According to Dr Phil:
Others see you as sensible, cautious, careful & practical. They see you as clever, gifted, or talented, but modest. Not a person who makes friends too quickly or easily, but someone who's extremely loyal to friends you do make and who expect the same loyalty in return. Those who really get to know you realize it takes a lot to shake your trust in your friends, but equally that it takes you a long time to get over it if that trust is ever broken.

Tammi Have you ever had a sinus infection? My jaw will ache when I get them. It always seems more like a mouth issue than a sinus issue. I hope you get it figured out soon.
Yes, I get sinus infections seasonally, they are triggered by my allergies, and I have never had this problem before. Last night was the first night that it bothered me while sleeping, depending on which way I laid. I was reading up on it on the web last night and I am going to try some home remedies first before seeing a doctor. Things like eating soft food, not opening my mouth wide, jaw exercises, etc. Kate PM'd me with some info (thanks!), as she has TMJ issues. I also read where it can be weeks before finding relief.

sounds like TMJ to me. I would go to your dentist first. Kathrin has/had this and she started out with the regular dentist and then she was referred to an oral surgeon.

We are ailment sharing in a way... I had a toothache last night which is very unusual for me. I think the last time I had one it was because I had braces on! Anyway, this morning, my gum area is tender and a little swollen. I am pretty certain I must have an abcess, but I will BET you that my dentist does not work on MLK Day.
Ow. Sounds painful. I hope you can get an appt. soon. Who do you go to? We see Dr. Moore up by 630.

Good morning everyone!

Both kids are home from school today. I'm going to finish up the laundry, make a trip to walmart and the grocery store. Hopefully the rain will hold off long enough for them to play outside a bit today.

I really want Jordan's dad back...but I don't think it will happen.

I can't wait to see Switzer and Jordan interact.

Jordan and her dad's interaction really did make a good portion of the appeal of the show for me. I was thinking the same thing about Switzer & Jordan. Interesting new cast member.

You know you are raising your child right when he finds a Hidden Mickey in his Cheerios. :goodvibes :rotfl2:

:grouphug: :grouphug:

I am going to call it a night as I am emotionally exhausted. Jeff, Olivia and I went to church this morning, I cried pretty much the whole time. I have been an emotional wreck, not sure why. Maybe its the clomid I took. I will let you all know if I make it out of hear tomorrow night and home. Everybody stay safe.

Count me in for a girl's night out! I definitely need to let Alan be the full time parent for a few days. He's starting to drive my batty! He just thinks the kids are great all the time, but he only sees them for about 2 hours every day. Grrrrr!

I see a common problem popping up. Isn't it amazing how well behaved kids can be for 2 or 3 hours. There are days when my neice and nephew drive me crazy then they go home to their parents who have them for about 3 hours before they go to bed and sometimes they think I'm nuts and other times they put them to bed early so they have very little time with them. Chris has about 4 hours each night with them and he does help with them on the weekends, but if I'm here it is still Mom this or Mom that which drives me crazy. I noticed that since Colby spent most of the day yesterday with Chris that by the end of the day he didn't want me he wanted Chris :rotfl: I was fine with that.

Ok, Andy has an opening for a couple of months. Clare has said that now is not a good time for him to travel to England. I had 3 months on the list for him to travel there & back and have a nice long visit. Here is the current schedules of all of the pals with their openings. Is there anyone that is interested in having one of the pals now?
If you're looking to fill a spot - here's my 2007 vacation schedule:
Memorial Weekend - Cooperstown NY
April 21 - driving to NC for a wedding
July 7th - I'm in my cousin's wedding
July 14th - best friend from high school wedding

Here are places I have picked out for our Dec. trip to eat at. what do you think? I am wanting to try some different places.

Concourse Steakhouse – Never eaten at
Kona Café – Never eaten at
Ohana – Poly
1900 Park Fare – Breakfast - Never eaten at
Rose & Crown – Never eaten at
Tony’s Town Square – Never eaten at
LTT
50’s Primetime Café – Never eaten at
Sci-Fi
I loved the R&C - we ate on the patio and the food was great...I believe both of us got the Surf and Turf - service was awesome too. We did have a table overlooking the Lagoon - with a view from Mexico to France.
50's was good - service wasn't like everyone says at least the time we went - I think they kind of feel you out somewhat - when I went it seemed like the larger families got more attention than just a couple.
Tony's was good food too, typical italian fare - it was nice to sit on the glass patio instead of the resturant itself - totally different feel.
I forgot to say I got my first ever "save the date" last week...we haven't been to many weddings, but a coworker is getting married the first weekend in August and they made a "save the date" card. It made me happy to be invited:goodvibes she didn't have to do that.
I'll be doing this in this years Christmas cards!

Good morning :)

I do not have to work today & the boys are home.

We did not get the snow that was being forecast, thank goodness. Right now it is just icy out, but I am sure this will melt soon. My truck stayed in the driveway :rotfl:

I need to do laundry today & I am going to cook a pot of chili in the slow cooker. I want to have this over corn chips with some cheese, yum! I always make to much, so I will add macaroni to the leftover to make some chili mac.

You'll be close to us for Memorial Weekend! Unfortunately, we'll probably be off visiting my parents.

I'm glad that the truck didn't try to escape in the middle of the night! :rotfl:

We are having more more rain here! There is still a winter storm warning, but it looks like it would have been safe to travel this weekend after all. I always make the wrong decisions. :sad2:

I've never heard of chili mac before. I will try it next time, since I always make too much chili, too. It always disappears, though, so I guess the boys like chili leftovers.

I picked up the new prescription to help me sleep yesterday. The pharmasist said to take it 1/2 hour before wanting to sleep. I took it at 10 PM last night, by 11 PM it hadn't worked (the doctor said it might take 2) so I took another. The end result was extreme dry mouth (worse than I have ever experienced. It was difficult to breath as my mouth was so dry. I needed water every 5 minutes) and I was still awake at 3:30 this morning :furious: So now I have 5 kids in the house and I got about 3 hours of sleep :sad2: :crazy2: I'm thinking that after my weekend this is not a good way to start the week. So far they have been pretty good. I think I'll take a nap with the little ones later just for sanity purposes. Oh yeah, the phone rang at 8 am and it was a coworker. She wanted me to switch nights as the weather is bad today and she wanted to stay home and have me work tonight and she would work thursday night. I told her no way. I've already covered for her the last 2 weeks while she was on vacation and I don't feel like finding someone to watch the kids for an hour this afternoon and I'm tired. I keep telling myself that it is ok to say no, but I still feel guilty:rolleyes2 I really hate working when it is slow and Mondays are always the slowest night of the week and with bad weather I would go :crazy2:

I spoke to the Dr.s office this morning and they are prescribing a new med. I have to tell you that after last night I am leary about trying new meds. I certainly won't try it for a couple of nights. Back to tylenol PM for a couple of nights.

The kids are looking for breakfast so I'd better get moving.

Have a nice day.

Deb
