This is how I make one. I use a big springfold pan. Put about an inch of brownie mix in the bottom and bake, place pan into freezer to cool. Add a 1 inch layer of vanilla ice cream and a layer of hot fudge and a layer of rasberry pie filling and freeze, then do another layer of hot fudge and top with homemade whipped cream. Freeze the whole thing. When ready to serve I take it out for about 5 minutes then remove the side of the pan and voila, instant hot fudge sundae cake. I have never had to throw a single piece away. YUMMY

Deb
Sounds yummy. But I'll have to stick with this nice lowfat popcorn instead.popcorn::

Christi so good to see you. Hope you are doing well and that things have improved with DH.
Well they have in the fact that I am letting more go to God. He still works a lot but instead of nagging I'm hoping God will teach him.

I was trying really hard to find something extra special for 6,000 and how I feel about all of you....but I think I may have actually fallen asleep at the computer!!:rotfl2:

Congratulations. :cheer2:

Sept.28, 2002 ( on my moms birthday and almost 2 years to the day we met. We met Sept. 29, 2000)
Wow, ours was all in the same year met got engaged a few months later and married a few months after that. Of course, I would tell my kids to wait longer to make sure but I was young so my mom didn't bother she figured I wouldn't listen if she told me to really think about it. But, I have been blessed with 4 boys and wouldn't change things now for the world. And I am truly hopeful that someday DH will learn to appreciate us and be the man I thought I married.:goodvibes

Good night everyone this has been fun.

Congrats, Theresa! :cool1:

Never made a cake, but I have made ice cream pies. One was a snicker & the other was a babe ruth, yummy! I had to let the ice cream soften some & then I added the chopped up candy bars. I drizzled chocolate syrup on one & carmel on the other.

Has anyone ever tried to make there own ice cream cake? I thought I would give it a try for my DD, I just figure I'll have to ice it quickly, I thought maybe I should freeze the cake before I ice it?

Good morning DDA!

Theresa & Debbie congratulations on your personal milestones :cheer2:

Well ladies, as it seems the men have gone off else where. :confused3

J/K, I know they are busy with work and real life.

Since we have been talking about weddings and proposals, when did you get married?

May 3, 1986 (yes I got married on my birthday).

That is very cool! I was married May 28, 1988. It was exactly one week after dh graduated from RIT. He says that the month of May is a triple-whammy for him with Mother's Day, my birthday, and our anniversary. I'm not sure why he complains since he really doesn't do anything for any of those days.

I would definitely freeze the cake before trying to ice it. Usually ice cream cakes are frosted with a soft icing like whipped cream.

Good luck and show us a photo when it's done!

April 13,1991 we had a freak snowstorm the night before.

That's 2 days before Matthew was born. We were having a very warm spring that year. I remember a couple of days in the 80's before he was born. I said then that I'd never make it with a summer baby. Laura was born at the end of August. :rotfl:

My parents met on St. Patrick's Day, were engaged in June, and married on my mother's parents' 25th anniversary in December. Mom always told me that things worked out for them but that I should take a little more time.

I met dh in September of 1983. We starting dating December 10, 1983. We weren't married until May 28, 1988, so I guess I listened to mom. ;)

Good morning!
