The DDA Trouble Free Zone Part 20

I picked up the new prescription to help me sleep yesterday. The pharmasist said to take it 1/2 hour before wanting to sleep. I took it at 10 PM last night, by 11 PM it hadn't worked (the doctor said it might take 2) so I took another. The end result was extreme dry mouth (worse than I have ever experienced. It was difficult to breath as my mouth was so dry. I needed water every 5 minutes) and I was still awake at 3:30 this morning :furious: So now I have 5 kids in the house and I got about 3 hours of sleep :sad2: :crazy2: I'm thinking that after my weekend this is not a good way to start the week. So far they have been pretty good. I think I'll take a nap with the little ones later just for sanity purposes. Oh yeah, the phone rang at 8 am and it was a coworker. She wanted me to switch nights as the weather is bad today and she wanted to stay home and have me work tonight and she would work thursday night. I told her no way. I've already covered for her the last 2 weeks while she was on vacation and I don't feel like finding someone to watch the kids for an hour this afternoon and I'm tired. I keep telling myself that it is ok to say no, but I still feel guilty:rolleyes2 I really hate working when it is slow and Mondays are always the slowest night of the week and with bad weather I would go :crazy2:

I spoke to the Dr.s office this morning and they are prescribing a new med. I have to tell you that after last night I am leary about trying new meds. I certainly won't try it for a couple of nights. Back to tylenol PM for a couple of nights.

The kids are looking for breakfast so I'd better get moving.

Have a nice day.

Deb

What does everyone think?

Ow. Sounds painful. I hope you can get an appt. soon. Who do you go to? We see Dr. Moore up by 630.

We have Dr. Theresa Crawley in the old Pratt Clinic building on Fall Hill Avenue. And I was right... they are off today. :rolleyes2

You know you are raising your child right when he finds a Hidden Mickey in his Cheerios. :goodvibes :rotfl2:

:rotfl:

Last Thursday night I was doing note reading on the board with one of my newer classes. There is a family that are DVC owners whose daughter is in that class. When I had three of the notes up on the board she deadpanned... "That is a Hidden Mickey" and the rest of the class looked at us like we had lost our minds when we discussed it! :rotfl2:

I hope you can get a nap in sometime today, and that all the kids continue on their best behavior. Don't beat yourself about about turning your coworker down. Sometimes you just have to do what is best for you and people should understand that. :grouphug:
