Well, Deb, I can now totally sympathize with you. I got the tell-tale pain in my lower back that signals a kidney stone. I've been on Lortab now for a few hours, and the pain is manageable! Hopefully, this stone won't be as bad as last years, however, it's bad enough to send me to bed!

Tammi I'm sorry about your uncle. With everything that is going on I can understand that difficulty planning a funeral. For your family.

Good morning!

Congrats on all the personal milestones last night.

Deb - You sound like you are miserable. After dealing with this for weeks now and not being able to figure out what is wrong has got to be terribly frustrating. that you find some relief, and soon!!

I got a phone call last night from my parents that my uncle died. He has been suffering from prostrate cancer for about 2 years. It was caught late, and over time had spread to his bones, lymph node and lastly his brain. He was my mom's sister's dh. They have one son still in the area, and 2 daughters, one in SC and one in FL. The girls were both home this week to see him. One had just left yesterday morning to go home and he died that night. It was like after seeing his kids he was ready to go. They don't know when the funeral will be, as it depends on when the girls can get back home (might be difficult with Christmas flights), so I don't know if I will make it home or not. Nicholas' last day of school is Wed (half day) so it could feasibly work out. Provided the kennel has room for the dogs. I will feel really guilty if I don't go, but some things just can't be helped.

Elin - Good luck finding a Scott for Christmas! Last I heard he and his family were living in Houston (or Austin, or somewhere) and he wasn't working as a chef anymore. But there must be more like him somewhere!

Tammi - Sorry to hear about your uncle!

Debbie - Your cookies sound wonderful! That might be something for me to do with all the cake mixes in our cabinet. I would make cupcakes but I don't have anything to store them in. I almost never make a 13x9 cake for anything. Not sure why I have all the cake mixes. But there are least 4 in there.

Janet - I hope DH gets your curtains up! And I hope he does a better job than the guys who hung my blinds!

So how exactly do you make cookies out of cake mix? It sounds like my kind of cooking.

Wow! Fantastic pics, Tammi!

I have no idea what's going on with anyone. I skipped 56 pages. I knew I hadn't been here in a couple days, but it had been since last Monday! A record for me, I think, except when I was on vacation. It's just been crazy around here the last few days.

So how exactly do you make cookies out of cake mix? It sounds like my kind of cooking.

Pour cake mix in a bowl, and 1 egg, 1/2 cup oil, 2 tbsp water, and mix. If you're adding raisins, nuts, or chips, I've found that 1 cup works well. Depending on the cookie you're making you either roll them into balls or drop them onto a cookie sheet. Bake for 11 - 13 minutes at 350 and that's it.

Evening all.
Hope all are well.
Busy weekend here.
Installed security system on all windows & doors.
Installed a door bell on the front door.
Treated the yard for fire ants.
Edged the driveway.
It was so over-grown from the yard.
Now it is a foot wider on both sides.
Put some yard art out.
Ramiro said the yard looked like no-one lived here.
Tried to install a new rotor on the desk top.
No luck.
Why is it I can fix just about anything except
anything related to computors?
Well I have a 4 day weekend next weekend.
I'm going to surprise Ramiro.
We are going to spend it @ U.S.
Can't wait neither of us have ever been.
Well I'm going back to catch up.
