Many thanks to those who have recently sent cards and Holiday wishes, Ellen, Vicki, Lindsay, Jen, Denise, and Elin.

Elin and Tammi - Hope your trips are safe, we'll miss you while you're gone.

Robyn - Sorry to hear of your loss


I don't know what I was thinking, but I am now knee deep in cookies and have four more batches to make. I'm planning on giving some to each of the family units this Christmas, but I bought small containers. I guess the folks at work will be getting some more.

It has been discussed in the past but never planned. Depending on when it is I would be up for a NYC meet.

Kate had mentioned she might be in NYC in August? Hows that? I will be in WDW starting 8/20 so maybe something the 1st or 2nd week of August?

I am still hoping to go to NYC with Steve on a business trip in the summer! I really hope we can have lunch!!

Oh, they are!!! I've been taking plates of goodies to my neighbors, and those are the most requested recipe. Nobody believes me when I tell them how simple they are.

WOW, my eyes are tired. You all had quite a posting spree the last few days. I haven't had a chance to get on and DIS as I have been playing major catch up since being sick. I am not quite there yet but thankfully don't have too much to wrap and get ready for Christmas. I won't be around til probably Saturday as one of my mom's cousins was killed, he had a stroke while driving and hit a truck, on Monday and his funeral is tomorrow. It is 3 hours up and back so I will going with my mom and aunts. The only reason we feel we need to go is that my great aunt is really having a hard time with this and we think we should be there for her. He was in his early 40's and has 2 young kids. Really makes you appreciate what you have.

The Snickerdoodles are in the oven now and the smell reminds me of Philharmagic, which I absolutely LOVE!

I am staying home and warm....I woke up and I've got a cough...I am going to have to go in to work this afternoon.....my poor husband...I've volunteered him to be my volunteer so I'm not there all night.

The highways are closed all around and DIA is not expected to open up again until tonight....I feel bad for the 4000 stranded out there....this is the busiest time of the year for air travel...where are they going to find seats for them???
