Tammi - You are such an inspiration to me! You have had such a great attitude through this whole ordeal! The Lord must definitely have someone special in mind for you!

Deb - How funny! Jacob and I are reading the Mouse and the Motorcycle, too! I don't mention the traps we've set, because Jacob is positive that the mice in our house would be able to talk, just like Ralph. He's even set out his toy cars in case a mouse wants to take a ride.

We got the call!! Our DS and DDIL are at the hospital. They are going to call us back once the Doctor confirms she is in labor, and then we will go up to the hospital tonight. Hopefully this is the real thing, and our granddaughter will be with us tonight or tomorrow!!

Woo Hoo. Prayers for a short labor and a healthy baby.

I need some DDA prayers right now! Alan just called me. His last news story of the day was to cover a fire at a local business. As he got there, an ambulance was getting ready to pull away. Alan got his camera out to shoot the video, and noticed that the spouse of the injured man was our neighbor! It was her husband who was burned in the fire! He's got 3rd degree burns over 21% of his body and his hands are really bad.

Alan finished the story, and went to the hospital to be there for Jill and their 3 sons. I'm just so saddened by this! Please pray for Louis and Jill Jasperson and their 3 boys. This will be a very hard holiday season for them, I'm sure!

The only thing that I notice is that I don't sit down nearly as much as I used to. I seem to be going non-stop all day. Sometimes I feel like I need to go to work to get some rest. I have this thing that I've been doing in my head lately. Everytime I do something that John used to do (hang the Christmas lights, lug the heavy box with all the tree branches up from the basement, etc.), I find myself saying in my head "See....I don't need a man...."

Congrats on near arrival of your grandbaby! What a wonderful early Christmas present. Keep us posted.

I do all that stuff anyway. I usually try to do that kind of stuff while Chris is at work. He isn't into decorating at all. However fixing the cars and mowing the lawn, doing the dishes, getting the kids off to school. I'd be lost.

I just went to tuck Hunter in and he says "the teacher said that we couldn't use a doll house and all the furniture" I explained that he built the house we just used some furniture. He is a little worried so I took some pictures and he can bring them in for the teacher to ok before he continues on with it. I'll try to post some pictures in a bit.

My oldest DS turned 21 yesterday. I had him when I was 22 years old, and now he is 21. There is no way on earth he is mature enough to get married or have kids, and yet that is what I did at his age.
....

My mom says the same thing about my brother..he turned 20 in June and my dad was 21 when they had me...i cant even imagine Joe getting ready to be a father..

now im 22 and my mom had me when she was 22,,my mom swears ill be married within 3 years..so who knows hahah

Hi all!! I'm not sure if I'll catch up tonight since I'm about 20 pages behind. Yikes! Thanks for the pictures Kristine. I love the group picture after the wedding...all those matching shirts can only mean a DDA gathering! We're down to 3 days and a wake up and I don't think I got much done today. I did run some needed errands so those are done.

Tonight I am getting the autograph pages finalized and ready to print and starting to print the shirt designs. I also have to finalize my excel sheets to print and get my trip notebook ready.

Tomorrow I am making a Santa suit for a cow. Yes, a cow. Well, the Chick-Fil-A cow and it's only the jacket. My sister is the marketing manager at a local CFA and she is hosting a Breakfast with Santa Cow on Saturday. Apparently the rental costumes you can get don't accomodate the cow's massive neckline so I said that I would sew the jacket for her. It is a very simple pattern so I'm hoping that it won't take too long.

Wednesday is box unpacking/moving day. Thursday we pack, finish getting ready etc. And Friday we are out of here. I'll try to drop in as much as I can! Hope all is well!!!
