I just realized that I have passed 1000 posts and didn't even know it

I was on the DIS for many years and had accumulated only a little over 200 posts until you all came along. I also felt as if I only read and then responded infrequently.

You all have been a bright spot in the past few months for me and I have loved getting to know you as friends.

Just got home from the kids' carnival at school. It was great, and the kids had so much fun. The foot stool I painted for my class I teach sold for $100! And the best news is, I won Davis' foot stool!!!!! I got it for $36, so DH was extremely happy. Davis is thrilled as well. Mission accomplished!

I'm so glad you got Davis' stool. Cross one thing off the worry list

Winter in Vermont. It was 50 degrees here today. I finally got out and took down all our outside decorations. Can you believe that this is the first nice weekend day we have had since Christmas. It either is 10 degrees or pouring rain. Glad to have that done. Now we are going through all our new DVC info. So exciting. . To get the most of our points it looks like 2 weeks in a one bedroom in July 2007 and 3 weeks at the campground in June 2008. That should be about 35 days off an annual pass. That sounds like the best use of our disney $$.

Where in Vermont are you? I'm from Mexico but I studied 10th grade (1985-1986) in Newport, VT. I have so many wonderful memories from my stay there. I dream of going back some day.

I need to ask you all for some pixie dust and prayers. (Although mine seems so small in comparison with the others the last couple of days) I found out last night that my husband will be going in to his last day of work this morning. They are closing the store that he is working at with little notice to everyone. This wouldn't be to big of a deal if I knew he would actually go out and look for another job but it took seven months of sitting on his hiney to even look for this job....AND as you can see from my signature we are trying to go to WDW this summer for our first trip. Hard to do that on just my income.

So I am a little stressed out !!

Yesterday though I made a funny typo in the Sunday bulletin for all to see. For the Men's Retreat I put the meeting place as Templed HELLS instead of Templed Hills. Can't wait to hear about that on Monday.

Steffy: Thanks for the note. You are so sweet to be taking your sister. I also agree on the studio for more time. There is so much to do, I would hate for you to have to cut her time short.

Hi Bev,

Yes I just spoke to her. I had sent her a tshirt THANKS DENISE!!, the priceless one that Denise created. Denise had made a few changes for me. Well she got it on Friday. She called and thanked me, said it was cute.

I was a little bummed because she didn't sound really excited. So I called her today and told her that Mousefest days were up and we would probably miss it, but did she want French or Canadian food for the Candlelight Processional. And she says wait a minute... And she goes and gets the shirt. And she reads it. And then she says "You're taking me to Disney World!!!"

Duh!

I emailed my nephew and he is going to buy her the 7 day park hopper and give it to her when she goes out to see him next week.

We have the dining plan, so the CP and Fantasmic packages are done. So I just have to get the MVMCP tickets.

I am so excited.

Ours isn't small! My daughter LOVES turtles. She wanted one for years. She got one and it has grown and grown and grown. Our current goldfish have done the same thing. They are also breeding now! I've never seen anything like it. We've had goldfish in the past and they didn't do this. We must have something in the water now. Thank goodness it hasn't affected us humans.

glad that all worked out and you got the one you wanted, did it get rained out(hope not), our baseball tryouts did so we will try again tomorrow but probably have the same results.
