I think it is the sweetest thing ever that the 2 of you are here on the site, working your tails off to plan these trips. My DH loves Disney as much as I do, but would never in a million years put all this time into planning a trip.

On another note, airfare seems to be getting better by us. I just priced out more dummy dates for my trip and am down to $187 pp from Ohare on American. Starting on Monday I can actually use our real dates. If it's $187, I am jumping on them!!!!!!!!!

I purchased our airfare about 7 months ago. I got it for 176 r/t (Dayton,OH to Orlando) at that time, now for same flight its around 500. I am glad I got it when I did.

Well its worked out this time. Seems like since I have been off work, my wife is working more hours. She knows that our dd is taken care of and that she doesn't worry so much. Anyways, I have always been obessive compulsive about everything, and planning this trip is no exception.

What dummy dates did you use? We fly from Green Bay to Chicago to Orlando. With parking for us, we decided it was worth the extra money for the connecting flight out of Green Bay.

Well its worked out this time. Seems like since I have been off work, my wife is working more hours. She knows that our dd is taken care of and that she doesn't worry so much. Anyways, I have always been obessive compulsive about everything, and planning this trip is no exception.

My DH was ready to be a SAHD if I could find a job that paid enough. However, we wanted to live in the U.P. and it is hard to come by those kind of jobs. I didn't get the right job until the girls were too old to need a SAHD so he started his own business instead. Your daughter is very lucky to have this time with you. Enjoy every moment - it goes by too fast!!!!! I can't believe mine are 17 & 20 already. It seems like just yesterday they were 2 & 5.

i just had the most exhausting day i have ever had. i start student teaching this year and i toured the 2 schools my cluster will be at and met my teacher i will be with til march 2. long an busy day. oh yeah i need spanish lessons asap

Good luck! I sure remember the start of my student teaching! The first morning, I was at home, in tears, begging DH not to make me go! He had to ditch his classes to take me and sit in the car all day long to make sure I didn't bolt and run! After the first day, though, I was hooked, and had a great time with the staff at my school! It helped that it was a tiny school (by tiny, I mean the entire 12th grade consisted of 10 students). There just wasn't much to be intimidated by. Little did I know how sheep shearing season would cut into the student body, but that's another story.
