Ahh - I've heard of it. I may have actually even ordered a cake from them before. Were they formerly located in Preston Center?

No -- they were out of the original owner's house before they moved to their location now. Are you thinking of Aston's?

Bernadette - You pictures are great! I really like the Santa ones!

So I'm back from the dentist. He told me he is really not a TMJ expert, gave me a bunch of literature to read, suggested a bite guard (which cost me $30!), and suggested I make an appt. with an orthodontist, as my bite was off. $45 dollars later I was out the door. So then I got home and find out this dental bite guard is essentially the same thing that I buy at Sports Authority for Nicholas when he plays soccer. Those are just a few bucks!

I think I'm going to keep him home from school tomorrow. His fever is down, but that's probably because of the tylenol. He is still congested and complaining of a sore throat. He was taking a good nap when I had to wake him up so we could leave for the dentist. I think he just gets so run down when he is with his dad, and his little body doesn't have the strength to fight off the germs. Thanks everyone for the good wishes and pd.

DS has informed me that he wants to see Fantasmic on our last night instead of IllumiNations. We only saw it once last August, and we skipped it in December. So we're good to do whatever.:) Are you interested in meeting for lunch or dinner, or for Fantasmic? I can get an ADR for all of us since my call window opens earlier, or we can track each other down in the Fantasmic theater. I am going to have Thursday be our MGM day, so we'll be around except for DH's naptime.;)

Bernadette - What are your thoughts?

I think we should try for meeting up at Fantasmic, that sounds like fun. I am so unsure of where we are eating right now but I do know for sure that we will be at Fantasmic.

Sounds good! I think we will probably do the FDP at Hollywood & Vine, but if you guys decide not to do the package we can all sit together in some section other than the reserved one. DS will really enjoy having your kids to talk to while we wait for the show.:)

I haven't charted out my days yet but I'll just make the 23rd MGM. I think my DH would enjoy H&V but my kids LOVE Sci Fi for lunch. Don't they make you do FDP pretty early-like 4:30 or something? I don't know if we'd be up for that even if we got an 11:00 lunch at Sci Fi. Maybe we would....DH would LOVE H&V. And it would be fun to have dinner with you. I think only Lizzy & I would actually go to Fantasmic though. Joe saw videos I took in May and said he didn't want to see the scary parts. When I told him it was all or nothing he chose nothing. He may be "braver" by August. Emma doesn't even like to listen to the videos from across the room so I won't take her yet. Joe was watching some old Mickey cartoons tonight and she was hiding under my desk.

SO...I guess I better get going on my schedule. When can I start calling for ADR's?

For those of you who have done iron ons...I have a question or 2. I used the dark transfer paper from eBay. I noticed that many of the shirts bled after washing. I tried different things...cold water, warm water, gentle etc. Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions? Since I am doing shirts for 11 people in December, it bums me out that they won't look good after just 1 washing!!

I used to get that way too when I went to my dad's...except mine was chronic flare ups of bronchitis that was actually asthma.

Poor little guy!!

How frustrating for you! :wizard: Hope you find relief soon.

You should try using the same photopass card in both Jan & May.

Did you get the email from Southwest about their special anniversary dings? Wouldn't that be cool to win one of those prices? I still haven't decided if I should fly SW out of Providence or Jet Blue out of Logan in May. I am sure I'll be going but it won't feel real until I buy airfare. I haven't even thought about wether I'd want to do any ADR's. I can't see myself eating alone. I think I'd like to sample a few more CS and snack options. I may make an ADR for breakfast at the CP. I didn't do that in Dec (dinner instead) and I just love that one.

Alyssa is having such a fun time playing with PM Andy. She loves dressing him up. Last night she even got out of bed because she forgot to put Mickey to bed. I see one of these in our future. Although I'm not sure he would be as fun without all of the accessories that came with Andy.

Well, I think there are one or two of us that could help her expand his wardrobe! :lmao:

The colors from the transfer bled, like ran into other colors? Or faded? Can you post a picture or what happened?

No I haven't heard about that with SW yet. I'll have to look into it. Good idea about the photopasses! :thumbsup2

Sending PD and prayers to all the DDA and their families who are sick! :wizard:

no, they didn't fade...the colors bled into the white parts of the transfer.

Example, this design, the colors of the frame, bled into the picture of us

Hm, I'm interested in this, too. I've never used the dark transfer paper, yet, but plan to for our June trip.

Did you wash the shirts before using the transfers? Is it the picture that's bleeding or the shirt color that's bleeding? I hope someone can answer this question.

Hm, that's really odd. I hope someone has a solution for you.

yes, I washed the shirts prior to doing the iron ons. It's not the shirts themselves that are bleeding. It is strictly the colors on the actual transfer paper that is bleeding.
