Well, Jen! :grouphug: You have a lot on your plate tonight, don't you? Try not to worry about everything now! All of these things are things you have no control over. Just take it one step at a time. Enjoy your movie! Whatever might happen tomorrow or in January or whenever hasn't happened yet, so try to relax and enjoy the moment. :)

Glynis and Elizabeth-Thank you so much..After i posted, i realized how whiney (is that a word?!) I sounded. Im so sorry to be complaining here, but you guys are like family so i just complained haha...Thank you Both for the kind words..i appreciate you guys!!

Jen - Feel free to complain! You are certainly entitled! And I am the pot calling the kettle black telling you not to worry. I am always the first to get my knickers in a knot whether I can do anything about the situation or not. I just hope you can put your worries aside for the evening and enjoy your time off from school! :)

Elin - I don't own a rolling pin. ;) I know you are shocked. I bought the ingredients to make a Jello thing with a graham cracker crust, so we'll see how that goes. DH said the brownies have tough edges, so they were probably done the first time I looked at them and didn't need that extra 5 minutes.

Better to have gooey brownies than hard brownies. :thumbsup2

I set the smoke detectors off today by burning a tortilla in a frying pan. It was nice and black on the one side, I thought the pan was on low and I had ran to my bedroom to quickly do something, nope the burner was on high. :teeth: :sad2: It was smoking a ton and stunk.

Jen- Here is some cheese to go with your whine. :teeth: :joker: :joker: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl:
Cheese-of-the-Month250w.jpg

Just joking, :joker: :joker: you have every right to complain and actually I wouldn't have even thought about it being whining except later you said you felt it sounded awful whiney.

Sending you tons of :wizard: :wizard: and :grouphug: :grouphug: to get you through these times. Just take things one at a time. Take some time on your break from school and spend time with these people before their surgery, or before they go away. Take some deep breaths and remember that you have no control over these other things. :grouphug:

I am off to the grocery store for a few things to tide us over till we leave. I am achy and don't feel too well this morning, so I hope it is the remnants of whatever I have had brewing all week. Tammi - just in case you see me at Giant... STAY FAR, FAR AWAY FROM ME! ;)
I hope you get over this prior to your trip! :wizard:

Tammi- Great pictures :thumbsup2 you all look fantastic.

Just a quick post..we had Katie's bowling birthday party today..20 girls..all went well..she has cute friends.

Marci - I undertstand what you are going through. We are all here for you. Please feel at peace knowing your mom is not suffering anymore. :grouphug:

Tammi,
I am very sorry for your uncles passing.

Deb,
Hope your Dr. can figure out how to make you a.o.k. soon. You are too young to be in so much pain & too busy to boot! Take care of yourself!

Kelli,
Thanks for the Christmas card!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have been gone since 10 AM and only 2 pages to catch up on!

Thanks for all the comments regarding my uncle. I found out the viewing is Thursday and the burial is on Friday, so providing I can find something to do with my dogs we will be able to go. We'll leave Wed. afternoon and come back Saturday.

Also thanks for the nice words on our new pictures. We had them done today. I'm going to get the one of the 3 of us in 16x20 and put the ones of the kids along side it 8x10. I need to replace the family one that is still hanging on my wall.

Thanks. They took 102 pictures! It's all digital and they just snap away. We had some done with Christmasy backgrounds and it was very difficult not to choose those. I wanted something that could hang on the wall year-round and not be seasonal.

Thank you too, Glynis!

Nope these were the only poses that I bought. They show the pictures in groups of 3, and you pick the potential ones, which go into a folder. Then of the potential ones, they show all of the same poses, and you pick which one you like. So you really end up with one of each pose. A lot of them were taken so quickly that I couldn't even tell a difference between pictures. I think I ended up with about 10 or so different poses. But I went there on a specific mission and I didn't get swayed into buying more. Plus my mom wants a new picture too so she can get rid of the one with John in it. :rolleyes1 So I'll give her these ones for Christmas.

I did get a cd with ALL of the pictures, but it's prob. low resolution. Once I look at it and see if they are worth putting online, I'll let you know.
