I need some DDA prayers right now! Alan just called me. His last news story of the day was to cover a fire at a local business. As he got there, an ambulance was getting ready to pull away. Alan got his camera out to shoot the video, and noticed that the spouse of the injured man was our neighbor! It was her husband who was burned in the fire! He's got 3rd degree burns over 21% of his body and his hands are really bad.

Alan finished the story, and went to the hospital to be there for Jill and their 3 sons. I'm just so saddened by this! Please pray for Louis and Jill Jasperson and their 3 boys. This will be a very hard holiday season for them, I'm sure!

Thanks, everyone!

Prayers said..please keep us updated when you can!

Yup! It hit me!! My shopping is 99% done (just a couple of things from the kids to their dad), and the majority is wrapped. This is one year I'm on top of that! I usually wait until the last minute to wrap everything, and that makes for a long Christmas Eve! I'm determined that this year the only thing I will have to do on Christmas Eve is download music to Katie's Disney mix stick, make my overnight French Toast and watch White Christmas. I plan to enjoy it!!!

YEAH!!! I am mostly done with the shopping, but only a few wrapped so far.

I forgot to tell you that I had a dream about you the other night! Terra and I came out to Utah to babysit for Mary and Leslie, only there was a cute little baby in the family as well. Apparently, we just came out so that you and Alan could go to a movie. Then you came home and Alan made tacos for everyone! It was a lot of fun. Now if only we can make that not the closest I come to actually getting to meet you. :goodvibes

ya know..I was only going because it was for my mom. She has always wanted to go so we did for her 70th birthday..I thought I would like it o.k. but did not think I would have gone if it were just me or ever want to go again but I was wrong...it was very nice, clean, & alot of fun. I was surprised at all the kids there & that there is so much a family can do there without the gambling part. I can see going again this time with Dana & the kids when they are alittle older. I am looking forward to going back.

I know you do. You and Jo are my inspiration for that kind of stuff. Expect me to be calling one of you when I need to be coached through a repair/fix it problem. :teeth:

You can call me anytime. I'd be happy to help in any way I can.

Well I would have gone.....
And I would have loved to have you go with me! I am not too certain you would have enjoyed the business meeting that went on for an hour discussing adjudicating piano competitions and reports on a piano teachers' survey.

Next time we will go together!

I would have just smiled and nodded a lot, as I ate my chicken parm. ;)

We got the call!! Our DS and DDIL are at the hospital. They are going to call us back once the Doctor confirms she is in labor, and then we will go up to the hospital tonight. Hopefully this is the real thing, and our granddaughter will be with us tonight or tomorrow!!

How exciting, Ellen! I hope to read there is a new DDA grandbaby in New York! :goodvibes

Photo time

Here is Riley. He loves the holidays. He was laying in a wreath that I had put up yet.
