I guess I need to go post a gown. Of course, I need to read the thread to make sure noone has my gown. That would be a tragedy!!

I wanted to post an update on our DGD. Our DIL was discharged on Friday, and our granddaughter was discharged yesterday after only 5 days instead of 7. She is doing great!

They had to take her to her pediatrician's office today and tomorrow to get her last 2 antibiotic shots to complete the full 7 days, but they were able to take her home because she was doing so well.

Everyone is doing fine and we were able to take my in-laws to see their great granddaughter on Saturday, and I think we made their whole year. They were soooo happy to live long enough to see a great grandchild, they couldn't stop talking about it.

I finally designed the front of my Christmas cards. I'm having this printed up at 4" x 6" and will center it on the card. The inside is still to come...

Stephanie is doing just fine. She looked pretty tired today at work. Not sure when she will be able to post but she does say HI to everyone.

Just got the kids in bed. Today I worked on Nicholas' shepherd costume. I bought some cheap fabric at walmart and drew the outline of what I thought it should look like. Then I cut it out and sewed the seams together. I think it came out pretty good for winging it. I also bought some roping for him to tie around his waist.

Before dinner I got the kids into their "Christmas clothes" and got their picture in front of the tree. I just now finished with the card on Kodakgallery and ordered them. Hopefully they aren't backlogged.

Thanks for all the comments on Alyssa. She is done with ballet now until mid January. It will be so nice to have my Monday afternoons free for a little while!
