Now if we could just let this guy have a diet coke we're on to something....

:surfweb:

And be able to spit it out on the screen...

I see we now have one for use by the Royal DDA welcomer too :welcome:

:wave2: Kate - glad everything went ok yesterday :grouphug:

I am using Clare's autograph pages for Disney and they are absolutely wonderful.

My question is does anyone have pages made for Universal? We are going to Universal two days while we are in Orlando (our first trip to Universal) and I know my DS will want autographs. He watchs a lot of Nickolodan and will love all of these characters as well. So if anyone has any pages I could use/copy I would really appreciate it. I have not exactly mastered the art of making my own. I can do it but it takes me forever to make one. (just don't have time before we go.)

I have posted this on the Universal board but have gotten no response. Anyone out there???

Kate have a save trip home.

Marti have a happy birthday and a great Disney trip.

I tried to make a few but universal clip art is few and far between so I gave up. Maybe we should start a list of characters you can see there and then get googling?

I know you can see Shrek and Fiona - and the flintstones? I didn't really see any characters at all while we were there to be honest...

Just testing out the smilies that seem to be broken elsewhere...

Do they work now?

I just received word that SIL is out of surgery, but still unconscious and in recovery. The tumor was mostly on the surface, and they were able to remove it without any problems with speech (we knew that it was sitting on a speech center and SIL had to be partially alert during surgery so that they could make sure speech was still ok). The doctor warned that this type of tumor could reapper in 10-15 years but was very upbeat about how everything went today!!!

Thank you all for your kind words and concern.

Beth

What wonderful news! I am seeing new smileys and decided to throw a party for your good news! party:

I need to ask you all for some pixie dust and prayers. (Although mine seems so small in comparison with the others the last couple of days) I found out last night that my husband will be going in to his last day of work this morning. They are closing the store that he is working at with little notice to everyone. This wouldn't be to big of a deal if I knew he would actually go out and look for another job but it took seven months of sitting on his hiney to even look for this job....AND as you can see from my signature we are trying to go to WDW this summer for our first trip. Hard to do that on just my income.

So I am a little stressed out :earseek: !!

Yesterday though I made a funny typo in the Sunday bulletin for all to see. For the Men's Retreat I put the meeting place as Templed HELLS instead of Templed Hills. Can't wait to hear about that on Monday.

Thanks for letting me vent.

Sending you PD and prayers!

I just priced out on American. Dec 1 - Dec. 10...$178. I think I'm going to go ahead and book it.

Wow! That's a great rate. I don't blame you for booking it now.

I am jealous since I haven't found anything nearly that good for August. :yoda: (The name of this smiley is Yoda - but I think that it looks "green with envy.")

Kate - I'm glad things yesterday went ok. You were in my thoughts all day long. Those kind of things are never easy, but I'm sure having the whole family together made things better.

Theresa - I'm sending lots of :wizard: your way so your husband will find a job! It's never fun to be facing that kind of uncertainty. Good luck.

Marti - I said it yesterday, but I'll say it again. Have a wonderful trip! You and Paul deserve this! Take it easy and comfortable, and don't forget, you're celebrating for all of us born in January!

I hope I haven't missed anyone else. Sometimes it's hard to keep up with everything, but I'm trying.

Have a great day everyone! DH is taking me out for my birthday today. First I get to go with him while he films some Luge runners training in Park City, then we'll wander the streets of Park City, and try to hobnob with the celebrities that are in town for Sundance, and then, finally, a nice dinner. And by nice, I mean one that will sit well with me. Steak it is! :yay:

party: Happy Birthday, Glynis!!!party:

Steffy- I wouldn't worry about POP Warner week since your going DVC. We only avoided that week since we are staying at POR and a lot of them are there too!

I hope that's all!- Have a great weekend!!

So you would go that week if you were staying somewhere else?? Thanks for replying! party:

We went during Pop Warner in 2005. We stayed at the Dolphin so we did not have any issues with the kids. The parks were great. We have always been in the summer months before and now I will take the kids out of school to go again. I would highly recommend going then....weather great, parks great, and Christmas decorations are wonderful. Have fun :cool1:
Debbie

Whew!! Thanks so much. I feel better now. So the kids in the parks aren't bad, just at the values and moderates. Whew.

Now I can start planning. party:

We were there too for Pop in ASMo. The busses were crowded, but I didn't really notice any difference in the parks.

So it's not the nightmare I heard it was? Good! Because that week works out perfectly for me...... party: Thanks MMM!

LOL You're welcome! Hahahaha, look at this smiley: :hippie: Honestly though, other than the bus, it wasn't that bad. You obviously knew which were the cheerleaders as they would all be wearing matching team workout clothes or something, but we didn't really notice more crowding in the parks. Haha, jut found another: :thanks: Yes, ::yes:: I'm easily amused. :santa:
