I guess I'm heading to bed too. I just told Chris that I'm worn out. Colby is just pushing all of my buttons all day everyday then trying to juggle the older boys, housework, work and everything in between. Colby was extremely whiny tonight and he was supposed to stay at my parents with his brothers. By the time I got them all packed and over there, their ready bed blown up (by mouth not less) and them all settled in he decided that he wanted to come home. He has a cold and I know that he was overtired. My Mother thinks that he is just a Mama's Boy, but she sure didn't try to convence him to stay. He cried off and on about everything for about an hour of the hour and a half that I was there. I came home, did a load of laundry, cleaned the cat water fountain and sort bills. Chris gave Colby all of his attention for a good hour then told colby what a good boy he was. Well Duh, if I sat down with him playing, giving him 100% attention and ignoring everything that needed to be done I'm sure he would be good for me too. Apparently I'm the only one living in reality. Sorry to vent, but it is that or just breaking down crying. I have definitely over ate today too. I may need to skip weigh in on Tuesday if I don't get control very soon. Hopefully sleep will be my friend and I also hope that the runny nose that I am having is just a one day thing.

Deb

Poor Deb!!!pixiedust:

I understand...hope tomorrow is a better day.

I called Disney Shopping and they are crediting the cost of the topper to my credit card. I don't even need to mail the broken one back :thumbsup2 I'm glad that I called.

Now I really need to do some housework. The laundry sure piles up fast.

Deb

Glad to hear it, Deb. I've found that they've always been more than accomodating. I had to send 2 things back last month (one was slightly damaged, and the other was a wrong size they didn't correct in time), and they sent me the new/right one out right away, plus sent me postage-paid seals to affix to my package when returning the damaged/wrong ones. :thumbsup2

Hello

Julia and I went to the HSM concert tonight - we had a GREAT time

I will have to admit - I was pretty disappointed that Zach wasn't there - but since Drew Seely sings his songs in the movie anyway - it didn't really change the sound at all!!!

Ashley Tisdale was our favorite - she seems to remember that she is a teenager and what her fan base is - she seemed to have the most fun

Lucas Grabeel was hilarious and had a lot of fun too!

Vanessa seems to think 20 year old boys are her target audience and that she should act as slutty as possible - although she seemed to have toned it down for this concert versus when we saw her with the Cheetah girls

Glad you had fun...I really do wish it was coming anywhere near us!!

here is Nick's design. He hopes that you like it and is reading over my shoulder to see what you all have to say.

Wow Nick! That's really great! :dance3: :dance3:

With that....

I am off!!

For those experiencing bad weather....Please stay safe!!

For those of us who are having bad days...hopefully sleep will help!!

For those of us who are suffering from a loss...:grouphug:

to all my DDA family....you all are a great bunch of friends!!

Good Morning!!:flower3:

Hi, all!

Just through catching up. A couple of things:

Amy and Kristin - nice to see you both!

Amy - love the new pics! Your kids are just too cute (of course, I don't have to get up with them in the middle of the night! ;) )

Chris and Deb - fabulous designs! I voted! :thumbsup2

Nick - great design, too! You are going to give your mom and dad a run for their money! :yay: :yay: :yay:

For everyone else - :grouphug: pixiedust:

Ironically, even with an "ice storm" ongoing, this was probably my most productive Saturday in a while. Got my hair cut, ran a bunch of errands, took Ally to get micro-chipped at the SPCA, made some Christmas returns, and stocked up on groceries. Elizabeth, if it makes you feel better, in my driving all over DFW today, the roads were not a concern whatsoever (although the weather guys would have you believe otherwise  ). Tomorrow could get interesting though!

With that, I'm heading to bed. It was actually a pretty good day, but then I had an argument with my mom over the phone, which was frustrating and made me pretty mad. She proceeded to spend the bulk of the conversation obsessing over the jerky behavior of my 25-year old brother (which is usually all she does), and then had the audacity to tell me that she thinks I'm obsessed with Disney and "should go see someone" when I mentioned that we were going to WDW for that quick weekend in March.

Of course, I then retorted that she was obsessed with my brother, and even if I do have a Disney obsession, at least Disney makes me happy, doesn't lie or manipulate me, and doesn't treat or make me feel like cra* on a daily basis, which didn't go off so well. :sad2: Ugh. Nothing like family to really brighten a day!

Goodnight DDA!

Well, i just got home from babysitting--very easy night! The girls and i played games and watched football--i am sooo happy with the ending to the Eagles game!!!

Now more football tomorrow :)

As for pictures, I really enjoyed that because I could really just take my time and not be in anyones way. But move from line to line really fast since it was only me. It was cute, some families made me go first.
I don't think I'll be standing in line to get MY photo taken but I'll be spending lots of time taking photos.

Okay, here's a brief synopsis on what's been going on in the Hardman household since the New Year:
-We've all had the sniffles, but poor Matthew had it the worst, since he also had a double ear infection.
-Matthew has only been sleeping for 2-3 hours at a time at night for the past few weeks (teething).
-Kevin got a promotion at the prosecutor's office and a raise!
-Kevin is also the lead in the community play (Alan in Neil Simon's Come Blow Your Horn).
-Alyssa's current favorite Disney movie is Tarzan. She still names us all characters, but it changes several times a day.
-Alyssa doesn't seem to understand that some of the toys belong to Matthew.
-I am absolutely exhausted.
-Our Disney trip is less than a month away!

Again, I apologize for not being around to show my support to you all. I know I've missed a lot of joy and sorrow. Please know you're in my thoughts. :goodvibes
Congrats to Kevin!!!!

pixiedust: Hope you can get some more sleep.

I know I have to be careful who I tell about my Disney trips. Everyone at work thinks I'm crazy. I just asked my boss for the days off in Dec-didn't tell him where I was going but since I was going with 2 other people from my department he did find out. At least he's a Disney fan so he likes to tease me about it but I think he's really just jealous.

Alyssa obviously slept too long in the van. She fell asleep on our way home and I just left her in there. She is wide awake, and she her bedtime is 9:00. I think she is going to turn into a nightowl.

She can live with Kristin at that point...

Amy - the pictures of the kids are just sensational! They are both so photogenic. :)

Thanks for catching us up, Amy. Congrats to Kevin on the promotion and his run on the stage. I would pay money to come see that!

One day you will sleep again, I promise. I remember thinking I would never sleep more than a couple of hours a night too. But this too shall pass.

Now the matter of being able to go to the bathroom alone.....

:grouphug: hope you feel better in the morning, Deb, and I also hope you can get to the bottom of what seems to be bothering Colby.
