I will be back in a little bit. I need to go put Emma to bed and then clean the kitchen. I have done nothing today but nap quite a bit. I had to start back up my medicine (Diamox) yesterday as the humidity has really been affecting me. Not only have I had some horrible headaches but my left ear has been whooshing which means the pressure is pretty high in my head. The medicine has horrible side affects on me, extreme exhaustion, numbness in my hands and feet, horrible indigestion, and having to go to the bathroom all the time. The upside is that it totally wipes out my thrist for carbonated beverages as it makes them taste horrible. I hope it doesn't take long for me to get readjusted to the medicine.

That is terrific! I haven't yet come up with a name for my PM. I keep telling DH we have to come up with one! :rotfl: Once I figure out a middle name, I will pm you, though, because you know he has to have a license! :thumbsup2

Glynis--congratulations on signing up for the 1/2 marathon! That is a goal of mine & DH's. We are going to try to do the "Minnie" next spring, and then in January 2008, we are aiming for the half. I'd try the half this January, but I can't get off from work then. (Murphy's Law will probably hit, though, and it will end up being an out-of-school snow day for us!)
I think you should go with

STITCH!!!

Hey Vicki.....

Some room opened up on the cruise! I PM'd Chanon & Jennifer...but so far no response...I can't hold them for her since she used a TA.

I just called Jennifer to let her know. She is going to try to get hold of Chanon. Hope it works out that she can join us. Thanks for letting me know.

Well, at 62, I'm definitely done! The next thing for me would be a great grandchild. That might not be that far off - my oldest grandchild is almost 21, and the next one is almost 20. Maybe another two or three years?

Chuck and I were talking today about what might be happening in 5 years and I told him we could have a 2-3 year old grandchild by then (at least I hope they wouldn't be any older since neither of my girls are married yet and I hope that they do that first). It is hard to imagine actually. I mean logically I know that my girls are old enough but emotionally to me they are still my babies.

Well, I hope this great-grandmother business doesn't happen too soon. None of them are in serious relationships yet, one doesn't have a job right now, one is still in college, and the other is only 17! I was really just joking, but then again, it's a very real possibility.

last... my other SIL A (the sick one is SIL T) and I have been contacting the newspaper and news station today about this. I hope one of them put this on the news..

"Mother with 2 months or less to life denied visitiation with less than two year old daughter."

I so don't like the girls father or the judge who said no, not going to happen.
prayers that somebody has a change of mind and that little gril gets to spend her moms last months with her.

Paula - what is WRONG with those people? What was the legal basis for the denial? Is your SIL's mother considered unfit in some way to care for the child? I don't get it. This is one of the most heartless things I have ever heard of.

Ok, I'm supposed to be working on putting our budget together. While we were in Green Bay today for Chuck's specialist appointment (that is a thread for later), we stopped to look at travel trailers. We have been talking about upgrading our pop-up to a regular travel trailer since Chuck has been having his joint issues. We looked online last night at some Jayco ones and picked one that we liked. We stopped at a big dealership in Green Bay and didn't really like them as well as the Jayco we saw online. We stopped at our local Jayco dealer in Iron Mountain when we got home. They have the exact one that we were thinking about and it has all the bells and whistles. It is a 2006 model so is clearanced price (I never quite understand that but I guess they have to make room for the 2007's which will be out in the next month or so). It is reduced by $7000. They think that our pop-up is probably worth $3000. We can get financing and the interest is tax deductible because it has a bathroom, bedroom & kitchen.

Here it is. We would get the 26' version. That is all we need. It has two bunk beds in the back for the girls if they come (or our grandbabies in 5-10 years  if we are so lucky).

Here is the floor plan.

Now, I have to get off the DDA and put together the info to show Chuck that we can afford this. I know that it will cut into my Disney trips, but my new plan is to travel around the country and meet my DDA friends!!!! Chuck says that he would do that with me in this (& after we get a new vehicle to pull it because our suburban isn't reliable). We pay off both our vehicles within the year so next summer we could afford another vehicle payment!!!! So I could be knocking on DDA doors as early as next summer!!! :woohoo:

I have a plethora of stitch designs!!

Hey Kate, you seen any Space Mountain designs? I looked for her through some of the galleries and couldn't find any. I haven't had time to look in all of them.

I actually started a wedding planning business two years ago

my brother got married and I planned their wedding and everyone told me I should be a wedding planner - so I decided to try it

I had one wedding -I hated the night hours and I found out that brides really don't want to let go - I felt that I did a work for her and then she would change her mind - that was that end of that!!!!

I think I would stick with bridal/baby showers. But I can see for sure what you mean about the bride not wanting to let go. Although I would have loved to have someone do mine!

Here's my toothless cutie! He also had a major amount of hair cut off since the 4th of July photos.

Kate,
Not sure if we would have another...its not out of the realm of possibility though but I don't know at this point.

Paula,
I cannot believe that is happening..I am so sorry.

I washed all my shirts & am still deciding on what to put on each for the kids. DH won't wear one this trip & I am going to make just 2 for me. I am getting a headache looking at the design gallery... :faint:

This is past my bed time but I am still hanging in there.
