I think I am going to see if Theresa will want to ride the Metro in! Because if the bridge is closed then everyone will be on 395 which is where I nned to be.

I know it's last minute, but I need to give notice that I may not be around this weekend. Our swim club is sponsoring a 3-day meet, so I am planning to be at the pool 7:00 am-8:30 pm (or later) Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. It's looking like a great weekend for the swimmers (90 degrees), but a little less fun for those of us who are running around in the heat. Still I would rather have that than the cold and storms that we had last year. Storms can really throw off the schedule!

Wellllllllllllll... they are pretty 'dry' aren't they? I tell you what i do with them: I heat them a little in the microwave and then I put Polaner All-Fruit spread on them and count it as my fruit for that meal. Makes it palatable. I have also been known to break them up into fat-free yogurt and add my dried cranberries to the mixture. Again, not too bad that way.

In other words, probably so...

We got some "so-so" news about Alex today. he is having a bad day and is becoming very agitated and frustrated. He is trying to communicate by writing things to my dad and others..and becomes frustrated when they cannot read what he is writing. He is upset he is still on the ventilator (they put him back on because he was becoming too overtired with breathing on his own)

triplefigs--what kind of muffins are you eating? I am doing the Weight Watchers program, and I am addicted to the 1-point Weight Watchers chocolate cakes. (Not sure I should eat my daily points allowance in all chocolate cakes, though some days, it seems like a good idea!!)

I just got off the phone with Theresa. We are getting together tomorrow for a picnic at a local park. She is bringing her girls and mom and I will have my girls and Ty with me. Should be alot of fun. Brooksie will be there as well since this is where we hand him over

For the DC crowd. We are going to take the metro in and plan leave here around 10:30am. We are hoping that it should put us to the hotel between 11:30am and noon~

Well, I'm off to sit down with Chuck and review our budget to decide whether we can afford the trailer. I am torn on whether I want us to be able to get it or not. I know we can afford it really but I dont want it to cut into other things that I want. What to do? What to do? I'll tell you what we decide later.
