Hey,

I love to visit New York City. :goodvibes
Just hate the driving :lmao:

Chris just got home and I'm all caught up :cool1: Nana Nana boo boo. I beat him today :teeth: Now I need to get dinner made and get the goodies and presents together for the kids school parties tomorrow. The boys are watching Mickey's once upon a Christmas so things are really quiet here.

Tom - the pictures are just perfect! Love the first one.

Chris - you are learning quickly and you add a lot to our thread!

Deb - keep him. :)

Tammi - travel safely today. And say hello to your Mom (and Dad) for me.

Thank you :teeth:

That is great news. I'm glad that his progress is going so well. It was very nice of Alan to set up your old laptop for him. That must give him some relief. I'm sure that his spirits and the spirits of his family will be greatly uplifted with him at home for the holidays

Deb

Absolutely. They are thrilled! It's going to be tough, as he's still in a lot of pain, but at least he'll be home!

Hello all - just stopping in briefly to tell you how wonderful it was to meet Lindsay and Jonathan! It was such a nice surprise when I finally reached the Magic Kingdom that Paul recognized Lindsay and we were able to chat for a bit. Here's a picture that Matthew took of all of us:

Jonathan (brave soul) let Matt take a picture with his huge digital camera (poor kid could hardly hold it, let alone take a picture with it!). Here he is getting some hands on instruction.

I'll give you one guess what was close to where we met:

I didn't even notice that, as we aren't Dole Whip people. It would have been more appropriate to meet near a Chick-Fil-A, which we all could have enjoyed.

It was good meeting you guys! :teeth:

Next time we'll meet at a Chick Fil-A since we don't have them up north near us. :guilty: I had a fun time too - and I really love the picture of Matt and Jonathan, I'm so glad Paul was able to take it.

:confused3 Help! I need help coming up with a present for Deb. Those of you who know Deb well, know she is very willing to do anything to help others but seldom asks for anything for herself. This is also true at home. She really has given me no clues for a gift for her. Or perhaps I'm simply to dense to get the hints she may have dropped. :teeth:
If anyone has any ideas PLEASE pm me.

Hi Marti  Thanks for sharing the pictures! How are you & the family doing?

Good evening, everyone! How was your day?

I just finished a book and had to tell y'all about it. It's a really charming book called, The Autobiography of Santa Claus, by Jeff Guinn. In light of all the conversations we've had lately about our kids believing, I wanted to tell you all about this book. It's told by Santa and explains his origins and how he came to be Santa Claus. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and I think it's a book that Katie would really enjoy, too.

Just thought I'd recommend it to you all.

Hi, Marti! How long are you at WDW? We leave tomorrow and arrive in Orlando on Friday about lunch time. Any chance you will still be there???

Hi Marti and Paul,

Glad to hear you had a good time :goodvibes

Welcome home, Lindsay. Sorry you are not feeling well. :(

Glynis- the book sounds like I ought to get it to take to WDW with me! Off to Borders in the a.m. before we take off, I think. I have $60 in gift cards from students.

I just got home and Kristin had dinner ready for me! So, now I am off here to go pack. IF I get it done in a reasonable amount of time I will be back here later on. OIf not, you will have to wait to hear from me in the morning...

Chris - I am thinking as I pack :teeth:

Have a great trip Elin. I would love a little rest and relaxation now and a whole lot of Disney magic.

Deb

It looks like I can get Chris to go to bed by 10 tonight since no one is here. That's good cause he is getting way overtired. I just can't seem to drag himself away at night :rotfl2: I guess he hasn't figured out that you will all be here tomorrow and the next day and the well you get the point.

Does anyone know the what the name or theme of the ship that our team designed. If I find time to rewrite the song I'd like it to go along with our Ship entry. You know the whole cheerleader thing.

Your school might be required to pay the $10,000 fee to the private school, if it is deemed what is necessary for Daniel. Although more than likely they will try to offer something else such as special resources at your school, bussing him to another school in the district or bussing him to another public school which will offer the enrichment that he deserves, especially if you tell them that you feel sending him to the private school is best.

Individualized Educational Plans are very much a hot topic as for what the parents feel is appropriate and what the school feels is appropriate. There have been many lawsuits out there. :wizard: :wizard: that the school is willing to work with you to get Daniel the resources he deserves.
Thanks Becky!
I am working on it..he is being so "wasted" at his school.
