Now if we could just let this guy have a diet coke we're on to something....

Steffy said:Thanks Marti!I'm a little obssesed with my vacations. (have I found a home or what??) I have a tendency to overplan and over worry. You are absolutley right. I'll plan the vacation so that I can enjoy it. I know she'll have fun. I want to do Wishes!!!, Osborne Lights, Candlelight Processional, MVMCP, dinner at LTT before the party. I'm trying to decide between Chef's of France, Rose and Crown or Le Cellier for the CP package.
I know she'll love Mama Melrose for the Fantasmic package. So that's 4 late nights already! It's going to be hard enough to drag her butt out of the bed before noon as it is, so CS lunch and then a late dinner will be perfect for our touring plans. I can pretty well forget park openings, unless she surprises me.
I'm overworrying about the room, when in reality, she will be so blown away with the castle and Spaceship Earth, and the monorail and just everything, she won't notice the room that much! And she wants to go so much, she would have been happy at HoJos. What does she know? She's never been!
She has nothing to compare it to!![]()
I'll save the points and the jacuzzi tub for my big family trip in May... My DD and DS and their spouses and kids will appreciate it. They have all been and would know what a treat it was.
I am so glad I can come here and whine....![]()

Marti, you have a Happy Birthday![]()
and enjoy your all adult trip. I didn't think I could go to Disney without my DGD, but I did and we had the time of our lives!

I hope you do too!
your way so your husband will find a job! It's never fun to be facing that kind of uncertainty. Good luck.
Wouldn't you know my DH just picked this moment to glance at the screen? He didn't see this part of your post, thank goodness, or I'd have had some 'splainin' to do!julia & nicks mom said:AND I AM SO FLATTERED!!

Well, I'm chaperoning the high school band trip, we leave early am - (going to Wisconsin Dells indoor water park)
It was so beautiful, I had to try and capture the memory - so I was so shocked that it actually turned out (I'm a point and shoot kinda girl - I turned knobs, and clicked!!)
The stick in the middle is my 5year old Red Maple tree - app 5'5" tall - the blob in the lower left is our mailbox, I'm in the street!! Snowplows finally showed up!!

But since we saw the room at POP where my two sisters stayed, we decided it didn't matter. Still lots of room to spread out our things.
ixiedust and it didn't stop from then on. I think this was supposed to be for Steffy.karebear1 said:Tammi I say go for the 7 days and tell your sister to do her relaxing at the pool! You're so lucky to be going with your sister! Especially because she's never been there before. You can plan so many cool things to do. An all adult trip is really different then one with the kids!
I've never been to the parks when it's Pop Warner time, so, sorry, I can't answer that for you. When isnthat anyway? It honestly sounds like it's the only time you can go comfortably, so I say go for it. You'll make it fun and you'll have fun no matter when you go anyway!
So sorry about this, Theresa. Here are some prayers andbabytrees said:I need to ask you all for some pixie dust and prayers. (Although mine seems so small in comparison with the others the last couple of days) I found out last night that my husband will be going in to his last day of work this morning. They are closing the store that he is working at with little notice to everyone. This wouldn't be to big of a deal if I knew he would actually go out and look for another job but it took seven months of sitting on his hiney to even look for this job....AND as you can see from my signature we are trying to go to WDW this summer for our first trip. Hard to do that on just my income.
So I am a little stressed out!!
Yesterday though I made a funny typo in the Sunday bulletin for all to see. For the Men's Retreat I put the meeting place as Templed HELLS instead of Templed Hills. Can't wait to hear about that on Monday.
Thanks for letting me vent.

I know what you mean. My DD3 loves to watch Marti's Steamboat Willie. She calls it the "movin' Mickey."Glynis said:Hope no one minds this. He loves to watch them dance, etc.

My dad lost his job during my first year of college. Since big bro was a senior, he got to stay and I had to come home until he finished. But he got another job and we survived (and I did go back to college!) Best Wishes!

We went during Pop Warner in 2005. We stayed at the Dolphin so we did not have any issues with the kids. The parks were great. We have always been in the summer months before and now I will take the kids out of school to go again. I would highly recommend going then....weather great, parks great, and Christmas decorations are wonderful. Have fun![]()

Snow update- we got about a foot, but I live up near the WI/IL border so we never got the initial rain that some of you farther south got- ours just started as snow.
