Well, I am back from Target and the grocery. This is the first day I have driven the new car NOT in the rain! One taillight has water in it, and one window has some bubbling in the tint. (Things we wouldn't have been able to see with the car all wet.) I will be taking that up with the dealership tomorrow.

Tammi - Sorry about the weather! Freezing rain freezes when it hits the ground, sleet is already frozen and hits the ground in little pellets. I learned that last week. I hope the dentist can give you some help with your jaw!

Lindsay - I took my dress to Shmalzreid (or something like that) to have it preserved. I saw them at a bridal show. I think Dee & Hattie's does dresses as well.

Denise - You look very pretty in your wedding pics! I hope you and Marti have an outstanding trip!!

Deb & Chris - Why don't you BOTH parasail with Nick, then he gets 2 turns!

Jen - Hope you enjoy the game! The baked Lays are pretty tasty. The rippled Lays made with sunflower oil are icky. Right now I am having some bite size Tostitos and salsa. MMMMM!

Robyn - I hope your insomnia goes away soon! It is maddening to just watch the hours go by on the clock while you are WIDE awake, knowing when it is time to get up you will be exhausted!

DH is making shrimp and baby spinach over pasta for dinner. Right now he is at Sam's looking for coffee! Both Target and the gorcery were out of Breakfast Blend. After that headache this morning I think I will drink Pepsi tomorrow if DH can't find Starbucks!

Well, I just got home about a half hour ago. The roads are getting bad. Passed one wipe-out and heard on the radio that there are vehicles in ditches all over the place. Can someone explain to me why, when we have known for 2 days that this was coming, none of the roads that I traveled today were treated? And believe it or not, xh called to ask how the roads are. When I told him he said he would be getting the kids ready to bring home soon. Miracles never cease!!

I was on my way home from the studio about 12:15 and there were already two accidents on Route 3. And then there was a car in the ditch on Ferry Road. I suspect that since VDOT put stuff down on Thursday night they figured they had covered themselves for the rest of the winter.

One year for Christmas we received Southern Comfort and Jack Daniels Coffee. UGH, they were absolutely digusting!



I am feeling better, but again last night I woke up at 2am and I think I fell back asleep around 7:30am and was up for good at 8am.

But did you try adding Southern Comfort and Jack Black to the coffee???

Robyn - I suspect you have a little nightowl growing inside you. Kristin used to start tap dancing about the time I was ready to go to bed at 11:00 and would keep it up till all hours of the morning. I don't know WHY I was surprised when she turned out to be a dyed-in-the-wool night person!

DH just showed me our old house in the paper. It is up for sale and they are asking a way more than what we sold it for and says they have completely remodeled it. Anyway I told DH I wanted to go look at it and see what they had done to it and he thinks I am crazy. I have a friend in real estate and she would take me over there if I ask her so I would not be wasting anyones time. So I thought I would see what you all thought.
