Well my Christmas shopping is almost done! Bob is getting one of the pillows that if you touch they conform to your head, which I got on Black Friday for only $20! And I found him three moisture wicking golf shirts at $6 a piece...I'm waiting for an Amazon delivery of a few movies (History of Rivalries: OSU vs Michigan, Batman Begins and MacGyver Season 2) and "for fun" I got him a PS2 game called Katamari Damacy. Looks like a fun game - and it's something he didn't ask for so that should be worth it! I might go pick up a pair of jeans or kahakis for him from Walmart (if they ever decide to stock more of the most popular men's sizes again...) I got my mom a cordless phone set from Home Depot on Black Friday, a straw bag from Nassau and she's getting a small TV from Bob for her summer residence in Geneva.
I hope everyone else is as far as I am! (Now to just get them wrapped!)

It looks like none of the major public school districts are going to be impacted by the weather at all. Most of the private schools are opening late. Not sure what the deal will be for Brother & Sister since they usually go 9-12:30.

That is terrible about the Chicago airport! Poor Kristine! I hope they are able to wait at home until they have a confirmed flight time.

I haven't heard much yet this morning about our airport. Our flight should be leaving in 26 hours, but I guess we'll see what happens.

DH & I are planning to bring DS with us to see the PE teacher. I think her response will determine whether or not I go to the administrators. If she is a snot then I will go to the principal.

We aren't supposed to get any more rain (or snow, or ice pellets) today, but the temp is below freezing so it could be an interesting morning commute! I don't have very far to go, and it is all side streets. They had already put sand down yesterday afternoon on the one little overpass, so hopefully my drive won't be bad.

Jo~ Sounds like the US deal is too good to pass up. I haven't been there since 92 as a senior in high school, but I loved it as did all of my friends.

That's about all I remember from memory. Sending and to any that I missed.

Emma has her 7yr check up this morning. I won't be around much til Sunday. I so need to get the stuff done for her party tomorrow. That means 20 mini tshirts for all the bears and putting the goody bags together along with decorating her cake. And we have to be out of here by 9am tomorrow morning. Tomorrow night we are headed to my girlfriends to decorate Gingerbread houses.

I can't get over how there is all of this terrible weather and it is 68 degrees here at 7 AM. Bizarre!

It's raining here. I kinda hoped that the weather from Chicago would have been here by now...one to make sure the Chicagoians could leave for WDW and two because the news said it would be here by now. We just have rain...lots and lots of rain..with a chance of wind up to 60MPH...

Having to go to the school this morning is distracting me from the things I still need to do for the trip. If I forget something important because of this thoughtless PE teacher I am going to be very angry.

I have to rememeber to get my November expense check from Dadboss, I have to leave the car seats that I usually keep in my car, I have to make notes for the pet sitter, I have to put DS's Disney Dollars in his backpack, I have to get all of the documents out of the lock box, and I might want to throw in another short sleeved shirt since a couple of days look like highs in the low 80's.

If I want to have any chance at all of remembering any of that I need to go make coffee.

Good Morning DDA,

Thanks for all the well wishes, I'm feeling much better this morning, I've been pretty stiff and sore for the past two days.

Jen - for your Grandma, my MIL had the same surgery a few months back and did very well with it, luckily they found the blockage before it caused any more harm.

For all our travelers, be careful out there, it has gotten pretty cold here and the wind is "Kickin'", my swing has been blown over in the back yard but I'm going to leave it down until the wind dies down.

Elizabeth - good luck with your meeting today, I've had a few of those myself, I found that persistance pays off in the end.

I better get going, I'm going to take extra caution out on the roads today,

Hi, Debbie! I'm glad you are feeling better!

Well, DS has decided he wants DH to talk to the PE teacher AFTER school today. I guess I see his point. He wants to get as close to the weekend as possible! I think maybe he is gaining a little perspective on it, too. It was very rude, and it did embarrass him, but I think maybe just telling us about it has made it seem less horrible. DH is fine with whatever DS wants to do, so we'll see.

Its nice this morning, but supposed to get nasty earlier..im supposed to go out with a girlfriend tonight, but we may be postponing that..

i am headed to class now..Today is the huge presentation that i thought was the 15th..My partner and i decided to go first so we can just get it over with..im a little nervous but id rather just get it done.

Ill be checking back when i get home..
