She is so pretty. You will have your hands full when she is a teenager. You'll need a big stick to keep the boys away. That last look is priceless.

We got a postcard from the happy couples today too. It is nice to have friendly mail instead of bills. Of course I've ordered so much stuff lately I'm getting a lot of packages too. It's like christmas everyday :thumbsup2

So I brought 2 white belts to Karate tonight and this is what I came home with

ChrisandHunterDec2006.jpg

:thumbsup2

Hunter earned his yellow stripe and Chris earned his yellow belt. The tester told Chris that his yellow belt test was the best he had ever seen. That made Chris' day. Nicholas gave up a while ago. He wasn't too coordinated when it came to karate, but at least he gave it a try. Hunter did awesome and was not asked to repeat anything as others had too.

We also resized Hunter's project. We kept all of the key elements and just kind of smooshed it together. I guess it would be functional for a mouse, but not a nice as the original version. When chris went to get the project this morning the teacher made the comment that she didn't know that it was too big as she hadn't found time to measure it yet :confused3 We cut 15 inches off on one side and 6 inches off the back. It was pretty obvious. When Chris said the was taking it home for Hunter to fix she asked Hunter if he'd rather stay in for recess and work on it then. So why would Hunter give up recess, which is a punishment for not getting work done on time, when he could do it at home where he has the proper tools, like a glue gun. Some things could not be done with regular glue. Oh well it is finished and so is his letter. He is glad that he doesn't have to worry about it anymore.

Awesome job Chris & Hunter!!! Becky loves Karate. Chuck talked about joining it a couple of years ago. I wonder if it would help him with his arthritis issues? He was much better in Florida. It was either the warmth or the constant movement. I'm thinking the movement because we did have some warm weather this summer and it didn't do any good.

Congrats to Hunter for earning his yellow stripe. Congrats to Chris for earning his yellow belt, he looks fantastic. :thumbsup2

I'm glad that Hunter was able to keep everything for his project. I am glad it is finished and over with. I sure hope the teacher takes into consideration the fact that he pretty much redid it.
