Well it's going to be relatively quiet here with half the DDA in DC! I am going to go look through more tee shirt designs..nope still haven't decided yet....

I was thinking the same thing. I guess I really should be doing other things anyway. I realized this afternoon that I haven't renewed my CPR for lifeguarding. It has to be done yearly. I didn't really look into it as I didn't think they needed me this year (they didn't last year). However, I'm the second lifeguard this year so I'm critical which means I'm off on a 2 hour drive one-way tomorrow to renew my certification. It is a good friend of mine through Girl Scouts and she is going to do it for me. I'm glad I can get it done but it sure changes my plans.

Thanks. Is there anything else not good that I should know about before I eat it? I think I got the same one you have- Weekend's off Over 40 (figured at 37 I was closer to 40 than under it).

I personally don't like any of the sweet soy "desserts" like the Apple Cinnamon Crackers. And I don't like their puddings at all. I would rather go without dessert than eat any of that.

I have since started ordering my food directly from the NutriSystem website because I can order individual choices instead of always getting the same thing from QVC. I will say though, that you and John are not going to be on it as long as I am so it might not bother you all to have the same food every month. It just recently started to get "old" to me and I decided to spend a little more money and have better choices available to me for the long haul. ;)

Hi everyone, just a quick post here before I'm off to bed. It was a rough day at work today...I hate credit card terminals. Apparently for some odd/dumb reason, everyone's card got charged twice today. Found the mistake at 1pm. Thought we had it corrected by 3pm. Stayed until 7pm to get everyone's card's fixed. And of course everyone used a credit card today of course!
So now I'm just finishing up the laundry, only one more load to do...House and car is clean...
Oh and we are going to Detroit/Holland MI tomorrow evening for Layne's 1st birthday so I won't be around either! Keep the posting to a minimum!

I just got off the phone with Theresa. We are getting together tomorrow for a picnic at a local park. She is bringing her girls and mom and I will have my girls and Ty with me. Should be alot of fun. Brooksie will be there as well since this is where we hand him over

For the DC crowd. We are going to take the metro in and plan leave here around 10:30am. We are hoping that it should put us to the hotel between 11:30am and noon~

Wow nurses only have to renew every 2 years. If I lived near you I would renew you as I am a CPR instructor.

...and I just wanted to say to everyone thanks for being around. It's nice to vent to people who don't roll their eyes and say "too bad" and, forgive me for being corny, but giving everyone that unconditional friendship that we need in life that we may not get elsewhere when we need it. :) Thanks guys. :)

Where is the fainting smilie when I need him??? And, Glynis, you said you were BORING???? :rotfl2:

triplefigs--what kind of muffins are you eating? I am doing the Weight Watchers program, and I am addicted to the 1-point Weight Watchers chocolate cakes. (Not sure I should eat my daily points allowance in all chocolate cakes, though some days, it seems like a good idea!!)

beth--I'm with you. I'd rather have the warm weather than the storms! Good luck this weekend!

blueeyes101817-- :wizard: & prayers to Alex. Have fun at the meet!

I love those cakes, too! I also like the cinnamon swirl two point bars and the WW ice cream treats are pretty good too!

 not fun, guys...
I've been there and done that before (but never got my t-shirt). :rotfl2: Well not at the exact same spot and for the same thing but I was stuck sitting on 95 for about 3 + hours, after three hours I lost track, one night around DC as they were putting up bridge beams. They would stop traffic put one beam up and do whatever they needed to do to secure it and then let some cars go through. Both directions of traffic were stopped. It was basically a street party as we were sitting there for such a long time :cool1: party: and lots of people were getting out of their cars and talking to one another.

I am ever grateful though it was not the time I :car: :drive: from Florida to PA on a dead alternator.:faint: Or I would not have made it to PA without any problems. :cloud9:

I like the soy "chips". They taste like rice cakes which I like. The milk shake was blegh! John liked it, though! We were talking about ordering directly from Nutrisystem too once this month was over and we saw what we liked.

So far the cereal, oatmeal, and b'fast bars have been good. haven't had any bad lunch or dinner meals. I love the lunch chocolate bars. They are sinful! and the little chocolates for dessert are good.

We're figuring John will be on 2 months and me 3-4 depending on how fast it comes off.

What are your faves?

How frustrating! Vent anytime -- that's what friends are for.

Do you think overall nutrisystem is worth the cost....do you do it mostly for the convenience? We have only been dieting 2 weeks and I am sick of it!! Last night I was so hungry that I ate a Tums...and it tasted good!!! How sad is that?!

I was thinking of printing these out and attaching them to the bags of cotton candy and popcorn at the party on Sat.

My Endocrinologist recommended it for me because it's based on the Glycemic Index (I'm diabetic too). We picked it for convenience and the fact that if you really stick to it, you lose around 10 pounds per month. That meant we could drop 20-30 pounds and then go on maintenance faster.

Have fun!

Good luck with your decison! I would love to have a trailer to travel around in, oh well I can dream :goodvibes

UP Disney said:
Well, I'm off to sit down with Chuck and review our budget to decide whether we can afford the trailer. I am torn on whether I want us to be able to get it or not. I know we can afford it really but I dont want it to cut into other things that I want. What to do? What to do? I'll tell you what we decide later.

So my youngest DGS had a Carvel Ice Cream Cake for his second birthday.
