The DDA Trouble Free Zone Part 24

So I've never been more relieved to hear...you need to move out ....in my life. I totally agree!!

The part that turned my stomach was the hatred that was in Grandma's eyes when she looked at Abi this morning....pure venom.


So I am spending a good portion of tomorrow setting up appointments to see apts. Saturday...hopefully we will be able to move before the end of the month!!

for Abi and for you, too. I get so upset when someone hurts my children's feelings. Mama bear really comes out. I am so crossing my fingers for you! Give my love to Abi, and take some for yourself!

Nordstrom. They have them at Academy Sports and Journeys, but those are in packages instead of singles. We also have a Crocs cart at the Galleria that has a TON of Crocs, Jibbitz, boots, knee pads, Croc butter, and anything else Croc related that you can imagine! DH has to wear knee pads at work but he said he didn't want the Croc ones.

Which designs are you looking for?

I'm looking for Pirates ones for Alan, and I'm still up in the air for me.

I'm going to a mall tomorrow to do last minute Easter stuff, and they have both Nordstrom's and a Croc's cart, so I'll check those out!!! Thanks for the information!

That's the way I store my cupcakes. 9 X 13 pans work great for holding them without crowding.

Let me know if you want some dessert ideas. I've got a ton of them! From easy to hard, just let me know!

You are so sweet! I thought I would just pull a cake mix out of the cabinet and follow the directions on the box! If I am feeling truly inspired I might make a batch of brownies, too, even though my last batch got a little crunchy on the edges!

Well, I'm off to take the twins to preschool. They get to go to a museum today, and they are excited! Not too much else on my agenda. I may try to get my eyebrows waxed while they are in school. Much easier to do when they are not around.

I bought 2 different pirate designs for DS at Nordstrom. They are in the Kids shoe dept. at the register. The pirate ones I have came from Nordstrom, but they didn't have any more. The Crocs cart had them, though. So there are at least 3 different pirate designs to choose from.

I am enjoying my time off, thanks! DH is headed out to the lake to fish for a bit. I need to go over to work to check on the cat and bring in the mail, but that will just take a minute. DS doesn't have tutoring this afternoon, and he is really looking forward to his 4 day weekend. He is supposed to go see Meet The Robinsons with his best friend one day this weekend. It is his friend's B-day, so that's what they are doing instead of a party. I guess 5th grade boys don't really have parties. I haven't heard back from the mom to know exactly when they are going, but since we don't have plans I guess it doesn't matter!

So a somewhat funny but not surprising update already!!

My grandma took it upon herself to call a brokerage firm this morning on my behalf...he called me here...I decided to play along. We'll see if we can qualify for any home loans.

I also have a friend who has been renting from the same person forever...she's getting his # for me as there are 2 of his places for rent right now....ideal location for Cassidy....a little less ideal for me and Abi but we can make it work.

Oh that is a good one

I actually just came up with the perferct threat for Logan. When he was going through his hitting phase before I would duct tape my Disney oven mits on him and make him wear them for a while. He hated it. I told him if I get all call about his behavior he will be wearing the mits to school on the next day. I really think he will think twice before hitting now

Jordan, please.

There was a school bus kidnapping. Jordan defied orders and overworked herself into a seizure...she told Garrett that she had upped the medication for the tumor on her brain but she would not do the surgery. Of course, during the seizure everyone else found out about her condition. The nasty new ME & Nigel had a dead Santa Claus case....Nigel helped the family of the man come to terms with the fact he was sober for 3 years and trying to get back in their lives.

Garrett fired Jordan....she and the mom of one of the kidnapped got to talking how the mom felt that her daughter was alive. All arrows pointed toward the woman being dead. Nigel decided that if he and Woody could find the victim alive it would be the miracle Jordan needed so that she would have the surgery. When they got a general idea of where the woman could be Woody and Jordan went to look for her (Garrett tried to hold Jordan back but she said I don't work for you remember??) They find the woman alive.

The most touching scene was: Jordan in the ME office and Garrett comes up...she says are you getting security to make sure I'm getting my stuff and only my stuff? He follows her in the office and they sit on the couch...he starts to say something...she interupts and says that she has scheduled the surgery for Tuesday. She than falls into a hug....him cradling her head like a father would.


PHEW!! I bet you didn't want that much!!
