyed my hair. I bought a bottle of a temporary color to give a try, but haven't got up the nerve to do it yet. It is a light brown with red highlights color. I've always been blonde. I thought since I have a drastic haircut maybe I would do the color too. Maybe tomorrow

I didn't notice a smell, just that it still ruins fabric

Deb - I have never colored my hair - just had blond highlights put in. Our next door neighbor has always been blond (we've known her since DS was tiny) and hers is kind of chestnut colored now. It looks terrific. I don't know if I would ever be brave enough to color it darker. It seems to be getting darker all by itself! Show us some pics of the new do, then we'll let you know if you should color it!
