Becky - you know those starbucks vouchers, have you used them?

I posted the link over on the UK board as I know there are some big starbucks fans over there and someone posted back to me that they couldn't possibly be real as they have no logo or instructions on them (quite nasty post I thought).

I figured since you posted the vouchers they must be ok - just wondered if they had been used

Morning Everyone! Just a quick drive by post...I actually have to go to work today!?! I've been off from work since the 23rd, and it's always hard to go back...I should actually go in early so I can review my million emails that I'm sure I have...

Jen, in today's Catholic church, only one godparent needs to be Catholic. The other can be any denomination, as long as that person is in good standing with their church. The church baptizing the child will require a letter from the parish of the godparent stating he/she is in good standing, meaning is a member of the church and attends regularly.

I can set up Methodist baptisms and know for our church but am out of the loop for Catholic.

See ours said both people had to be catholics in good standing. I think it depends on the area and your church. Maybe it's the mood of the person you ask for the day.

Im about to get ready and i need to head to work, even though i dont work this week..I want to go find all the stuff for the lesson plans for the week since we forgot to do it last week--that way it is easier on the other teachers. I still keep in touch with Beverly, she hasn't really posted here since the thread changed from the first one to this one. I haven't spoken to her recently but last I heard she was happy and healthy and visiting Disney enough times to make me jealous

Not sure about the others I'm afraid.

Kate just PMd me to let me know that Heidi has left the DIS, which is very sad news, but I don't know why.

Mornin DDA! Sorry I've been MIA the last couple of weeks. Thanks for checking in on me Chanon! I admit I've skimmed here and there but honestly don't know much of what has been going on. So if anyone fancies a recap I would appreciate it. My schedule and routine has changed that it will take me a while to settle into it. I'm sure once we get going I will be back a little more often.

Things have been a little crazy around here. Emma started school today so we have been making it a priority to try to spend more time with her. We also had a wedding and then have been getting everything in order to buy our first house, we have been renting with option to buy for the 3 years. Thankfully we don't have to move! If all goes well we will settle mid September. And then there is Mo. We had to move her back into her crib as we have had many issues with her not napping and sleeping in the toddler bed. She did great for a while and then just decided that she would stay up during nap time and it was taking her about 3 hours to go to sleep at night. So when she was up she was very grumpy. She has been a 7pm-7am sleeper since she was 3 weeks old.
