This is what I have food wise for my birthday, yes I am a plan aheader. (hehe not even a real word)
The temps for this weekend range from 64-70. Should I even bother taking any short sleeved shirts? Maybe just one?
Colby was up at 1 AM with his feet and legs bothering him. He seems fine now. Thankfully he will get his new orthodics on the 31st. Hopefully that will help with the nighttime pain.
Hunter somehow managed to drop the PS2 on his ankle last night so he has been hobbling around since then. Snowboarding starts tonight so I will have to touch base with him around lunch to see if I need to dig out all his stuff for tonight.
Nick is home sick with diarrhea, stomach ache and sore throat. I really doubt that he will feel up to snowboarding tonight although he still hopes to.
This was on the CB from Ty

Yikes! What an ordeal. Sorry you had to go through this. Nice to hear you're all safe now!Hi everyone! We are back home and keeping warm at last! Our power went out around 5:30 on Saturday morning and it came on sometime around 9:00 Monday night. We hit IHOP for breakfast and then took the kids to the mall for a couple of hours to play where it was warm, hoping things would be better when we got home. No such luck and more ice on the way! So, we bought a trunk load of firewood from some people near by and set up camp in the living room around the fire. It was kind of fun for a little while reading books to the kids via flashlight and snuggling around the fire. No so fun a little later when trying to sleep as the temp in the house steadily dropped.
By morning our wood supply was on it's last log and the electricity was still out and in growing numbers around the city. Sunday morning I spent 2 hours with the kids at McDonald's while Mom and Dad went to church (our potential new music minister was leading the service and it was the only chance to see him before the vote) and Chris and Kristi snuck in showers at the gym.
Luckily, for Sunday night we were able to get a bonus night at my parent's timeshare an hour away and were able to sleep in warmth. Kristi and I kept the kids there until yesterday while the others all commuted back for warmth. According to news reports we weren't expected to get out power back until later today, but were pleased to get a call from Rachel's friend who drove by our place Monday night and saw the power was back on. So yesterday, we got to come home and face the mess that 10 people can make when pretty much stuck in 2 rooms for a couple of days in the dark.
So...how was everyone else's weekend?
Now I've got to head back to page 6300 and get caught up!
Yippee Skippee!!!! That is so cool!I just have to share this with my Disney family: My husband is officially semi-Disney obsessed!!!!! He came home from work all excited to show me what he bought me. He had gotten the email from Disney shopping about their 75% sale, and free shipping on orders of $60.00. Well, he found a Mickey tow hitch cover for my van, 2 Mickey car backseat organizers for Katie and Jacob, a set of Mickey drawer pulls, 2 picture frames, and a Dash lunchbox for Jacob. I couldn't believe it!!!! Then he says, "What would you think about turning the playroom downstairs into our Disney room?" He wants to get some Disney beanbag chairs, pictures for the wall, wants to paint it up in Disney style, etc.
I think the half marathon/WDW trip really changed his heart. I'm so happy!![]()

I too found the childs one were big. I bought some for Joe but didn't even have him try them on or show them to him. I'm thinking maybe they'll fit in August.I bought a pair for colby and a pair for Hunter. I bought their current sneaker sizes and both pairs are too big. I need to order each of them a smaller size. Nick needs the adult size and they haven't been readily available yet.
