I can certainly commiserate with her. My drive is 50 miles one way.

Well, if you go, you, me and Stephanie will have to meet up!

YIKES! I cannot imagine its traffic free either. How long does it take you. It generally takes her at least 1 1/2 hours, often over 2 to get to work.

I definately have to meet you & Stephanie!

Janet - I think DS would really enjoy that! He never really eats anything no matter where we go, but I thik he will ike the show & the atmosphere.

Tammi - Good night!

I hope not. He still asks way too many questions :rotfl2: I was amazed at how he played with all the options until he got the exact firework that he wanted. He changed the color, size, points, tail and i have not idea what else. He still has trouble erasing backgrounds so He asks for help with that.

What program are you using??

That is what I need someone to help me when I have questions, I feel like I spend the entire time fumbling around with what I am looking for, to do what I want. I have looked at tutorials and try to use them as I am designing but I still spend alot of time looking through them.

I think I am going to call it a night. I am hoping to get to work early & get home before the next storm hits. It is suppose to get in the 30's, so maybe some of the ice will melt & I can get up the driveway.

The motorcade with Daniel will be going by around 12:30, so I will wait for this.

Night all

So I had a talk with my friend yesterday about "our" trip. She told me she's looking for a new job. She's been where we are for 10 years. Originally she thought she'd be there 1 but then she got "comfortable" there and then at about 5 years her Mom was diagnosed with Alzhiemers so she spent all her energy taking care of her Mom-she was in assisted living. And at the same time was rebuilding her own home. Then she started looking for a new job again and her Mom died. She's been busy settling her estate the past year and a half. Now she feels she's ready again. I really hope she finds something. I will miss her but she's currently driving 55 miles each way to work and its not an easy comute-awful traffic. She says she will absolutely go if she doesn't have a new job.

So I told my DH she was looking for a new job and that I wanted to go alone and he wasn't bothered by that at all. I've got the room booked and will keep my eyes out for good airfare. My friend can decide to join me at anytime. I think she may very well join me but I'm not afraid to go alone.

Bernadette,

I must admit being by myself was really fun this time. I met up with Stephanie and her sister but was able to go off and ride a few rides I wanted while they did their thing and then we would meet for meals, parades and other stuff.
You will be just fine.

Good night, Janet! I hope the weather cooperates! DH is sleeping - I'm not quite sure what his plan is. I am going to go watch the news in 5 minutes and see what has changed since 6 PM.

I said those were my favorites. ;)

Check out the one of just Alyssa. The photographer asked her to hold the duck, and Alyssa promptly dropped it at least three times. The girl finally just took the photo. That's one mischievous smile on my daughter's face and the duck is face-down. :)

:lmao: Reminds me of someone I know! Those pictures are wonderful!!!

Amy - What sweet pics! Matthew looks a lot like you! Babies usually look exactly like the dad, so it is interesting to see a little one who looks like Mom!
My mischievous little Emma has always been a little mini me. I should scan my baby picture to show you guys how much we look alike.

Thanks! I'm thinking about all the pictures I can take with no one waiting for me to compose my perfect shot. Lots of photos to take at the flower fest. Did you enjoy the rides alone? I'm thinking it must be "nicer" to share that with a friend.

:rotfl2: Would that really happen to anyone but you?:rotfl2:

I know, I do always have weird things happen to me.

I was not really bothered by it. I remember it because some of my friends who were sitting next to me, kept going the horse just $ hit in front of my face, over and over again. They kept making a big deal of how they couldn't eat their food and watch the show, they were bringing it up for awhile after the trip, because a horse took a dump right in front of them and it grossed them out and ruined the event for them.:upsidedow

Okay, here's a brief synopsis on what's been going on in the Hardman household since the New Year:
-We've all had the sniffles, but poor Matthew had it the worst, since he also had a double ear infection.
-Matthew has only been sleeping for 2-3 hours at a time at night for the past few weeks (teething).
-Kevin got a promotion at the prosecutor's office and a raise!
-Kevin is also the lead in the community play (Alan in Neil Simon's Come Blow Your Horn).
-Alyssa's current favorite Disney movie is Tarzan. She still names us all characters, but it changes several times a day.
-Alyssa doesn't seem to understand that some of the toys belong to Matthew.
-I am absolutely exhausted.
-Our Disney trip is less than a month away!

Again, I apologize for not being around to show my support to you all. I know I've missed a lot of joy and sorrow. Please know you're in my thoughts. :goodvibes

We are using Photoimpact 10. It is pretty user friendly. Colby even uses the drawing/coloring feature and he can do a lot all by himself.

It needs some chocolate syrup. And a spoon!

Well this was what I was originally going to post, but she said vanilla.

You can even pick a fun spoon of your choice

Thanks, I don't hear that very often. :goodvibes Most people say both kiddos look just like Kevin, but I see myself in them when I look at my baby pictures.

Stephanie would not do RnRC so I did that. I kept asking myself what I was doing while standing in line but I really did like it. Screamed the whole time but it was worth it. I also did Thunder Mountain which I had wanted to do.--screamed on that one too :lmao: Since I had only one day per park, I wanted to do some rides that I knew she would have time later with her sister. She was finally recovered from her ankle so I was able to get around faster by myself practically doing the straight legged--stiff arm walk :lmao:

As for pictures, I really enjoyed that because I could really just take my time and not be in anyones way. But move from line to line really fast since it was only me. It was cute, some families made me go first.

I guess I'm heading to bed too. I just told Chris that I'm worn out. Colby is just pushing all of my buttons all day everyday then trying to juggle the older boys, housework, work and everything in between. Colby was extremely whiny tonight and he was supposed to stay at my parents with his brothers. By the time I got them all packed and over there, their ready bed blown up (by mouth not less) and them all settled in he decided that he wanted to come home. He has a cold and I know that he was overtired. My Mother thinks that he is just a Mama's Boy, but she sure didn't try to convence him to stay. He cried off and on about everything for about an hour of the hour and a half that I was there. I came home, did a load of laundry, cleaned the cat water fountain and sort bills. Chris gave Colby all of his attention for a good hour then told colby what a good boy he was. Well Duh, if I sat down with him playing, giving him 100% attention and ignoring everything that needed to be done I'm sure he would be good for me too. Apparently I'm the only one living in reality. Sorry to vent, but it is that or just breaking down crying. I have definitely over ate today too. I may need to skip weigh in on Tuesday if I don't get control very soon. Hopefully sleep will be my friend and I also hope that the runny nose that I am having is just a one day thing.

The last one I got off the CB. It was pretty much tell us as much or as little about yourself as you see fit.

What was the last one? I don't remember another one recently. I don't mind answering them and I always enjoy seeing what the others answer.

I have that, I think my problem more than anything is I never sit and play with it, and instead always want to do something and it has to be done by a certain time and in my mind I know how and want it and can't do it how I want it and you know how that goes. I also have program confusion because I have used various other programs in the past and think this was always at such and such a spot, but that was another program which I am not realizing at this time.

I really need to just sit and play so I can figure out where things are in this program.:thumbsup2 So when I want to do something specific I know where things are.
