I know it's been forever, and half of you probably have no clue who I am, but for those that remember me. Check out the new signature line at the bottom.

Congrats to you and your family!

Dawn literally called two minutes after we got home. I just got off the phone with her, and I can reassure you that Caroline is going to be fine, but she's still in the hospital until an official diagnosis can be made.

All signs are pointing to a severe case of reflux. Most likely she will be put on medicine, but there's still a chance for a PH probe. The poor baby has undergone a spinal tap, EEG, cat scan, and several other tests, but thankfully all of them show everything is normal (no brain damage from lack of oxygen, etc.)

They are still waiting for some other 48 hour test results to come back, but they think Caroline will be discharged tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Dawn's blood pressure has never gone down, and obviously it was through the roof yesterday, so she was prescribed her own medicine yesterday. She will be haunted by Caroline's limp, blue body for a long time.

Please keep all of them in your prayers. If you would like Dawn's address to send her a note, please PM me.

Thanks for posting Amy. How terrifying it must have been for her. They are all in my prayers.

Hi! Yes, the kids spent 12 WEEKS in the NICU. It was not a fun time in our lives at all. We had open house last night for the parents. It went very well. The room looks great. I have one more Disney set of signs to print and hang. Kids come tomorrow am for meet your teacher time. I've been working around the clock. I actually have a day off today, so I'm in bed and about to take a long nap.

BTW, I'm only 5 pounds from my first goal weight! Hopefully will make it by our trip in 3 weeks (and then eat like crazy at WDW!). John is down 25 pounds and looks great.

How are you doing? How did preschool go for the girls last night?

Congratulations on the weight loss. :thumbsup2 Are you still using the Nutrisystem??

I'm glad the open house went well. :cool1:

Amy,
what do you take for Alyssa on the plane to entertain her? Do you give her suckers for take off and landing?

Yes, we definitely pack suckers.

Our best plane "entertainment" was a $200 purchase, but worth every penny...it's our portable DVD player. Don't know what we'd ever do without it!

Any news on Caroline or June

Sending prayers,:wizard: :wizard: :wizard: and :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: to them and their family's

How long of a flight do you have? How many movies do you take with you?

So is it just me? No matter what I try logging in at disneyshopping it won't let me..no matter which computer I use.

Remember that we used to talk about poop? Well, I have a poop story for you! I was holding Matthew at the aquarium and I heard that infamous exploding noise. I have no idea how it defied gravity, but that poop shot straight out the back of him, all over my pants and shirt!!!

I dragged my whole family into the women's bathroom and Kevin changed Matthew while I attempted to clean myself up. It wasn't pretty...that stuff sets in fast. I used Matthew as a shield for the rest of the night, to hide the stains, and luckily he spared me any future explosions this evening. My clothes are now soaking in Oxy Clean.

I guess from now on, I need to pack three change of outfits in the diaper bag: Alyssa, Matthew, and ME!!!!

Deb I hope your brothers surgery went well :wizard:

I wasn't on much last night as my SIL had to rush my Brother to the ER. He is having kidney stone issues again. They drugged him up and sent him home about midnight. They called today and will be doing surgery at 2:30 PM today. He has a stone that is completely stuck so they need to remove it. Any :grouphug: and :wizard: would be appreciated.

About a 2 hour flight, but I pack several DVDs, because I never know what she's going to request.

we have a 3 hour flight with the time difference factored in.

I had a super busy day today. I started out doing housework, cleaning bathrooms and laundry. yuck. I moved on to the pile of jeans that I got from my Mom. I was able to find 4 pairs that fit Hunter and 4 for Nick and 1 pair for Summer, but they all needed to be shortened. So I shortened 9 pairs of pants. Then since the sewing machine was already out I decided to make Colby the blanket that I had been promising him since June. So now I'll share some photos.

Colby's room from the Cars redo in June

Notice the picture above his bed. That is actually 1/2 of a pillowcase. I kept the other half to incorporate into a new blanket for him. So here it is, although it is a bit more like a quilt than a blanket.

And look what's hidden in the bubble print. . . I swear that it is not even a Disney print and Colby picked it out himself :rotfl: What can I say, the kid has good taste.

Oh and I manage to pack clothing for 3 of us for our upcoming camping trip and pick up a bunch of stuff outside that was too wet to pick up before. I also talked Chris into going for a walk with me. All in all a busy day.

The boys start school tomorrow so we will be up bright and early here. I must get myself to bed earlier.

I've had that happen before, but thankfully not in public. I'm so sorry, laughing, but so sorry.
