That is so cute! I love it. It's even better than what I had in mind. Do you think your wife would mind if borrowed her idea and adapted it a little to fit Terra's toyboyishness?

Not a problem at all! My little one sometimes acts likes a tomboy, but mostly thinks she is a princess! She came in the other day with mud on her shoes and made me IMMEDIATELY clean them! :goodvibes

You are going to let Alyssa get married before she is 30?!?!?!?! Julia is not allowed to date until she is 30 - which is what makes her arranged marriage with Davis so convenient - she won't have to date him

besides - how can they not love each other - I know she would have great in-laws - BK can be her MOH since Steve won't let me have a sister for Julia  - he loves Disney and he is a cutie pie - I am thinking the arranged marriage thing isn't such a bad idea at all!!! Do you know how long it would take her to find someone that perfect on her own?

Sounds good to me. How fun if we all were related. We'd have to make a lot of t-shirt for the wedding...

Julia begged me all day to make her a new t-shirt design - I know you all will love it and probably be running to get your shirts to make it in time for Thursday night!!! :teeth:

Disneyland is the original Magic Kingdom! :sunny: Now that there's a second park, they do refer to it as the Disneyland Resort, but most people will forever call the Magic Kingdom "Disneyland."

Yes, it is smaller, but there's a lot packed in there...so many original features that just can't compare to WDW's MK. There are also several unique rides that WDW never recreated like the Matterhorn, Alice, Casey...

We've been twice...it is a "must do" for every Disney fan!

Amy :)
We love the Matterhorn and Alice in Wonderland. I think the compactness makes it nice for little kids as far as walking. My original love is WDW as that's the one from my childhood but DL is great and the one my DH favors.

Amy is working on that for us since she lives closer. She said she would keep us informed on the situation.

6 pounds isn't that bad. :grouphug: Let us know how the ultrasound goes.

Amy - I know you're worried about the six pounds - but I can gain that on McDonald's drive through - and I'm not pregnant!

Tom -- you are your wife both have such creative talent -- that outfit is INCREDIBLE.

Have a great trip!

Love the outfit Tom and DW! Have a great time at the world - but I wouldn't order anything. I'd let the magic just happen - and it will. Be sure to stop at guest services at the entrance to each park and pick up her birthday button. Each park has one and that signals to cast members and characters that it is her special day. You'll have a great time - just remember to post pictures for us when you get back.

Hi, all. Been very busy past few days. We got Rees' final denial on Friday, and we hired supposedly the *best* disability lawyer in Atlanta to fight in in court. Worked all day today, just got home from ballet, and have choir in a few minutes. Also have been on the phone with the Special Ed program for Kindergarten getting Rees enrolled. Go tomorrow am to start that process. Have tons of paperwork to do by then, and then a lot afterwards so I may not be around much.

Just wanted to pop in and say hi!

Are there any designers out here that use Photoshop? I have an opportunity to take an 8 hr class on Photoshop, through work, and wondered if it would be worth it.

I would like that! I am learning while fooling around with it. I only have Elements, though, not the full Photoshop. If you decide to go with it, let us know if you get any helpful hints. I was thinking of looking around at adult ed. type classes for one myself.

My older step-daughter had a "guy-friend" come over to pick her up for a date. She was probably 15 or 16 at the time. Of course she wasn't ready for the date so the guy sat at the kitchen table with her dad, her older brother and his friend. I am sure he felt pretty intimated. Her dad told the guy that he had a shot gun and a shovel and he wasn't afraid to use either one. Well needless to say that was there one and only date. Is my husband a "redneck" or what!!! I was sitting in the other room and couldn't believe he said it. Well of course Melissa is 26 now and yes she survived all the taunts her Dad put her thru....I thought that was funny though.

Another funny date story.......My dad always told me that when I turned 16 and could car date to be sure they guys had really nice back seats. That turned me about 3 shades of red and I explained that I would not be in the back seat. He said that was good 'cause that is where he would be sitting..... :rotfl2: I can still laugh about that one.

Lynn
Too funny. My step-dad used to hate it when we talked to boys on the sidewalk in the summer evenings(I was 13 or 14) so he would start doing yardwork the look on his face when he snapped those big trimmers would usually scare the boys off. If not, he pulled out the chainsaw to trim a branch. :rotfl2: Funny after 3 daughters. I surprised there are any trees left in the yard.

As my daughter was eating lunch today, I asked her what she was going to eat at Disney World. She responded by saying "cake". I asked her why cake? She said, "Because it is going to be my Birthday!"
O.K., I know I read this on the DisBoards before, but frankly don't have the time to research it right now. I completely forgot to order a cake for her. Is this really necessary? Is it too late for me now? Man, I thought I was better than this. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks

I don't have the answer for you (and I'm sure others have answered by now), but I just think it is so cute how children think sometimes. Good thing you had that conversation, huh?

You are going to have a terrific time! I can't wait to see your photos!

Hi, Denise! I'm glad you popped in. I have faith that everything is going to work out in the end for you, but there may be a bumpy road in the middle. If you ever need anything that I can do long distance (and with no skills), just let me know.
