I liked the Lazurus Man series that Robert Urich also was in. I was so disappointed when he got cancer and they never made another season. That was a cool concept for a show.

ummmmm......before my time!! :teeth:

Those books look so good, Tammi! I bet your kids love them! Kate has some good ideas, eh? I did the same thing for my neighbors. I put their pages, a clipboard and a Sharpie in a baggie for each kid. It made it really easy for them while they were there.

I found a clipboard in the back to school aisle at Walmart that opens to a storage area. I think I'll put my sharpies (I got the multipack with tons of colors) and put the pages in some sort of alphabetical binder.

Glynis- Did you get to walk today???

Also I am sorry to hear that Alan's project was unrecoverable. Sending :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: that his client is very understanding.

Thanks for asking. It rained here all day today, but we built the deck anyway. We have a 12 X 12 canopy and since the deck was 10 X 4 we were able to put the tent over the deck and work under it. We still got wet, but did I mention that the deck is done. Oh yeah, it looks amazing and I am totally stoked. Chris, My brother and a good friend finished it after I went to work tonight so I was too dark to take photos when I got home. I'll take some pictures tomorrow.

can't wait for the pic's!!

I have done all of my pages 8" X 8". I'm going to remove the kids names for Paula. I was going to add her kids names, but if I leave them blank I could make a disc for both of you. Just let me know.

Deb

I'm back from camping. It was a great week-end. We spent 5 hours yesterday on the Peshekee River kayaking. It was lots of fun. I was a little worried about Chuck but he was fine. Becky has really enjoyed kayaking the last two trips. Since I didn't make sure she knew how to swim, she wasn't thrilled about boating. That is changing, thank goodness.

I have to go to Lansing early tomorrow morning for three days. I won't have time to catch up tonight but I'll read as much as I can. If anything important has happened, someone please send me a pm. Thanks.

Welcome back, good to read you all had fun.

I finished the ballet skirt!!!!!!! It has taken way to long and I so do not want to make another ANY time soon. The darn jewels on the tulle under the first layer has caused me SOOOOOOO many problems. Anyway here it is.

I am looking at this and it looks uneven. Now I am going to need to measure it.

Paula, I loved the skirt.

Marci, :grouphug: :wizard: for your mom.

Karen, :grouphug: :wizard: for Grandma.

:wave2: To everyone else.

I'm off to bed as I planned to be there 10 minutes ago. I must adjust my schedule before school starts on Thursday.

So did they like it?

My girls liked it when we saw it last year. I spent the time being the only adult in the audience giggling over the little bits they had put in to keep the grownups entertained.

They did like it! I thought it was cute, but it's not a movie that I think I would want to own. I'm sure that the kids will watch it over and over until I have to return it to the library, though.

oh that sounds yummy

They are so yummy! I cut myself a half a brownie and ate it slowly! So incredibly rich and yummy! The cinnamon gives it a nice taste. I'm sure the frosting would have been good, too, but I think that much sugar would have sent my system running for the bathroom!

Thank you Paula. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

As I now have that song stuck in my head. :rotfl2: :lmao:

But perhaps it will keep my mind off of food and that would be a very good thing. Cause oh my good any and everything sounds yummy right now, even stuff I absolutely do no like. It is defitinitely due to TOM but it is really annoying. As I have one bite of popcorn, and one of peanut brittle, some grapes, and 3 jelly beans, and a few mandarin oranges and so on and so fourth, let's just say it is pretty bad and I am not happy about it. Although I am proud of myself for only having a small amount of each item instead of a whole bag and I ate things that aren't completly bad for you.

I even tried a trick I just read in a magazine to smell certain scents like peppermint, vanilla, banana and they are supposed to make the hunger go away. It so totally did not work and made me crave bananas which I despise, peppermints stick ice cream, and chocolate chips cookies. I think their theory is flawed or I am messed up in the brain. :teeth:

Maybe we should try smelling liver, anchovies, rotten eggs, etc. Maybe that would work!

I think you did great! Small portions are one of the keys! If we deprive ourselves, we run the risk of binging later!

I can't wait to see the pictures! We had a great deck on our old house, and I really miss it. Unfortunately, we don't have room for a deck here. Our backyard is tiny!

Guess what I am doing, and enjoying it?

Picking our health insurance!!!! :teeth:
Jim will go to permanent status in the next couple of weeks. :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

It would have to be 2 more, DH wouldn't mind me taking a trip on my own, but going to Disney without him, that would be cause for Divorce! :rotfl:

ETA: I read that wrong, my eyes saw one more instead of just more, well I'm off to the Soldier Birthday Party!

Chuck & I are trying to schedule it as well. I think that we should be able to come with no problem. He wasn't happy when I said I was planning on going. I talked with him later and found out that it isn't me going as much as me going without him. So Chuck is coming too!!!! :woohoo:
