You're not alone! My girlfriend and I did this one morning, we needed to go to Home Depot before we met up with her mom. We overslept! And you are not late when you meet her, there is no excuse good enough!! Thankfully we only had to get out of our apt parking lot and go across one road. My girlfriend was freaking out! Needless to say somehow our clock was an hour off. So when we got home we sat around waiting for 45 minutes!!

Just stopping in to say hi we were letting the kids sleep in today and just go over for some shows and parades. I am picking up the rest of the Mickey/Minnie's tomorrow and wanted to see if anyone else wanted some. I will check my PM's early morning tomorrow. I hope to catch up next week until then and to all who need it.

Just wanted you to know your SIL and family are in my prayers. I just can't comprehend anyone being so selfish as to keep a child from their mother with such little time left. I will pray HARD that this fiasco is resolved quickly and she gets temporary custody.

Oh the drama continues….

So a local paper is interested in SIL T story and calls lots of people (father of child, spoke with my MIL, send a photographer out to take pics of SIL T, and calls SIL T lawyer). SIL T lawyer calls SIL T and says that the case is still open, the media could be detrimental to the case and they were given an appeal court date of 30 Aug when the judge will be back from his vacation. (remember she was given 60 days aka 2 two months aka 1440 hours to live) 30 Aug is to late.

So now my MIL is a bit worried and asked us to hold off contacting other folks until she thinks about this more. IS SHE CRAZY???? Did SIL A and I miss something???? The judge said no to the first appeal, 30 Aug is past the 60-day mark, what do we have to loose?

Are SIL A and I on crack? We are so PO’d! What would you do?

I just talked to Amy! They're all doing well except for Kevin. He's a bit under the weather.

She said Alyssa adores Matthew and so far the transition has been smooth for her.

Her mom left yesterday and they had company for a while today. She hopes to check in soon, but is still not allowed to go to the basement much. She wishes she had a laptop.

Matthew peed on her while we were talking so she said she had to go wash the only pants that fit her right now .

Glad to hear that Amy, Alyssa and Matthew are doing well. Here's some Kevin, feel better soon!

Just my opinion, but I'd keep doing what you are doing. You don't really have anything to lose. If she already can't see her, there is nothing that could be worse.

Jen, Have a great time at the Allentown Dis meet. I wish I could go. Perhaps next year I will get to go. Last year I had to work and this year I am DDA meeting in DC. Funny thing is Allentown is oh, so much closer than DC. I know I would have had fun no matter which I chose.

Although they are definitely going to have to find a bigger location as it sold out so quickly this year. I was going to go but it was sold out by the time I attempted to buy a ticket so I decided to go to DC.

Paula- I cannot imagine what you are going through. I hope things get worked out so she can see her mother. That they are incorrect on the time estimate and she holds on longer. It can happen as my Grandmother, was told in November of 2003 that she had 3 months to a year to live. She is still alive and doing pretty good too.

Whew!! pno4te, you were right! I got home from work today and had the 20 pages I was already behind this morning and then a whole bunch more to catch up on! I love it!

Paula--I am SO sorry to hear about your SIL. Like everyone else, I am sending tons of and prayers your way. I cannot imagine any person who thinks keeping that child away from the mother is a good thing.

Glynis--you asked what I taught (way back on one of my first pages to read). I am a high school guidance counselor--grades 9-12. It is fun, and there is definitely never a dull moment!

Kate--I love, love, love the Space Mountain design with Stitch on it! This doesn't surprise anyone, I'm sure!! That will be Mickey Stitch Mouse's Magic Kingdom shirt!

Vicki--I hope your husband is feeling better. . .I am so lacking that patience thing! I also hope your daughter had a wonderful birthday!

We got some "so-so" news about Alex today. he is having a bad day and is becoming very agitated and frustrated. He is trying to communicate by writing things to my dad and others..and becomes frustrated when they cannot read what he is writing. He is upset he is still on the ventilator (they put him back on because he was becoming too overtired with breathing on his own)
I know he will be having bad days, along wit hthe good days but i think this is the first time i ACTUALLY realized that. I guess i was so used to him improving every day, that i was a little taken aback by this news. Please keep him in your prayers that he has a better day tomorrow... Thanks so much!

If i see him tomorrow, i will post an update..if not, i will post after the DISmeet! have a great weekend

Okay thanks to Kate pointing me to natioal for car rentals I have found a minivan to rent for 580.xx this is better then the 7xx.xx I had originally found.

Channon sent me an email this am that delta had changed our flight times leaving Austin at 12:25 getting to WDW after 5pm then leaving to come home at 6:55 pm stoping in atlanta then leaving their at 10:00pm getting to austin after 11pm. our original flight was leave orland around 7pm get to austin around 9:30 pm.

So I guess were driving.
