Well, I am back from Target and the grocery. This is the first day I have driven the new car NOT in the rain! One taillight has water in it, and one window has some bubbling in the tint. (Things we wouldn't have been able to see with the car all wet.) I will be taking that up with the dealership tomorrow.

Robyn - I hope your insomnia goes away soon! It is maddening to just watch the hours go by on the clock while you are WIDE awake, knowing when it is time to get up you will be exhausted!

DH is making shrimp and baby spinach over pasta for dinner. Right now he is at Sam's looking for coffee! Both Target and the gorcery were out of Breakfast Blend. After that headache this morning I think I will drink Pepsi tomorrow if DH can't find Starbucks!;)

Bummer on the car. Our has to go back this week too. Our power adjustable seat only goes up on one side making it very difficult to drive.

I am so ready for bed now but afraid I'll be up again if I go now.

Tonight at 8:00 EST on Discovery channel and Animal Planet, Steve Irwin's last documentary. :sad1:

Thanks for the heads up.

But did you try adding Southern Comfort and Jack Black to the coffee??? :rotfl:

Robyn - I suspect you have a little nightowl growing inside you. Kristin used to start tap dancing about the time I was ready to go to bed at 11:00 and would keep it up till all hours of the morning. I don't know WHY I was surprised when she turned out to be a dyed-in-the-wool night person! :confused3

Please God NO!! I was terribly spoiled by Molly~ she slept through the night at 3 weeks and would only wake up when she had an ear infection. And then she got tubes and that took care of that!

 how sweet

How sweet!

But it is funny :rotfl:

Hopefully she won't be too disappointed!!

DH just showed me our old house in the paper. It is up for sale and they are asking a way more than what we sold it for and says they have completely remodeled it. Anyway I told DH I wanted to go look at it and see what they had done to it and he thinks I am crazy. I have a friend in real estate and she would take me over there if I ask her so I would not be wasting anyones time. So I thought I would see what you all thought.

I would go just because you can!!

I tried a different recipe for Shepards Pie. It was pretty good & Garrett had a 2cds(he is a picky eater). Here is the recipe for anyone who might want to try it. This is from Family Fun recipes:

Southwestern Shepherd's Pie

1-1/2 cups lean ground beef
3/4 cup minced onion
1/3 cup saltine cracker crumbs
1 egg, slightly beaten
3 tbsp. milk
1 tbsp. chili powder
3/4 tsp. salt
3 cups prepared mashed potatoes
One 11-ounce can whole kernel corn with red and green peppers, drained
1/4 cup thinly sliced scallions
1/2 to 1 cup shredded taco-seasoned cheese
1. In large bowl, combine beef, onion, crackers, egg, milk, chili powder and salt, mixing lightly but thoroughly; gently press into bottom of 9" square baking pan. Bake 20 to 25 minutes at 375 degrees or until no longer pink and juices run clear. Carefully pour off drippings.

2. Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, combine potatoes, corn and scallions. Spread over meatloaf to edges of pan; sprinkle with cheese. Broil 3 to 4 inches from heat 3 to 5 minutes or until top is lightly browned; cut into 6 rectangles. Makes 6 servings.

I did not use scallions & I only had regular corn on hand. I also used regular shredded cheese. I added the corn to the meat mixture.

Well I am off for the night.. The girls are a bit rambunctious, you'd think they've been snowed in for days. We are headed to the bath and then bed.

Have a great evening!

I think a single serving is 11 or 13 chips. Garrett laughs at me when I count them out :rotfl: But if I eat out of the bag, I wouldn't stop.

I love the baked lays, but I love them so much I can easily overeat on them too.

That's why weight watchers works for me, because I have to count and weigh and measure and track everything, which holds me accountable. Otherwise I would just keep eating way past where I should.

Hope you can get some rest tonight Robyn :wizard:

I would. When I was up home visiting my parents, we saw that my grandmother's old house was on the market, so we went. Now in our situation it was a disappointment, because the new owners had let it go, but it was nice to relieve some memories by seeing it again.

Well, I think I have figured out why my jaw hurts. I caught myself yelling at the kids with clenched teeth and afterwards I could really feel it in my jaw. Oh boy.

Just checked the website....no school tomorrow.

Hi Kate .Its Been a while i am looking for your name list with the characters..I am looking for Angelika one with the princess and reg .Sons girl is going with and id like to make a shirt for her also ..

remember when I asked you if you clench your teeth together? I subconsciously do it whenever I am irritated at anything...I was wondering if you were doing it w/out even realizing it

Yep. Who knew?

The year I was divorcing Jeff I swear I thought I was going to need a jaw transplant. I think I had clenched teeth for a solid year! :rotfl:
That's what started this tonight. First, the kids stay up late at night so when they get home they are tired and cranky and whiney and fussy. Then Nicholas was getting over his stuffy nose and his dad let him play out in the snow today in his tennis shoes, which are now soaking wet. Needless to say he has been sniffling all evening. The most frustrating part is that I can't stop his stupid way of parenting. Oh well, at least they will get to sleep in in the morning. At least I hope they do!
