When we went with our friends it wasn't as fun as I thought it would be! Our one friend fussed about something or other the WHOLE time.

I don't have time to catch up. Just got home from the doctors. After seeing a doctor, having a spiral CT and bloodwork, they are fairly confident that I have kidney stones. Actually they know that I have one in the left kidney that it 7 MM. Unfortunately, my pain is on the right side and they couldn't see anything significant on that side. I do have blood in my urine and crystals so they think I'm trying to pass something and it must be way up by the kidney which means it has a loooong ways to go. My kidneys aren't enlarged and my cell counts are normal. The treatment is to have my seen by Urology and the first appointment is Jan 2. She gave me pain meds until then. I've got to feed the kids and get them dressed for the concert. See you later.

Deb, you do some much....try to take some time for you to rest & take it easy. Hope the pain meds do the trick.

Thats true..but the one friend i went to disney with before and we had a blast..the other friend is pretty much the same as us--she is even thinking about getting married there! but i will tel lmyself i wouldnt have fun to make myself feel better haha

Have any of you guys stayed at WL before? I am looking forward to it! I am already thinking about what "extra" things I want to do in August. I have been wanting to go to La Nouba, and DS will love it! DH wants to do a fishing charter, so I will probably book that for him. Not sure if DS & I will join him or not. I really want to parasail but I don't think it would be good for my back. Since I have come to the conclusion that MGM is not an "all day" park for us this MIGHT be the trip where we have one day that we don't go to the parks. Maybe we'll have a DTD day or try out a water park.

That is what I told him & they are fine with that. He wants to make it to the Christmas party tomorrow night. I have not heard back from them, but I do wish them luck! They are such a fun couple, they will enjoy themselves no matter what.

You know I am to blame for this. I talked them into going with us last year in Feb. & they are hooked! This will be their 5th trip since then if they go.

I don't think that is true with a one day ticket. I don't think non-expiring is an option unless your ticket has at least 2 days. The rule is the ticket expires 14 days from the day you use the first day, but one day tickets don't expire if you don't use them in 14 days.

No one should feel they "have to" send cards. This is something that you do because it is something you enjoy. Please don't feel pressured to recipicroate. That isn't why I send them.

I would be sad if my friends went to Disney without me.

But that happens all the time around here. Then again I end up jealous, but never sad, because I am glad that they are getting to enjoy the Disney magic and pixie dust.

Kidney stones are no fun! Prayers & that it passes soon. I had to have a lithotripsy once to have one broken up. It actually made it worse. First case in 1000's that ever happened to. After the litho, I was in the worst pain of my life - worse than child birth. I feel for you!

Elizabeth- Sending that school doesn't start until the 27th. Until a decision has been made try not to stress about it as you unfortuantely really can't do anything about it until they make up their minds. Easier said than done however.

Janet- Looks like the school play was great.

Tammi- Glad to hear Nicholas is feeling better.

I saw at the top of the DISboards when I just logged on that the MVMCP is sold out for Dec. 14, 15 & 22. You might want to check that out and let him know. That would be awesome to just go and do but I would hate for them to spend that kind of money and then not go to the party.

I could never spend an entire trip with someone. I'd love to plan a trip with family &/or friends. However, I'd stipulate that we would schedule certain events through the trip that were together and everything else would be separate.

LaNouba was awesome. Becky really wanted to go so we scheduled it last March. We all enjoyed it tremendously. We even got to meet Lindsay that trip. Ironically, she was seated 2 rows directly behind us.

Chuck also wants to do a fish charter but I don't think we'll do it this trip since it is Becky's last with us and she isn't interested. He asked me about parasailing in the past and I said I would prefer to do that somewhere else. Of course, that was before I joined this board and became Disney obsessed. We'll wait on that as well though.

The last two years we have taken at least one morning to do the waterparks. It was so nice this year that we spent one morning at Blizzard Beach and one at Typhoon Lagoon. We really enjoyed both. Becky really loved it. TL will be closed in Feb. so we'll spend at least one day at BB. We usually have at least 2-1/2 days at DTD as well.

The one thing we are especially doing this year is Disney Quest. Both Chuck & Becky want to go back and check it out. We went the 1st year and haven't been back.

Just talked to bil, they are going! Booked a room through DVC at the Boardwalk. Did not know about the party being sold out, but who cares they are going to Disney

SOOO jealous!! especailly bc Jess just called that they are all booked up! i just hope that maybe i get a really cheap airfare between now and then and can just split the room with them
